Rhode and I began suffocating because of the lack of oxygen inside. I could feel my whole body heated.
"Do something!" Rhode shouted as she coughed.
I just rolled my eyes. Duh! We're both trapped! Did she think that I have an idea to do for us to get out of here? Duh again!
"Stop rolling your eyes and do something! Please." Now, she looked like a lost puppy.
I just sighed and pressed my eyes close. "Sorry . . . but I can't do anything," I uttered.
I guess, I'm accepting the fact that we'll be barbecued.
ASHER'S POINT OF VIEW
Even I was sick, I quickly got up from my bed and drove my car fast.
"d.a.m.n it!" If she didn't do the right thing, she'll be killed by her own flame!
When I got down from my car, somebody called my name. Maybe, he's one of my cla.s.smates.
"What?" I asked, a bit irritated.
"Your girlfriend is being swallowed by fire in the soccer field!"
My eyes automatically widened. "She's just my friend!"
He frowned. "It's the same. Come on now. Follow me!" He started to run that's why I followed him.
My speed became faster when I saw the burning area of the field. There were students and teachers there with pails full of water, trying to remove the fire.
Idiots! No ordinary human can remove a demiG.o.d's flame!
"More water!"
"But, Ma'am, the fire is getting bigger!"
"Looks like water has no effect on it!"
I just ignored them and focused my eyes in the fire. I used my special abilities to clearly see her.
She's sitting down on the surface covered with Bermuda gra.s.s, coughing. She's also with someone who's shouting at her while coughing, too.
"Do something!" the girl said, but Scarlette just rolled her eyes in response.
What a stupid girl. She can still roll her eyes in the middle of danger.
"Scarlette . . . " I whispered. She stopped coughing and looked around them. Her forehead creased. Probably, she's thinking if she's hallucinating or what. "Scarlette . . . " I whispered again.
"Who's that?" she finally asked.
"It's No One. Listen to me. Get yourself relax," I instructed.
"Dumb! How am I supposed to relax in this situation?!" she shouted.
"Get yourself relax and the fire will gone. Trust me."
She breathed deeply and slowly closed her eyes. I took a step backwards when the fire slowly faded until it's gone.
She did it.
The teachers and students who were there were shocked by what happened but me, I was amazed. I was amazed of her power.
The girl that she's with, fainted but her, she's still there, sitting while her eyes closed. I thought that she would stand up and shout 'What the h.e.l.l happened?!' but . . . what the h.e.l.l?! She fainted, too!
I sighed. Friend's duties again.

SCARLETTE'S POINT OF VIEW
When I woke up, white was the only one I could see. I felt my body lying on a soft bed comfortably.
Where am I?
All I could see was white, all white.
What the h.e.l.l?! Am I in heaven?!
"Oh, you're awake. How are you?"
I quickly sat and covered my face with the white blanket. Oh no! She's getting closer!
"Don't get near me, you demon!" I shouted.
Yeah, a demon . . . in heaven. She's wearing a black sleeveless dress!
"Come on, Dear. This is t.i.ta Wart, Asher's Mom. Remember?" she said as she chuckled.
I slowly pulled the blanket down and stared at her face.
It's really her. Uh, stupid me.
I gave her an awkward smile. "Sorry, t.i.ta. I thought, I was in heaven already."
She laughed like it's the funniest thing she heard. "I'm a beautiful demon then," she uttered.
I just looked around. The room was not so big and empty. All I could see was the air-conditioner near beside me and the bed where I was sitting.
"What happened, t.i.ta? How did I get here? Did I faint?" I continuously asked.
"Calm down, Dear." She sat beside me.
I completely remember what happened to me earlier! The fire! Rhode! The whisper! The fire that slowly faded! But I don't remember that I fainted!
"t.i.ta, the fire! It faded slowly but I didn't saw any burned marks on the gra.s.s around us!" I shouted.
"There are, Scarlette. Maybe, you're just mistaken. Calm down." t.i.ta held my shoulders and pushed me to lay down again.
I just inhaled and exhaled to calm myself. I pressed my eyes close.
Yeah, maybe, I was just mistaken. Of course, there would be burned marks if there was fire.
I heard the door opened and footsteps walked toward us.
"Is she awake?" It was Asher who asked.
"Yes, and I think . . . she's hallucinating before she fainted," t.i.ta said in a low voice, being careful for me not to hear it but she failed.
Yeah, maybe, I hallucinated. Maybe, because of the fire and panic.
I opened my eyes and looked at them straightly. "How did I get here?" I asked for the second time.
Asher frowned. "I lifted you up. That's why my arms are aching until now." He ma.s.saged his arms gently.
I immediately sat and gave him a glare. "Did you say that I'm heavy?!"
"No . . . but that's what I meant," he answered while smiling sweetly.
My forehead automatically wrinkled when I remembered something. "Hey. t.i.ta told me that you're sick. How did youー"
"My cla.s.smate called me so as a friend, I came here immediately," he cut me out, emphasizing the word 'friend'.
The fire earlier came into my mind again.
How the h.e.l.l it appeared and faded just like that?
"Scarlette . . . "
And that whisper . . . how come I heard it in the middle of shouts and noises?

SOMEONE'S POINT OF VIEW
After I got home from that hot disaster, I ran to Dad's room.
"Dad!" I called him that made him faced me. Like always, he's wearing his black ugly cloak that I found so creepy when matched with his pale skin.
"What's the result of your a.s.signment?" he asked.
I frowned. "Dad, will you please say 'hi'ーat leastーbefore asking?"
He gave me a sharp look. "I'm not in the mood to greet anybody so ANSWER MY QUESTION NOW!" he shouted as he stood up from his black throne.
In a split of second, the chandelier that was in the ceiling fell exactly in front of me. It shattered into pieces.
I pouted my lips before returning my sight to him. "Dad, it's antique and expensive! And you didn't know how it's hard for me to bring it here in Underworld!" I said with sadness in my eyes. "And you didn't know howー"
"ANSWER MY QUESTION NOW!"
I frowned again.
He's the worst father I've met in my whole life. Promise.
"Alright. But, will you please say 'thank you' after?"
He gritted his teeth even more. "JUST ANSWER MY QUESTION NOW!"
I raised my both hands in surrender. "Okay!" I secretly rolled my eyes. "Yeah, you're right. She's a demiG.o.d. She created a ring of fire."
"Did she know that she's a demiG.o.d?"
I shook my head. "No. From how she looked like awhile ago, she didn't know where the fire came from."
My father fell into a deep thought.
But, there's something strange happened to Scarlette. All of sudden, she acted like she's talking to somebody that she couldn't see. Uh, maybe, she just hallucinated.
I looked at Dad, deciding if I was going to tell him about it but I didn't at last.
He sat on his throne again. "Watch after her and tell me if she already knows. You may now go."
"No 'thank you' from you, Dad?" I asked unbelievably. "I nearly get killed earlier," I told him, which was true.
His eyes narrowed into slits. "Fine. Thank you, my daughter."
I went out while smiling widely.
Even it's not from his heart, at least, I know that he appreciates my hard works as his daughter.
