The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 115 - 115 Can I Have Him, Instead?

As October waited for the elevator door to open for her office's floor, she heard her phone ring. She looked it up and looked at the caller ID flas.h.i.+ng on thek screen. After a few rings, she casually answered her phone.

"Ber~ry! It was so tiring to just send you messages during our conversation. My fingers are tired from tapping. Your man is so cruel! Still, I have to say that his voice is just so s.e.xy and cold on the phone, especially when he spat so furiously on the phone last night! Ah! s.h.i.+vers, s.h.i.+vers I tell yah! Must have been tough with you when you always hear that kind of voice that makes your ears pregnant!" Ma Rong laughed teasingly and told October the wild thoughts he have about Lexus. 

October kept silent the whole time as her face was still not showing any emotion; however, the aura she was exuding around her was getting chillier by the minute. Unfortunately, the one who was causing this turbulent change in October was totally oblivious as he continued to talk nonstop.

"Oh my gooooos.h.!.+ See! See?! His stolen photo still looked good that it did not hide his devillish charm. This handsome face with his oh so yummy  muscles hidden under his business suit....gosh, it is making me drool. Ehem, sorry! Oh right, I can't show you the picture I am looking. Haha! Anyway, d.a.m.n girl, I did not know you had it in you. Tch. Tch. Are you for real? Berry, if ever you change your mind and you want to find another guy, can I have him instead? Hm?"

October's lips twitched in irritation. She can't believe that her friend was actually saying this kinds of things to her. Even after a couple of years pa.s.sed, Ma Rong still did not change and still kept spouting words that was on his mind. In short, he just can't keep his mouth shut. Also, what was more infuriating was that she could not slap her friend. His words were getting bolder and bolder making her face darker in the process and her mood dropped to zero degrees.

As soon as October stepped out of the elevator, the atmosphere in the hallway seemed like it immediately frozen up. When the other employees saw their usually apathetic and coldly calm director, they all stood frozen in their spots as they held their breaths in surprise, fear, and awe. Yes, despite her giving them this heavy atmosphere, they were still captivated by her stunning beauty. 

Her heels clicked on the marble floor as she walked pa.s.sed the frozen employees. In fact, she did not see anything or anyone in this hallway because her focus was on the person she was talking with, Ma Rong. 

"Hey! Are you listening, Berry? Is your silence meant 'Yes'? Hm?" Ma Rong smilingly asked as his eyes danced in amus.e.m.e.nt and mischief. She knew that she did not have much strength to defend herself, to this time, it was such a pleasant suprise to see this happening right now. All who say this were also turning their heads toward  her direction and has no way of stepping into this kind of mess. 

"Ma Rong, do you believe that I'll make you shut yourself up using any vicious means? Do you want to try?" October asked menacingly as she warned Ma Rong. The atmosphere around not only it was heavy but it also was dark and getting dangerous. Her usually calm eyes were now brewing with a fierce storm as she swing the door open of her office with a bang, making all the other employees nearby to flinch and shrink their necks.

The employees who saw her and heard that bang, all were dumbfounded in place and looked at each other. What was that just now? Their usually calm and collected Ice Director have somehow lost her cool. Who made their director's mood turn bad this early in the morning? 

The employees' hearts were beating loudly in their chest as they slowly regained their senses and reluctantly left the area near the a.s.sistant Director's office. They were curious but they were in no position to ask this personal matters to October. And so, all have made a silent consensus as they decided to ask someone who they think is the most reliable person in their company who can be considered as the person closest to October, Secretary Yun Xixi.

At that time, Yun Xixi was looking at her reflection from her mirror when, out of the blue, the office's door were swung open with a loud bang. This sudden movement made Yun Xixi jump in her seat. She whipped her head to the door and saw her ice G.o.ddess floating in on their office. However, that was what she thought it would happen because, right now, her boss has a really deep scowl on her face as heavy pressure engulfed the whole of the office, making Yun Xixi shrink down on her seat and look at her boss surprise. 

Yun Xixi blinked her watery eyes as she silently observed her boss walking with heavy footsteps toward her main office. She saw that she was holding her phone on her ear and it seems to be that the person who made her angry was the person she was currently talking on the phone. 

Is the person she's talking to one of our business partners? No, that's not right. Maybe...maybe it is her secret lover?! 

Yun Xixi covered her mouth as she let out a small gasp and her eyes widened while following her boss walking toward her office. It was only after her boss' silhuette vanished from her sight did she blink her eyes.

No way...! Was that really perhaps her lover? Should I try to ask boss about it? Gos.h.!.+ My curiosity is killing me! I want to know. I want to know!

Yun Xixi's eyes sparkled in gossip while looking at the closed door. She then smiled bitterly as she can still feel that heavy pressure October was releasing which pa.s.sed through the gaps of the door. She then wondered if when will this suffocating pressure subside and make her work more comfortable. Also, she still has a gossiping heart to calm and her curious mind to feed. 

Yun Xixi stilled her heart as she decided to ask her boss about that later, maybe after her anger drained away. 

She then remembered her boss saying something about 'vicious means' or between those lines. What was more shocking was that it was said in a very menacing and dark tone with clear warning in her words. Somehow, Yun Xixi got a chill run down her spine and shook her head to shrug off the thought of something inappropriate because she just ended up thinking that her boss will do something vicious. However, thinking about it, it was that person's fault for angering this calm and elegant G.o.ddess.
