Chapter 1 : Rebirth (Part 1)

 "…???… Wh-what happened?" Gu Yuanyuan confusingly uttered.

As a moment pa.s.sed, she later then realized that she transmigrated again for the second time now.

Originally, she was just an ordinary girl living her ordinary life but, because of an unexpected accident, she transmigrated inside an army as Hua Lili. She had no choice but to adapt herself to the new environment and later planned to start her journey as a first-time transmigrator.

However, in this age and era, it seems that transmigration was already a common occurrence and at the same time, a popular trend particularly, nowadays. Therefore, it's no wonder that this time, she transmigrated again and inside a book, no less. Wherein, inside the novel, there was a character bearing the same name as her.

It took a while before Gu Yuanyuan finally calmed down and, she started processing the information inside her head. She carefully sorted out the whole plot of the novel. After doing so, she felt depressed that this body she was currently occupying, had experienced a harsh life.

The owner of the said body was also named Gu Yuanyuan. She, on the contrary, already had four sons at a young, delicate age. Nevertheless, she doesn't have a single man around her and remained as an unmarried woman. Curious as she was, Gu Yuanyuan thought that the four sons just suddenly appeared out of thin air in the story without even an inkling of explanation about their backstory.

The novel's Gu Yuanyuan, like her, was just an ordinary young woman that brought up her four young sons with grave difficulty. She worked hard solely to provide her sons' every need. However, one day, after seeing her unique beauty, a wealthy man suddenly showed up and took a fancy of her.

Unbeknownst to her, this wealthy man was the prime antagonist and the villain of the story. He demanded that, as long as she cast away her all her sons and became his woman, he'd be willing to give her the wealth that she desired.

The original owner of the body strongly disagreed with the villain's unreasonable demands. The villain couldn't accept her rejection hence, he resorted to an underhanded method just to capture her. Fortunately, she had already expected that he would retaliate against them, that's why she planned their departure ahead of time. They tried their best to run away from him but, despite their desperate efforts, she accidentally lost her four sons in the process and ended up being caught by the villain.

While the original owner was being held captive, she stubbornly refused to submit and even declared that she would rather die than surrender to her captors. The villain continued listening to her persistent refusals when he apparently lost his patience afterward. Witnessing her disobedience at every turn, he was determined to teach her a harsh lesson that she could never forget. As he decided his next move, he unceremoniously threw her into a remote valley.

After tasting the villain's wrath, the original owner's body suffered greatly, and adding to it was the fact that her body was initially weak and not in good health. Due to these conditions, she deteriorated after just spending a night from the severe cold and froze to death. 

Fro-froze to death?!

Gu Yuanyuan was: "…"

She was contemplating on how did she deserve to undergo such unjustifiable treatment and died miserably just for being beautiful.

Only one thing made Gu Yuanyuan a bit pleased and gratified in spite of all the terrible events that occurred. It was the fact that the four sons who got separated from her inside the novel, all survived and lived well. They also successfully grew up and surprisingly became the respected leading figures in their own chosen fields.

As they grew up, the four male protagonists didn't know the exact reason behind their mother's death and merely a.s.sumed that she abandoned them for the sake of money. But, after discovering the whole truth about it, they all decided to collaborate with each other in order to punish the villain for his sins.[a1] 

Eventually, after learning the aftermath of the four sons, Gu Yuanyuan's anger had somewhat dampened a little bit but, not totally enough to cool down her foul mood.

All of a sudden, a rustling and squeaking sound could be heard nearby, causing this abandoned and remote valley even more conspicuously eerie.

That's right. Gu Yuanyuan was currently standing on the said remote valley.

According to the novel's plot, she transmigrated the same time the original owner was thrown into this remote valley. So, it's no wonder how she ended up standing at the very same place.

To put it simply, the original owner was frozen to death, and after that, she came from transmigration and took over her body.

With this thought in mind, Gu Yuanyuan couldn't help but shudder with cold sweats.

After noticing that she was only wearing a thin silk nightgown in the middle of a desolate place, she finally understood why the original owner froze to death. 'Who will not freeze after wearing such clothes?' She thought ruefully.

As Gu Yuanyuan slowly turned around, she discovered a thick, lush forest behind her. With a graceful manner, she set herself to leave and move towards the forest.

 Tiger???

 s.h.i.+t!!

After identifying the unexpected visitor, Gu Yuayuan spat out a collective of curse words as her heart almost burst out from her body. 'Why the h.e.l.l such creature exists in a remote valley anyway?!'

The tiger appeared both mighty and fierce on its magnificent stature and s.h.i.+ning fur. Its distinct pair of chillingly cold and clear eyes firmly locked unto her.

Gu Yuanyuan felt the hairs on her back had stood up at its gaze landed on her. She was a weak woman and unarmed at that. Not even mentioning that she didn't have a single shoe on her. So basically, how on earth would she fight the dangerous predator, which was the king of the beast with only bare hands?

 'It looked so strong and ma.s.sive. Shouldn't it be hungry?'

Gu Yuayuan swallowed down the huge lump on her throat as she glanced around the forest that was surrounding her. The place where she was currently standing was the bottom of the ditch ground, at least two meters apart from the top where the tiger was positioned.

As the tiger was slowly approaching, closer and closer. Gu Yuanyuan, on the other hand, caught a scent of its strong bloodl.u.s.t and unhesitatingly concluded that the former was going to kill her.

 "…" Gu Yuanyuan was speechless.
