Sky kept the phone back to the ear and asked in all seriousness, "Loran! did you create this account?"

"No, No. Sister Sky, I know you don't like them all. Anyway, enjoy the attention for now." Loran answered immediately as he celebrated the first fan club of Sky.

They spoke for some more time. Kris who had come out to receive a call saw her walking in the corridor and talking on the phone.

Instead of entering back inside he stood near the door and watched her smiling, chuckling and making many kinds of faces.

He understood she was cold to strangers. He remembered how she ordered a gla.s.s of water for him and smiled to himself.

Sky who had finished talking on the phone saw Kris standing and smiling. His blue iris were very striking. She entered inside without giving him a second glance as if she didn't know him.

Kris followed her in and sat on his chair. Sky opened her Fanclub profile and kept it in front of David and sat next to him on her chair.

David was surprised too. Then he pushed back the phone to her. "I will join the club later."

Sky gave him a stern look. Her father's account was verified which would make all the executives to follow the account seeing him, "Ludicrous! I will ask Sam to take it down."

Even though their voice was low, it was audible to the other two. Chairman Lan misunderstood and asked, "Do Ms.Harley enjoys clubbing?"

Sky choked on her food. She never once went to a club or pub. David patted on her back and about to correct him, Kris spoke.

"Dad, they are talking about Fanclub. President Harley got a first Fanclub in social media."

Kris had got a call from his a.s.sistant who reported him about Sky's Fanclub hence he understood what David said.

But when Sky and David heard him, both looked at each other. David understood her daughter and asked. But his way was completely different from Sky. She never cared to offend anybody and David tried not to burn the bridge between them.

"Fanclub is opened just a half an hour back. Looks like President Lan closely following about my daughter." David said and ate a piece of chicken.

Chairman Lan understood the meaning behind David's sentence and shot a glance at Kris and smiled awkwardly at David. Sky continued eating as if it wasn't about her.

Kris didn't bother what David meant, "Chairman Harley, President Harley knows that I followed the news about Jin family and I even wanted to help her but your daughter is capable and rejected me right away. Since my a.s.sistant knew, he informed me just now."

Sky's lip twitched and signaled David with her hands to stop asking. David nodded at Kris and said, "Yes, she is competent."

After dinner, Chairman Lan asked David to play chess but before he could say anything, the former turned to Sky and scoffed, "I hope it will be okay with your daughter."

How could Sky not understand what he meant? He was indirectly saying her as a problematic and mannerless girl.

Sky knew about David's chess skills and her lips dangerously curved up. David guessed she was ready to p.i.s.s off Chairman Lan and pursed his lips as he couldn't stop her.

"Of course not! Chairman Lan. Even I would like to see how my Dad will win on a crafty and calculative business-minded person like YOU." Sky spoke sweetly.

She knew it was important to be sly in the business world but she framed it like he was a cunning businessman. He couldn't object to her and he couldn't accept what she said either.

David tried very hard to control his laughter which obviously caught Chairman Lan's eyes. Kris was choked by wine but he didn't make any sound and pursed his lips as he glared at Sky.

Chairman Lan gritted his teeth not being able to rebuff.

Sky stood up, "I will arrange the board for you two." She took the chessboard and pieces from the drawer and arranged it at the gaming table silently leaving the other two to fume.

Sky gave a faint smile at two men when done, "Dad! Chairman Lan. You can start now."

David stood up from his chair strode towards her. Sky whispered near her ear, "Chairman Lan is already worked up. You can win easily."

"You think, I will lose if he is in the right state of mind?" David didn't like the way she stated even though he knew why she said it.

Sky didn't whisper this time, "Nope! My dad is so talented that he can win easily."

That line infuriated Chairman Lan even more. Kris lightly coughed before saying, "Looks like President Harley is overconfident with her father's skills."

'Overconfident?' Sky snorted in her mind.

"President Lan! you should have at least little confidence in your father." Sky replied and led David to chair ignoring the darkening face of Kris because Sky just implied that he don't have confidence in his father.

Chairman Lan sn.i.g.g.e.red and sat opposite to David. Kris saw calm and collected David and his father seething.

He sighed and stood next to Sky before speaking in a low voice, "Good tactic."

Sky smirked, "Your father started it. He dug his own grave."

Both stood and watched silently for a few minutes until Sky's phone rang. It was evident from the beginning that Chairman Lan wanted to win badly and his moves weren't good enough.

Sky checked the caller's name and went out. "What's up?"

"Sky, finally you got your Fanclub. I will follow." Ethan had the same excitement as Loran.

Sky's head throbbed, "Ethan! You are not following it. Your account is verified and it will become news in itself."

"I will!" Ethan's voice sounded resolute.

Sky knew how to make him agree to her, "Fine! I will not take you out next time. I will cancel our shopping plan. You just enjoy with your brainless friends and girls."
