This wasn't the first time Xiaolei experienced being proposed to. In her previous life, she had already experienced an extravagant proposal from Yun Jinhan. He lit up billboards and buildings with the words 'Will you marry me?' flas.h.i.+ng in them and knelt down before her in the city's busiest and most famous square. She was wrong to think that proposals weren't really that great. She was utterly wrong. He proved her wrong again.

This was beyond what she imagined. She was utterly overwhelmed. She felt like she was walking on air. Everything was just so different from what she thought – completely different.

She never thought that she could ever feel like this. She never thought that his innocent confession using chocolate bars and this oh so adorable proposal of his, which even utilized his fluffy pets, would make her heart sing with pure happiness and overflowing love. Her entire body had been taken over by all these new and overwhelming emotions. How could this cute panda come up with all these unrivaled, romantic and adorable ideas? He was simply unpredictable! Really… never underestimate an innocent maiden...

Meanwhile, at that same moment, while Xiaolei was busy recovering from all his shocking surprises, the already nervous big panda became even more anxious as he waited.

He saw how her wide smile faded the moment she looked at the words he was conveying and it made his heart tremble. But he persisted and patiently waited for her. She already said she loved him so why would he fear this now?

When she finally moved and climbed down the rock, Yu Chen tensed up. She walked towards them and stood one meter before him.

Xiaolei looked at the wolves quietly sitting there. She looked at big Dark and resisted the urge to pound on him and pet him. And then, her eyes fell on the white panda. She stepped closer to him, locking her eyes with his. She glanced at the 'ME' written on the cardboard he was holding and she bit her lip. She extended one of her fingers and traced the letters quietly before she gazed up at him again. He seemed to be growing impatient.

"Yu Chen…" she finally opened her mouth. "I really… everything is really adorable. I can't even find the right words to describe what I'm feeling right now. I'm really… really happy."

Xiaolei cupped his face with her hands. "This is the cutest proposal I have ever seen in my life." She smiled and Yu Chen's face beamed in delight. He looked so happy that Xiaolei found it hard to tell him the truth. She didn't know how he would react. Would it make him happy once she told him? Would it ruin the mood? Would it make him think that his efforts were unnecessary?

She didn't want to spoil anything. They got married under strange circ.u.mstances. They got married before confessing to each other and before proposing to each other. Their situation was a little messed up but who cared about that now? All she wanted now was to see his expression and to see how he would react to her response.

Looking deeply into his eyes, Xiaolei breathed deeply as her thumb caressed his cheeks. "Yes," she declared, her eyes glimmering as she smiled. She felt him turn into unresponsive stone and the cardboard in his hands fell. At that very moment, Xiaolei noticed the falling white particles. Her eyes widened in disbelief. What?! Is this snow? Impossible! How the h.e.l.l did…

Before Luo Xiaolei could say a word about this surprise, Yu Chen embraced her, lifted her up and spun her around as the white snow-like thingy fell from the sky. It was simply magical.

Yu Chen was breathless with delight as he gazed at her, she was thrilled beyond words to be the recipient of all these surprises.

Once he put her down and embraced her, big Dark howled. It would surely be eerie for other people but to both of them, it wasn't. When they were young, Yu Chen used his pet's howls as a signal to say she was coming. Once he heard Big Dark's howls, he would rush out and run towards the rock to meet her. Xiaolei knew about it. She knew that Big Dark was broadcasting a message far and wide as he howled towards the moon.

"What do you think is he saying?" she asked him, and Yu Chen loosened up his grip on her.

"He's declaring to the world that you said 'yes'." He replied and Xiaolei smiled in utter happiness.

He embraced her again as if he didn't know what else he could do to show her how happy he was. "I'm… so happy, Xiaolei. You don't how happy I am." He said and Xiaolei pulled away.

She gazed up at him and she saw galaxies in his eyes. She never saw him this happy before and this was more than enough for her. She didn't regret saying 'yes' at all despite knowing that they were already married.

"I'm happy too. I love you." she uttered and she kissed him again. This time she was in-change and her kiss was bold and fiery and full of pa.s.sion.
