"Kill me if you don't see your Dad's soul at the end of this day," I said as I stood up.
I was about to leave when I remembered something. It's been awhile since this presence appeared after Scarlette came.
I smirked. I held her chin up with my right hand and I moved closer. I closed my eyes as I kissed her. It was just a short kiss before leaving her more shocked.
It's just few meters from the cafe when someone grabbed my collar and punched me on the face. I laughed because I was successful on p.i.s.sing him.
"d.a.m.n! Kiss stealer!" the man shouted. "What's funny?" He's in rage on killing me, huh?
"Relax, Bro. It's just a kiss and I have no effect on her. I didn't take her virginity, okay?" I sighed as I shook my head. "You know what? Just stop. I've got so many things to do. I'm going to save her father."
"And do you think we believe that?"
"And am I pleasing you all to believe me?" I countered. "I don't care if you believe me or not. I'm going to do this because I want to end my father's evilness."
He didn't react. I was about to disappear in his sight when he suddenly grabbed my right arm and harshly bit it. He sipped my blood!
"f.u.c.k!" I closed my eyes because of pain. "What's with the sudden bite?!"
"For me to be able to enter this h.e.l.l." He smirked. "Your blood is sweet, by the way."
And yes, I just realized that we're in the Underworld already. I just accidentally brought him with me.
I glared at him after seeing his saliva on my wound. I wiped it at the right side of my black pants.
"So, you'll save him, too," I stated.
"Yeah, and, Scarlette's right, you seem to be trusted," he told with a small smile. "And I want to get rid of her sad face."
I chuckled. "She's really your girl."
"But we're not dating. She hates me right now—"
I shushed him as I pulled him in one corner to hide when I felt some demons near us.
"Let's get serious now," I whispered.
"What's the plan?" he asked.
"We're in the northern part of this world and Max's prison is in the southern part. We'll go there using my portal. We just need to kill the demons there who are guarding him. And we'll use my blood to destroy the crystallize cage."
"Seems simple," he commented.
"It's not. Demons' energy level is ten times more powerful than what you've encountered before. h.e.l.l is their source of energy. That's the explanation why," I told him.
He just nodded. "Let's go then."
I opened the portal in front of us and got in. It brought us in front of the room where he was imprisoned for several years.
We readied ourselves before we got out. As expected, they're shocked to see me with a stranger.
"Why you are with him, Master?" the two demons in front of me asked. They're larger than the normal one and they also wore pure metal gear with huge axes as their weapons. "G.o.d Durlen must know about this."
When I felt the deadly liquid came out from my palms, I swiftly brushed it on their foreheads and boom, they got knocked down. Dead in a snap.
"As if you could report when you're dead," I said at them.
"More demons are coming," Asher hissed.
Uh, maybe, these demons' fall made a loud thud.
"Can you take all of them down?" I asked as I looked at the three hallways from different directions simultaneously.
"I'll try. Just do your business."
I nodded before I opened the iron double door and entered. At the center of the small room, the crystallized cage was placed.
The man inside it looked at me as I walked closer. He's wearing all white and he's glowing. He still looked the same like the last time he left Earth.
"Who are you?" he asked in a deep voice.
I gave him a feeble smile.
"Nel Adriano, son of that devil Durlen," I introduced myself.
"What are you doing here?" He stood up.
"Don't worry, Sir. I'll set you free. At the end of this day, you will see your beloved family."
He remained silent.
I took out the small knife from the right pocket of my pants and cut the skin near my wrist. I let my blood dripped on the walls of the cage.
"Why are you doing this?"
I smiled at him. I want to tell that I was the one who killed him before but I just kept it to myself.
"I want to end my father's darkness."
Every drop had an effect. The cage got cracks and after few seconds, it exploded and disappeared.
"Come on, Sir. Let's get out of here." He seemed to be weak to run so, I held his hand and supported him. "We don't have enough time."
Exactly, Asher rushed in and closed the door. He's breathing heavily and full of sweats. His clothes were stained with lots of blood.
"I can't handle them anymore!" he told.
I immediately raised my hand towards the wall. A portal appeared.
"Get inside."
The two of them ran inside the portal. I was about to enter too when I felt a sharp thing was suddenly stabbed in my back.
"f.u.c.k it!"
Max and Asher looked at me and they're also surprised. They tried to go back to help me but I waved my hand dismissively.
"But—"
I closed the portal and made it disappeared.
"Sorry for killing you in the past, Mister Max. And Asher, good luck, Bro." I gave them a sad smile even they couldn't see me anymore. "The war is going to start. Go back to Hetarnia," I whispered.
I couldn't move.
"How could you betray me, my son?" Dad asked from behind. He's mad. I know. And it hurts for me.
"Dad, your evilness sucks." My mouth tasted rust because of my blood.
I smirked to what Asher said earlier. He said that my blood tasted sweet but it's not true.
"You're now playing hero, huh?"
"Why? Am I not?"
"You're still evil, son."
The memories flashed again when he ordered the young me to kill lots of people.
I gulped. "But not as evil as you are."
"Hi, Half-Bro!" Rhode—who's smiling widely—appeared in front of me.
"H-help me, R-rhode . . . "
"Sure." She took the knife that was placed at the side of her waist.
"UGH!" She stabbed it in my chest.
"Sorry," she uttered as she laughed like an idiot.
I glared at her. "d.a.m.n you, Rhode . . . " I thought she wouldn't mind me being dead . . .
'Sorry, Half-Bro. We feel the same. I also want to betray him but I have no choice. I don't have the courage to do so. I still want to live.'
Before my vision became blurry, I saw tears fell from her eyes. Gone was the smile on her face.
'Take their side. You'll be saved.'
