"What? One hour? I cannot wait that long." Duan Chunhua protested.

"You can complain whatever you want. There is nothing that I can do at this moment." The driver said. 

Duan Chunhua gritted. If she could not arrive at Tang Residence before 7 p.m., then she would be fired. 

A male pa.s.senger went to check the accident and came back. 

"The accident is quite terrible. It involves the car. The road has been totally blocked. They are waiting for the ambulance and firefighter to come over since there are people blocked in their vehicles and unable to get out. However, they seem conscious." The male pa.s.senger explained the situation to others.

"Who cares if they are alive or not?" Duan Chunhua mumbled. 

"What a cruel thing to say, young lady." A pa.s.senger heard what Duan Chunhua had been mumbled.

"What did she say?" Someone asked.

"She said something like, 'Who cares if they are alive or not?'. She should not say something heartless like that." 

Everyone looked at Duan Chunhua. Duan Chunhua felt everyone staring at her and felt embarra.s.sed. She felt like getting out of the bus here, but she did not know the way to Tang Residence. She went silent after that. 

The ambulance and firefighters came over to save the people in the accident. It was two hours later that the road started to clear up and people could use them again. 

The bus started to move. Only one hour later, Duan Chunhua arrived at Tang Residence. 

The head maid was waiting for her. Besides the head maid was the butler, Grandpa Hang. Duan Chunhua rushed over and apologized to them. However, they did not care about that. 

"Duan Chunhua, you abandoned your duty and left the residence at your wimp. You should read the contract that we offered you. You should know that you cannot do something like this." The head maid said.

"Auntie, please forgive me. I will never do that again." Duan Chunhua said. 

"You should know that you are on probation period. And you already made a lot of mistakes during this time. However, we forgave you for those mistakes since they were small mistakes. However, today's behaviour is the straw that broke the camel's back. We cannot allow these behaviours anymore. So, we fire you on the spot." The head maid said.

"Please... Forgive me." Duan Chunhua begged.

"Please leave this place. Otherwise, I will call the police." Grandpa Hang said.

Yu Qi was pa.s.sing by and saw the situation. Duan Chunhua noticed Yu Qi. Feeling embarra.s.sed and angry, she rushed to Yu Qi. 

Yu Qi avoided Duan Chunhua when Duan Chunhua was about to hit her. Duan Chunhua did not expect Yu Qi to avoid her, and she fell to the ground after tripping on her own. 

"Why do I have to suffer like this? Why only you get everything? I am also an orphan. It is not fair that you get everything." Duan Chunhua blamed what happened to her on Yu Qi.

"What?" Yu Qi was confused.

She understood what Duan Chunhua said but she did not understand why Duan Chunhua blamed her for this. She never met Duan Chunhua before.

Grandpa Hang and the head maid were angry when they heard something like that. They also did not understand why Duan Chunhua blamed Yu Qi for everything that happened to her. 

In fact, since Duan Chunhua started working, this was the first time Yu Qi met Duan Chunhua because Yu Qi usually did not return home. She usually goes to her penthouse. 

"If you don't leave now, I will call the police." Grandpa Hang said.

Duan Chunhua finally snapped out. Due to her jealousy, she tried to attack Yu Qi. 

"No, don't call the police. I will leave. But please, allow me to take my stuff." Duan Chunhua gave up staying at this place.

"Hurry up." The head maid said.

Duan Chunhua left with the head maid.

"What is going on?" Yu Qi wanted to know. 

Grandpa Hang started to explain everything. Yu Qi nodded several times listening to Grandpa Hang's story.

"Don't delete everything about her first. Save it." Yu Qi said.

"Huh?" Grandpa Hang was confused.

"Moreover, you also need to pay her salary for this month. Even though the month is still not over yet, pay her the full salary." Yu Qi stated.

"Do we need to do that?" Grandpa Hang said.

"Hmm... Do it. Just compile everything and store it. You might need it later." Yu Qi smiled.

"I understand Miss Yu Qi." Grandpa Hang nodded.

Duan Chunhua arrived at the dormitory under the head maid's observation. Some of the maids who already finished their tasks were resting on their beds when the two people came in. 

The other maids were confused when they watched Duan Chunhua packing her things. It was almost like she was leaving this place. 

They wanted to ask Duan Chunhua about this but under the head maid's eyes, they did not dare to ask anything but to watch Duan Chunhua packing her things. Then, Duan Chunhua and the head maid left. 

When they left, the other maids started to talk about what just happened.

"Is she getting fired?" 

"Probably." 

"I heard she left her job today. She is supposed to work with Mei Ling today."

"Mei Ling, is it true?" 

Mei Ling was the maid who was supposed to work with Duan Chunhua.
