Sky started calling his friends brainless because whenever they planned anything, it was only boozing and partying with girls.

"You win! I will only follow it by my fake account." Ethan wasn't ready to fall out with her.

"What? Why do you have a fake account? Aren't you getting much work at the office?" She didn't care to open her Sky Barton account for a long time. Hearing him, she didn't know what else to say.

"It's like a stress buster for me. Can you stop being a mother with me? Where are you?"

"Luxury empire... with Dad." Sky knew he would start whining if she doesn't ask him to go with her when she went out with Sam and others for dinner. Hence she clarified before he questions her.

"Okay! I will call some other time. Carry on." He hung up the call soon.

Sky sighed and turned towards the room but took a step back seeing Kris. She was frightened off seeing him standing right behind her in just a step or two gaps but she looked calm.

Sky was about to cross him to move towards the room, Kris spoke, "Your dad won!"

Sky paused for a second, moved again. Kris spoke again, "Why do you run away from me? Am I so scary?"

Sky stopped and turned to him looking calm. "No! You aren't."

"Then why don't you talk to me?" Kris asked again antic.i.p.ating the answer.

Sky laughed which had no friendliness, "Do I have to talk to you just because you are handsome? Isn't it quite absurd?"

Kris smiled at her question, "Then you can talk to me as President of the company."

Sky pursed her lips and nodded. She leaned on the wall and saw Kris who had kept his hands in pant pockets and looking elegant as she had seen in magazines and television.

"So you want to talk to about how we are running our business? And suggest the other one how to work just like how the older generation give their suggestion?" Sky pointed.

"You know, this is the reason I wanted to meet you." Kris again smiled and checked the time on his wrist.w.a.tch.

Sky understood what he meant, "What if I'm doing this to get your attention as you are the President of Kris International?"

Sky noticed Kris was smiling more than usual and in fact, he smiled for her every question instead of getting angry.

"Won't it will be useless that I worked for so many years and if I still don't know to judge a person correctly." Kris raised his brows tilted his head sideways.

Sky nodded and she didn't had anything to talk either. She pointed at the door "I will go in."

She had merely taken a few steps, when Kris called her, "Sky... Harley"

Sky turned around, Kris asked, "Can I call you by your name?"

"I don't think, we will meet again." Sky replied directly. 'Arrogant rich people.'

He chuckled after hearing her.

Sky couldn't understand him at all. "Looks like, President Lan is smiling more."

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to laugh at you. Never mind. What will I have to do if I have to meet you?"

"Oh!" Sky gave it a thought before saying. "You have to resign from your President and CEO position."

The smile disappeared no his face and asked curiously, "Will you meet me if I'm jobless?"

Sky shook her head and said in all seriousness, "I heard you are a great cook. You can be a chef in my home. Then you can meet me daily for one+one; two minutes."

She thought now he would chide her but Kris spoke, "I will consider your offer."

Sky fl.u.s.tered seeing him reply seriously, 'Sh*t is he psycho?', "No, No. I was just..."

Kris burst into laughter. Sky understood how it felt to fall in her own trap. Sky became serious and turned around. Left.

'Was that required? Idiot!' Sky chided herself as she entered the room and saw two talking inside the room after two games.

"Dad!" Sky called as she went towards them.

"President Harley wasn't overconfident about her dad. Your father is too good." Chairman Lan praised David.

"I know. Thank you." Sky was proud of her dad. She kept her hand on David's shoulder who was sitting.

"Dad, Shall we leave?" Sky asked. David nodded and stood up.

Kris followed right behind her and saw them preparing to leave. They bid goodbye and left the hotel. Kris spoke, "Chairman Harley, Can I have a word with President Harley?"

David turned towards Sky, the latter didn't want to be petty hence gave a nod to David.

David sat in the car. She turned to face Kris, "Is there no chance of meeting again? I can't hara.s.s my dad again to pester your dad."

Sky pursed her lips to control her laughter as she didn't know that part.

He thought she would reject and spoke again in seriousness, "I can cook for you in your home or in your office or in my office or at my parent's place." He was smart enough to skip his private villa on the list.

Sky started laughing. "You are too smart for me to handle."

Kris smiled taking her seriously, "Thank you for the compliment. I will be a little dumb next time. Is it a yes then?"

Sky hummed as she thought, "Mmm, I can try your cooking skills." She waved her hand and sat in the car.

She didn't accept but she sounded like one before he could continue she left. Even though she would love to eat tasty food, she wasn't one to agree because of it. Kris was too late to a.n.a.lyze it.

He remembered he didn't ask her contact details. Even though it wasn't difficult to get it, he didn't want to use those methods. But limousine had left.

His father had left first, his Porsche arrived. He took the driver seat and left. Arlo and Ryan looked at each other and hopped on their Lamborghini and left the Luxury Empire.

When Arlo received the information that Sky and David were having dinner with Kris and his father, he canceled the meeting he was going to attend and went to Luxury Empire. Ryan felt something was wrong and went with him.
