Complex Romance 36 Everything Was Over

After a night's sleep, Teresa still did not look good. Her mind was in a mess, her face looked so gloomy, she was completely different from her real self.

Each time she thought about what had happened last night, she would feel guilty and her mind would be in a mess, she did know what to do. Although she did not do wrong, she still felt like she had really done something wrong.

After thinking for a while, she decided to call up Jane and Zoey to tell them what had happened and ask for their advice.

"What?! Is he crazy? What was he thinking?" Said Zoey.

"At least you are safe, luckily you weren't alone with him." Jane said as she continued, "Teresa, I think you should not keep contact with him anymore. Stay away from him."

"Yup, I agree with Jane. You shouldn't care about him anymore. Just treat him like a stranger and ignore him. If you can, cut ties with him."

After keeping quiet for a while Teresa said, "I know you guys will surely be angry at me after I say this... But I really feel guilty about what had happened... It just feels like I did something wrong... My mind is in a mess right now, I can't think straight..."

"What the h.e.l.l are you thinking girl? You did nothing wrong, absolutely nothing." Said Jane angrily as she continued, "Teresa, to tell you the truth, I'm sick of you feeling guilty about every single thing that has happened between the two of you. In a nice way, I could say you are too kind but in bad way, I could say that you are stupid. He is the one that has been hurting you all along, but you still feel guilty. What logic is that? You need to think this clearly. You did nothing wrong, so there is no need for you to feel guilty, in fact, you should actually be angry! You can't always make yourself miserable when you yourself did nothing wrong!"

After hearing that, Teresa did not talk back and just kept quiet as she a.n.a.lyzed what her best friend had said. It looked like a big sister lecturing her younger sister.

"What Jane said is totally true. Teresa, you need to change this att.i.tude of yours. You need to harden up your heart. And you really did nothing wrong, all you did was just being honest in telling him your true feelings, and that was the right thing to do. Maybe he just acted that way just to gain your pity so that you would care about him again. So you mustn't feel that way. Keep yourself together."

After listening to what her friends had said to her, she felt like a huge weight was taken out of her. She felt relief and at the same time she felt that she was so blessed to have such good friends at her side.

"I know what to do already. Thank you guys, thank you for always helping me and advising me. You guys really helped me clear my mind. I will surely change that att.i.tude of mine."

"No problem. That's what friends are for."

"You are welcome. If you still feel guilty next time, I will surely hit that head of yours to wake you up, you hear me?" Said Jane.

"Yes boss." Teresa replied as she laughed

The girls continued their conversation as they discussed the places that they wanted to go on their graduation trip.

Teresa was back to being the happy and cheerful girl. She finally thought to herself that everything was over.

Harry on the other hand was still worried about Teresa, he wanted to text her to ask whether she was okay or not, but he did not as he wanted to give her s.p.a.ce so that he would not annoy her. Hence, he planned to buy some desserts for her and send it over to her house to make her feel better. To him, all he wanted was for Teresa to be always happy, he doesn't ever mind if he can't be together with her. Knowing that she is always safe and happy was already enough for him. And that was the huge difference between him and John.
