The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 77 - 77 Lexus Is That Capable

"Mother." Lexus looked at her mother in alarm. Why does she have to say that? He then looked at October beside him with worry as his hold of her hand tightened.

Feeling her hand being squeezed tight, October gave Lexus a sideway glance before returning her attention back on Mother Song. No matter, she did not flinch or look away  from her prying eyes. 

"Don't interfere with out conversation, you stupid son." Mother Song coldly looked down on Lexus with a warning tone in her voice. She then turned to October and said, "Do you have something that you're dissatisfied with?"

"No." October replied almost instantly. Unconsciously squeezing her hand that was holding Lexus', she replied straightforwardly, "I don't want a grand wedding. I only want to have a simple wedding--"

"Nonsense." Grandpa He cut off October's sentence. Simple wedding? There's no way he would let her have a simple wedding. "Out of the question."

Mother Song also nodded. "The Song's weddings, as what I have said, can never be simple so I can't agree to that."

October knew thay they wouldn't let her do that she just can't throw away her peaceful life be taken away from her. With thay, she gritted her teeth and continued her reason. " Fine, I wouldn't push on it being simple. However, I want our wedding be attended with only the people who are important with our lives. Uninvolved poeple are not necessary, including those of business partners and the like. I want it to be as solemn as possible. Just that is what I need."

Grandpa He turned silent; even Mother Song gave a thought about it. 

October looked at them and hoped that they would understand. She needs to be firm in this. She doesn't want people to disrupt her work with their pointless arguments and be involved in a power struggle. That's right. October lowered her head as a thought pa.s.sed her mind,  Power struggle? Hmph! She's already in a power struggle with her father and stepmother so such problem, I don't want it. 

Grandpa He looked at his granddaughter who was being serious at this. He can't do anything else but to sigh in defeat. "If that's what you want then I will support you." 

October's eyes glowed brightly at her grandpa and a small smile spread on her lips. She looked beautiful with just her expressionless face, but now that her face was graced with a soft smile, it was just breathtaking. It immediately brightened the room.

Grandpa He was dumbfounded. He could not believe that he had finally seen her smile again. He was overjoyed that he can already feel that his eyes were starting to sting. He tried to control his tears and patted her head with a gently smile. This was enough. He will do anything to keep her smiling.

"Auntie." October turned to Mother Song in antic.i.p.ation as she called her softly.

Mother Song already doesn't have any other choice, considering that Grandpa He have already agreed to it. Sighing, she said, "Find. I will make it as private as possible but this wedding can never be simple." 

"Thank you, Auntie." October sincerely said as her smile remained on her face. Surely, she looked even more stunning with that kind of expression.

"Also, stop calling me 'Auntie.' You can call me 'Mother' or 'Mom' since you are already married to my son." Mother Song said with a warm smile.

"And call me 'Dad' or 'Father.' Being called like that by my cute daughter-in-law will be really satisfying." Song Wei laughed but Lexus gave him a glare. 

Immediately, October's face turned brigt red. That's right, she was already married to Lexus so such address to his parents can be considered necessary. 

Mother...mom...she had never used that word for such a long time now. She never thought that she would be given a chance to call out this address to someone other than her deceased mother.

"Thank you, mother, father." October said. It felt weird as soon as she said those words, however, it wasn't so bad at all. 

Lexus looked at October's flushed face and couldn't help but feel an ache in his heart. He couldn't imagine how she had lived her whole life without a mother and a father.

Even if the father is still alive, he did not act his part at all so he does not deserve to be called 'father' by him or his wife. The only thing that Lexus could say was that he was grateful to him for giving her life and that was it. 

"So..." Mother Song trailed off and glanced down to October's belly. Raising her beautifully shaped eyebrow, she asked in a voice of excitement that she couldn't hide, "I hear that you are already pregnant...?"

October touched her flat belly and blushed as she nodded. She was a little embara.s.sed with this. She knew that she it was only that night but that one night of pa.s.sion immediately bore fruit. 

"I am just that capable." Lexus proudly said with his wide smug smile on his handsome face. No matter what they say, he was proud that he was immediately able to get her pregnant instantly. 

October pinched his side again making him hiss in pain. She gave him a warning look before turning to Mother and Father Song. She could not help but blush deeply.  That was not necessary! 

October thought that Lexus does not have to say that. It was really embara.s.sing for her. 

Seeing her all red and embara.s.sed like this only made Lexus' smile wider. His heart felt warm and spreading throught his body. Reaching out, he held her head and kissed her temple tenderly. 

Grandpa He did not expect Lexus to do this. All he can do was stop and stare. His lips twitched furiously. "You...you brat! Don't lay your hands on my granddaughter!"

October felt light headed. Seriously, how can Lexus be so brazen about being so intimate with her? Even kissing her in front of their family! This was just too much for October.

Father and Mother Song laughed whole heartedly at this. They were ,extremely happy to know that they already have a daughter-in-law and even more than happy that they will be having a grandchild soon. This was really such big news for them. 

"As expected of my son!" Father Song laughed. He had always wanted to have a grandchild for years now but before, his son seems too aloof about it. But now, out of the blue, his son just up and about married all too suddenly and was already expecting! Really, could there be any news more better than this? 

Both sides were excited and ecstatic about this. n.o.body would have really expected that these two families will be joined by marriage. Really, n.o.body can really predict what the future holds.
