Complex Romance 37 Family

Soon, the day that they waited for had arrived, it was the first day of their trip to Eagle Island. The six of them gathered at the jetty before boarding the s.h.i.+p. Teresa and the girls were very excited as they reached the meeting place 30 minutes earlier, while the boys only came in the nick of time.

"Have you bought the tickets?" Asked Harry as tickets were only sold on the counter at the jetty.

"Yup, I got them already just when I reached." Teresa replied as she gave out the tickets randomly.

"The boarding time is at 8.30am, we still have half an hour's time, should we find a place to sit?"

"Ya, let's sit nearer to the boarding gate."

After boarding the s.h.i.+p, the girls sat in a row in front of the boys as they were chatting about how much clothing they brought with them. While the boys slept just after sitting on their seats as they were very sleepy.

The journey to reach Eagle Island was one and a half hours. After one hour's time, the boys woke up and found out that the girls were sleeping too.

Bob being the mischievous boy, took out his phone to snap pictures of the girl's sleeping face.

Just as he was about to take a picture, Teresa woke up and saw what he wanted to do. Bob quickly retreated and kept his phone inside his pocket.

"What did you do?" Asked Teresa in a suspicious tone.

"Nothing. I didn't do anything."

"Oh really? Then why did you keep your phone suddenly when you saw me wake up?"

"No, that was just your imagination."

"Well, you better not do anything mischievous, cause if you did, I will make you regret it." Said Teresa in a cunning tone.

Harry and William on the other hand were looking away and holding back their laughter. Seeing the way how Teresa was talking to Bob was like watching a Fox was treating a sheep. But in this case the Fox was a tiny fox and the sheep was a fat sheep as Bob was almost 3 times Teresa's size.

When they reached Eagle Island, they walked to the huge replica of an eagle to take a group photo. The weather was burning hot, everyone was sweating.

After taking the photo, Zoey said she wanted to take another one because the angle of the photo wasn't nice. Hence, William asked a stranger which was standing at the side to help them take the group photo.

After taking the photo, they thanked the stranger. Everyone was so annoyed at the hot weather, they were sweating so much, even Bob's cloths was wet. They quickly went to a place with shade to cool down as they waited for a taxi to take them to their accommodation.

The girls were in charge of the accommodation. They booked a unit with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen.

One of the bedrooms had 2 queen size beds while the other had only one queen size bed with a single bed. The unit was booked especially for 7 people because John was supposed to join them initially.

However, now there were just 6 of them so the girls decided to take the bigger room.

"Hey, that's not fair, the bigger room was ours initially, why are you taking it now?" William complained.

"Cause we are girls, did you know girls need more s.p.a.ce?" Zoey talked back.

"But can't you see Bob is with us, he is so much bigger than you. He needs way more s.p.a.ce then you." As William said this, he felt that there was someone eyeing him.

Just as he turned back to look, Bob came up to him and grabbed him saying, "Who did you say is so much bigger?"

Everyone started to laugh as William apologized. They were having so much fun just being around each other, chatting, playing and joking around.

Teresa thought to herself, "This trip would surely be an unforgettable trip for me."

It was already in the afternoon, they decided to go out for lunch and do some grocery shopping as they were planning to do barbecue for dinner as they had a kitchen for them to do some cooking.

Everyone was in a great mood, there were no negative thoughts or awkwardness between them. They treated each other as close friends, or maybe even more closer, like a family.
