"Ghost? Really? Don't tell me it became my nickname?" Linri answered sarcastically not bothered by him and started to inspect him.

He couldn't see much of his face but he had long bangs black in colour and brown eyes. He was the same age as him but he looked much younger. Maybe it was because of his semi-awakening but whatever. He was toned, he wasn't covered in muscles but it didn't look like he didn't work out either. Since he was an ex-soldier he should have much more muscles or maybe this was the body build of Asians? Nah that sounded racist so it was most likely he is still in the age that his body develops so he doesn't have as much muscle as he should have.

"What? Didn't like it?" Hayato sounded just as sarcastic which surprised Linri. He was expecting him to be all business and start shouting where is six. That was weird?

"Can't really say I am a fan. Also couldn't help but be surprised about you now that we have met for real." Just as Linri finished the waitress has arrived and gave him his pint.

"You want one?" Linri asked Hayato out of courtesy.

"No, can't really say I am a fan of beer. Also, I am just as surprised as you are. You look different from your pictures."

"I get that a lot."

"So let's hear it. That business deal of yours."

"Nothing serious. We are just gonna break into a secret government facility that no one knows about, rescue the test subject, destroy the doc.u.ments after you copy them of course and finally smuggle him out of the country and s.h.i.+p him to Hanawa. Simple enough ain't it?" Linri sounded so casual that if an onlooker saw it they would think that he was talking about soccer or something. Hayato, however, inhaled deeply.

"I take it that you are not exactly joking right? Let me warn you beforehand I am not exactly good with jokes and I might do something unbecoming of me if I find out that you are wasting my time." Hayato seemed like he could jump at Linri at any time which seemed kinda reasonable. After all, he was talking about breaking into a government facility guarded by who knows how many guards.

"What? Don't tell me that you were expecting the doc.u.ments fall out of the sky? Of course, we are gonna steal them but I need help with the logistics and the hacking stuff that's where you come in."

"I'm leaving." Hayato was about to get up but he was stopped by Linri. Still, he considered himself lucky as Hayato showed the common decency of not punching then and there. Though if he did it was obvious Linri would beat the s.h.i.+t out of him but he would have to use his powers and compared to nan.o.bots his ice powers were not subtle at all so he would rather not do that.

"Now now before you leave let's chat a little. After all, you came all this way and you wouldn't want to leave empty-handed now, would you? Even if I can't convince you maybe you might learn something about your so-called 'Ghost'" It seemed like his words were effective as Hayato stopped but he didn't say anything which Linri took as his cue to start his presentation.

"I know it is out of the left field but let me ask you a question; Do you believe in G.o.d?" Hayato seemed confused about the question.

"What does that have to do with anything?" Seeing this question Linri smiled a little and took a big sip from his pint. He was about to start his con.

"It has a lot to do with it. Now answer my question and then I will start telling you a little story."

"No, and if I were you I would hurry with each second my interest in you is waning and I start to think you are nothing more than a lunatic."

"Aww don't be like that you are hurting my feelings. Anyway just like you, I didn't believe in G.o.d either at least till a month ago. I am a.s.suming you checked everything about me so you should know about my family trip to Forest of Rundabar. You see back then I had a little accident. I was out exploring the forest and got lost. I know it sounds idiotic but I was bored and had nothing better to do. So when I was trying to find my way back home I fell into a pit that leads into an ancient temple. I was stuck there for 4 whole days without any water or food. I couldn't get out and was about to die. There was nothing I could do and I was about to go crazy. That was when I met G.o.d, 2 of them in fact. They were the ancient Togk G.o.ds."

"Okay that was interesting but I still don't see the point. For all we know, they might have been hallucinations you saw due to lack of hydration."

Seeing Hayato like that Linri knew he got his attention. Everything seemed to be going according to plan. So in order to keep it that way he decided to make a little magic show. He made a hush sound with his left hand while with his right he created a little ice cube in front of Hayato and put it in his beer. Hayato's Jaw dropped, according to his findings Linri was not supposed to have any kind of connection to the supernatural world. He had some unknown connections to the Harclaw clan but they were Werewolves they weren't supposed to be able to use magic. It was illogical.

"Well, I am hoping this is proof enough that they were not hallucinations as they were the ones who bestowed upon me these abilities. That was not all they did though. They also showed me a vision of the future."
