The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 93 - 93 Jealousy

"So, these are the designs that your mother gave?" October said apathetically as she looked at the designs page after page. All of the designs were good. But for someone like her, the designs were not just to her taste. Is there something wrong with her? She frowned.

Lexus turned to face her with raised eyebrow cut the pancakes into pieces for October to eat with more ease. "She's already your mother now since you, my love, is my wife. Also, she said that you also call her 'mother' when yoi two met, remember?"

At Lexus' correction, October nodded but still a little hesitant to utter it. For her, it was just so sudden and too fast. However, she also learned that her mother-in-law, aside from being such a gorgeoys woman, is a tough woman with a strong personality. Even her husband bends to her at her every whims. Having such a mother-in-law was also because of the man who looked at her directly and pulled her out of her monotonous life.

"Your mother is a good woman." October said with a flash of admiration on her eyes as she turned to Lexus. This was a compliment, but seeing such adoring eyes that was not for him, Lexus felt proud of his mother but also felt threatened by her. 

With a dark look on his face and a trace of danger flickering pa.s.sed his eyes, Lexus grumbled using his deep gruffy voice, "I am more amazing than my mother."

October blankly looked at the pouting face of Lexus who was grudgingly stabbing and slicing the pancake on his plate. Poor pancakes, they were so innocent yet they were tortured like so.

"Are you...jealous?" October slowly asked in a flat tone. She was just testing Lexus to see what reaction she will get from him and the reaction she got was just...

"Jealous? Me?" Lexus exclaimed and paused for a moment from torturing his pancakes. 

So he is not...  October thought and felt a little disappointed. So it turned out that she was also expecting him to be a little jealous.

"Of course I am jealous! Even if it's my own mother, I don't care." Lexus turned to October and said in a very serious face and spat coldly. He then closed in on her until their noses almost touched and added, "You can only took interest on me, like me, adore me, admire, and love me. But I would not let you hate me, of course."

October's eyes widened a little and showed a ripple in it. She never expected for him to tell her these and he was even so controlling. Frowning, she talked back in a little harsher tone while pinching both of his cheeks, "I would not like it if you go overboard. I want to like whoever I like and admire whoever I want. I love you so you do not have to worry about me leaving you, especially so that you are the father of my child."

October furrowed her brows at the shocked look that Lexus gave her. His eyes could not hide his shock and his mouth were slightly parted. She rolled her eyes at him and put the design down the table and thought of eating her pancakes. 

"Wait! Say that one more time."

"Say what? About you not going overboard?" October asked without giving him a glance. "Eat your pancake already."

Saying that, she jabbed a piece of pancake and put it on Lexus' mouth which he instantaneously chewed and swallowed in a hurry.

"No, after that. You said that you love me." Lexus said with a wide grin on his face and his eyes glowed brilliantly. He was confident in his hearing so he would not believe that he misheard anything. 

October almost choked on her food when she heard him say that. Lexus immediately gave her a gla.s.s of water and downed it in gulps. After coughing a few times, she then gave Lexus a sideway glance and said seemingly innocent about it, "Did I? Well, I guess I did say that."

Lexus' eyes darkened as he looked at the flushed face of his wife who seemed to have a hard time controlling her panicked heart. She then resumed her eating and acted as nonchalant as she can making Lexus who saw this smile tenderly at her. Unfortunately, he could not make himself to get angry with her.  

"Well, it does not matter. I'll just let you say that to me again in the near future." He declared smugly and continued to eat.

"So petty." October muttered under her breath and kept silent throughout their breakfast.

However, the pink atmosphere between the two did not diminish one bit. In the outsider's eyes, the good-looking couple was a feast for their eyes. One could not tell that they had just married a few days ago because the way they act toward each other seemed like they were together for years. 

Truly, these two people were just eye candies and were equally gorgeous. They could say that their masters were truly a match made in heaven.

Lexus briefly glanced at October and gave her a strawberry which she popped into her mouth and the sweetness and juiciness of it spread in her mouth. She covered her mouth as she chewed on it and urged Lexus to give her grapes too.

With that, Lexus happily fed October pancakes and fruits. After that, the two got ready to go to their respective works with Lexus dropping October in front of her building. 

"I'll come pick you up later after work." 

"Okay." October nodded her head as was just about to open the car door but paused and turned to Lexus.

"Did you forget something?" Lexus asked with raised eyebrow.

After her long deliberation, she quickly landed a kiss on Lexus cheek and then swiftly got out of the car. She literally run out of there as to escape Lexus' piercing and burning gaze. 

Lexus was beyond himself as he run his fingers through his hair. He then chuckled while shaking his head in amus.e.m.e.nt. 

Since she stole a kiss, he will definitely steal some later. Lexus thought as mirth filled his eyes and soon, his car sped away from Halo Company.
