“Whom did you sell the shares to?”

Jing Yichen looked shockingly scary. He had more or less guessed who the buyer was, but he still wanted to hear it from Jing Yiran’s mouth.

The shares of a company should never be transferred at one’s whim, otherwise the company would become weak. More importantly, the shares should never be transferred to a rival, otherwise a catastrophe would arise!

But as long as he could annoy Jing Yichen, he would bear any amount of pain.

Seeing him stay silent, Jing Zhongxiu tried hard to press down his anger and said, “To Family Ji’s Enterprise. Now Ji had 20% shares of Jingsheng Enterprise. They are the second biggest shareholders after you.”

Jing Yichen’s heart stopped beating for a moment.

He had just won a battle against Ji Bo by instigating the heirs of Family Ji, making Ji Minjue sign a contract that put them in a disadvantageous position. But now, the situation had been overturned.

So Family Ji had 20% shares of Jingsheng?

What did that mean?

It meant that 1/5th of the business empire that generations of Family Jing had built painstakingly, had been given to Family Ji on a platter.

From that moment on, there would be 20 million yuan given to Family Jing for every 100 million which Jing Yichen earned.

Now that Ji Bo had gotten hold of the shares, he would not let it go easily. Family Jing would be restrained by Family Ji’s Enterprise to a large extent.

Jing Yichen withdrew his foot slowly from Jing Yiran’s stomach.

He was worried that he would stomp Jing Yiran to death if he lost control.

“Jing Yiran, you have just given a wonderful wedding present to Ji Bo!” Jing Yichen said in such a menacing way that Mo Lan s.h.i.+vered. For a moment, she forgot to help Jing Yiran get up.

“Ji Bo is very greedy indeed! But was it so easy for him to get 20% shares of Jingsheng? Family Ji does not have so much capital to buy those many shares.”

Jing Yichen looked down at Jing Yiran from a commanding point of view. His eyes displayed his killing intent.

Jing Zhongxiu also gazed at Jing Yiran in an indifferent way.

He had just gotten to know that Jing Yiran sold the shares to Family Ji through the highly placed spy whom he had planted in Family Ji. In order to get this information out, the spy’s cover was blown now. He would not be able to pa.s.s on any confidential information to him in the future.

A lot of time and energy would be needed to cultivate a new spy.

All Jing Zhongxiu knew was that Jing Yiran sold the shares to Family Ji’s Enterprise. He had no idea about how much Family Ji’s Enterprise had paid him for the shares.

The man who had checked Jing Yiran’s account informed him that he didn’t have any record of receiving large amounts of money.

Jing Yiran’s expression didn’t change at all. He spat out a mouthful of blood, and refused to say a word.

Mo Lan got really concerned seeing his condition. She didn’t care how much money Jing Yiran got by selling the shares. After all, Family Jing had enough money. What she cared about was that her grandson was at the verge of dying.

“Butler, get the doctor. What are you waiting for? We are not paying you to watch the show!”

The Butler bowed to her courteously and said in a low voice, “The doctor is on the way.”

For whatever reason, Jing Yiran needed to stay alive and the Butler knew that well. Jing Zhongxiu would not want the Second Master to die no matter how irritated he was.

The doctor came with two a.s.sistants within no time. They carried Jing Yiran away on a stretcher.

Jing Yiran would surely die due to intensive bleeding if he was not treated at the moment.

Mo Lan left with Jing Yiran and doctor, leaving Jing Zhongxiu and Jing Yichen alone in the living room.

“I will handle this, Dad.”

After a long moment of silence, Jing Yichen spoke calmly.

He had not run into such a complicated issue in a very long time. On most occasions, he was the winner because his rivals were many levels below his capabilities. Even Ji Bo, the publicly acknowledged young intellectual, was not a match against him.

But this didn’t scare Jing Yichen. Instead, his mind was already racing, thinking about the countermeasures calmly after the moment of rage had pa.s.sed.

That was how Jing Zhongxiu had trained him. He was always full of confidence and never bowed down in front of difficulties. He never said “never”.

Jing Zhongxiu also calmed down. No one could change his decision. Jing Yiran was definitely going to be thrown out of Family Jing!

He felt a bit gratified seeing Jing Yichen in front of him.

His two sons were so different from each other, with Jing Yiran fooling around and splurging and Jing Yichen inheriting all of his excellent genes. Jing Zhongxiu had no qualms about a.s.signing the problem to Jing Yichen.

“Okay, I will leave it to you. If you need anything from me, tell me at any point. Your grandpa and I will stand behind you.”

Jing Yiche nodded in composure. “I can handle this alone. No need to trouble you and grandpa.”
