My Fresh start ain't 'bout starting wholly afresh but there are things which I wouldn't like to include in my today's list. I looked out of the window, taking in the beautiful views as the car moves pa.s.s people on the streets.
Brighton High is a little far from home, but this unexpected long drive is now giving me stinge feelings at the pit of my stomach. If it were to be me driving, it won't take up to 30 minutes to reach there regardless of the traffics but now it wasn't me and the driver which was Magritte is making this whole drive to be a prolonged unending drive.
I don't like schools to be closer to our house because, when schools are close to your house, that would be the perfect reason for teachers to always go straight to report on you instead of phone calls. Me? My previous school had it rough when I was there. That was why I accepted to study here after many flips and researches. I finally chose the best among all like dad would say.
I heavied a long sigh as Magritte finally parked inside the big school "Lara, call me when you're done". Magritte smile as she hands over my backpack.
"For what?" I asked her confused, not sure what she meant by that.
"To come pick you up? After lesson". She smiled again... With her eyes raised. One thing about Magritte was her beautiful smiles, she isn't the kind that always gets triggered over stuff like Becca's nanny, Lauren who used to wipe her youngest sisters when everybody was away.
"Nah! Don't, will find my way home". I waved at her walking away.
"Lara?". She called. I turned to her
"Don't worry Miss". I said waving for her to go already. She should have figured The reason I asked her to drive me to school was for her to drive the car back home so I could take the bus with Clara. This will also be my first time of using a school bus for the first time in my life.
