Isabel - The Lightning Princess 14 Gandera 5 : Too Much To Take In

Claudius smiles and he says some magic words and brought out a magic orb and put it on top his staff.

"No, master's ultimate technique for sealing demons into the orb".

"No human or demon can escape it. I would seal you in and let's see if she doesn't surrender to me... Hahahahahahhahahha... "he said with an evil laughter and pointed the orb at Axel.

"Nooooooooo... " with tears in her eyes, she used her last power and appeared in front of Axel hugging him as the dark energy from the orb sucked them in.

"Nooooooooooo... Isabella" he quickly throws the orb on the floor, buy it was too late, it had sucked them in...

She gets up screaming "Nooooooooooooooo..."

She was awake, with tears flowing down her face, she was crying in her dream. She had lost her parents. She was in pain, she cried and screamed and cried for a long time before stopping.

Then she looked at her surroundings, she was in an open piece of land, with trees around. No one seemed to be in the area except her.

Slowly taking in her surrounding, "I'm in Gandera, wait mother... " she cries as she recalls what happened before she got here.

"This is too much to take in but you've got to be strong Isabel, you have a lot to do. Your people needs you, but where do I start from?".

She gets up, dusts her body and walked in the direction facing north.

They all drop through the portal and look around.

"Oh my goodness" Ariadna said with face full of shock.

"What has Gandera turned into" said Ariana.

"This is Gandera" Catherine said looking in bewilderment.

"From the looks of things and mother's shock, this is what is left of it at least" Jasper chimed in.

"Let's leave the open road first. Quickly rush into the trees" Ariana instructed.

They all hurried deep into the woods and hid there.

"How do we find Isabel mother?".

"With the portal spell, we shouldn't be far from her".

"But how do we know which direct to follow?" Catherine asked.

"I know a tracking spell".

They all turn their heads and look at Ariadna.

"What I learnt a few things from Elizabeth back then. It was helpful during training most times when Jamie would hide. It was just for finding him, didn't know I'll be needing it now".

"No wonder you always found dad".

"Yes, that's good, please perform it already, Isabel might be in danger for all we know".

"Easy there Jasper, take a chill pill. I know you're worried about her, we all are" Catherine told him.

"I'm sorry aunt Ariadna" he apologized.

"Its okay, do any of you have a possession of Isabel's here?" She asked looking at all of them.

"Well... " Catherine said looking at Jasper.

"Why are you looking at me?".

"You should have something".

"Me? Why me? What about you?".

"I don't have any thing".

"I don't have either".

"Must you always argue about the slightest thing?" Ariana asked them.

"Its her".

"Its him".

"We are going no where with this kids. Search yourselves" Ariadna suggested.

They do and Jasper found her bead she gifted to him in his pocket.

"You were saying? Isn't that her bead?" Catherine scoffed feeling happy she was right.

"Whatever" Jasper replies her as he handed over the bead to Ariadna.

The two ladies just smiled at the kids and giggled. Then Ariadna brings out a small pouch from her jacket and sprinkles some powdery substance on the bead and starts saying some spells. Soon the bead began to glow and the little chain on it began rolling and finally pointed north.

"North, we go, after we find her, we would look for the other guardians".

Just outside the woods, five soldiers seeming to be on patrols saw many footprints at the center of the road, but they couldn't see where the footprints came from, only another trail leading into the woods...

"Captain, these footprints doesn't show a trail from whence they came, just another trail into the woods".

The captain comes closer and insects, "true enough, if they came from the woods, them there would be a trail out and not end here. Its two things, either they appeared from somewhere and ran into the woods or they came from the woods and disappeared. If it is the latter, we can't find them, leaving only the former".

He gets up, "follow that trail" and they all followed it.
