"I look like your Wi... Mom. Whenever you see me, My face will remind you about her." She was saying slowly and David patiently waited for her to finish.

"Have you ever regretted having me? as you lost the person you love after giving me birth." Sky finished and bit on her lip to control herself.

David was taken aback. He knew how much the information Sky had about the reason behind Amie's death. He couldn't afford to tell her due to various reasons. He felt a lump in his throat and couldn't talk.

He embraced her patted on her back as he calmed down, "Why are you thinking all these? Did anybody tell you something."

Sky shook her head, "I wanted to ask you for a very long time."

David didn't like the fact that she took such a long time to make her mind to ask him.

Sky calmed down and took a step back and faced him, "What?... Even if you regret it, you don't have another option now. Hmph." She said arrogantly and went to her desk.

He couldn't understand how she manages to pull off and get back to normal just so that he shouldn't worry. He heaved a sigh of relief and went towards her and lightly pulled her ears.

"Am I spoiling you too much?" David wasn't angry rather he was happy.

Arlo who didn't know David and Sky were in the room, pushed the door and saw father-daughter duo happily talking.

Sky giggled, "Yes! You are spoiling me too much."

Then she noticed Arlo who was in a daze, "Arlo?" David left her ear and turned towards the door.

"I'm sorry! I will..."

Sky cut him, "No problem, Enter." David went towards the couch as Arlo went towards Sky.

"Files. This had the finalized designs and this file have other designs." He kept the file and was about to leave when Sky stopped.

"Did you complete your work?"

Arlo stopped and turned back, "Almost over. Ms.Sky, Do I have any instructions?"

"I'm going out with Dad at..." She turned to David, "Six" he completed. "So finish your work and come." Sky said.

"Sure. Give me ten minutes." Arlo replied left the room.

Sky studied till Six o'clock and left with David for dinner. After about twenty minutes they reached the luxury empire hotel.

After exiting the elevator, David made up his mind and spoke, "Sky!"

"Yes, Dad!" Sky answered as she followed him out of the elevator.

"We are having dinner with Chairman Lan... and his son." David finished saying and turned back. Seeing Sky rooted, crossing her arms and puffing up, he took a step towards her to explain.

"They are asking me for a very long time. I always rejected it for you. I should still give a face to Chairman Lan who is elder. Isn't it?" David tried to be as convincing as possible.

"Dad! what's cooking up?" Sky asked straightforwardly with her poker face which alarmed David more.

"This is just dinner. Nothing else. I don't have any other intention." David replied honestly.

Sky knew he wouldn't do the same thing as it happened with Ethan. "Okay... Why? Are they behind Harley corporation? Don't tell me they want to give me a suggestion on how to run the business?"

David didn't dare to tell her that they wanted to meet HER. When he was thinking about how to answer, Sky spoke again and he noticed Kris and his father coming towards them.

"I rejected President Lan in the afternoon but here I am to have dinner with them." Sky took a small step back and raised her hands sideways mocking herself mentally.

Her hand touched somebody, she thought she was blocking the path for a waiter and turned to apologize, "I'm Sor...ry"

Her brows furrowed as she saw Kris who was in a white suit with a red and black striped tie. She heard Chairman Lan greeting David and she greeted him, "Chairman Lan."

She strode towards room without waiting for their reply and didn't even greet Kris who was looking at her curiously. David was relieved seeing her go towards the room rather than going out.

"I'm sorry Chairman Lan. She doesn't like to meet anybody who she isn't concerned. Just now I told her about you two so she is annoyed." David spoke as his gaze traced her till she entered the right room.

"Chairman Harley, We should apologize for making such an absurd request. Thank you for coming." Chairman Lan said as they walked towards the room. He didn't really expect the a.s.sistant was actually David's daughter. Even though he found her arrogant, a smile hung on his lips.

Sky was already sitting and didn't care to get up as she already greeted Chairman Lan. Kris pa.s.sed the digital menu to her first for ordering.

She ordered two chicken dishes and a salad. The rest of the dishes were ordered by the other three men. Sky cared to answer when any questions directed at her else she remained quite all the time.

Since they were randomly discussing other than business, she minded her own business and continued eating.

Kris felt like he was seeing a completely different person. He saw her talking with Sam and Daniel in the Optimum but here she was quiet as a mouse and had no expression on her face making him difficult to read what she was thinking.

Her phone started ringing which attracted the other three's attention. Sky dabbed her lips lightly and took her phone from her bag. Her lips naturally turned up seeing the caller name which of course Kris didn't miss.

She whispered to David and excused herself. She went out of the room with her mobile.

"Loran!" She answered right after coming out.

"Sister Sky! I'm a member of your Fanclub." Loran excitedly spoke.

"My Fanclub? But I didn't start any Fanclub. Dumbo, I don't like celebrities to that extent." Sky replied.

She used to at least watch movies when she was in Town A, now she didn't even know which actor and actresses were famous.

"Oh, I think you don't know. Let me send you a link." Loran responded and sent her a link immediately.

Sky checked the message when her phone vibrated. She clicked open the link and flabbergasted.
