The commander knew very well what that meant.

He only had this one chance. If he didn’t seize this opportunity to catch or kill the Boogeyman, their team wouldn’t be able to escape death when they returned.

The Elder couldn’t give them several months to wait for the Boogeyman to appear again.

When Luke had been fighting the criminals, it felt like things were going to plan, but the commander had been uneasy.

The red b.u.t.ton was a detonator to trigger the explosives on the dead criminals.

These explosives looked like small black circles worn by the criminals. Luke wasn’t familiar with them, and they had been concealed very well, so he hadn’t noticed them earlier.

Now that they had exploded, the power was truly astonis.h.i.+ng.

The function of the green b.u.t.ton was even simpler: to detonate every bomb the criminals were carrying, including the largest one in the command van.
