The captain comes closer and inspects, "true enough, if they came from the woods, them there would be a trail out and not end here. Its two things, either they appeared from somewhere and ran into the woods or they came from the woods and disappeared. If it is the latter, we can't find them, leaving only the former".

He gets up, "follow that trail" and they all followed it.

Ariadna talks to them, ""North, we go, after we find her, we would look for the other guardians".

"Sounds like a plan already" Ariana said.

"I hope she's okay" Jasper whispered to himself but Catherine heard him.

"Halt there in the name of the King" a male voice said not too far from where they were.

"They've found us, run" Ariana gave the order and they all sprinted.

"'Chase after them, get them" the voice called again and all five soldiers began the pursuit.

As they continue running, trying to lose the soldiers, an arrow flew towards them, Ariana quickly pushed Jasper out of the way, as the arrow barely missed his face.

She turns and uses her telekinesis and directed the shot arrow back at the soldier, he couldn't dodge in time and it met his neck and he died. She turns back and kept on running.

"One down, four more to go" Ariana said.

"Watch out" Jasper quickly pushes Ariadna away, but the dagger was just an inch close to his chest when it stopped in mid air.

"Watch out too Jas" Ariana turns to face to soldiers as they kept on running, "you dare to throw a dagger at my son" she raised the dagger with her eyes and flings it at one of the soldiers. He fell down dead, she uses her mind and raises many fallen branches and threw them at the other three soldiers. They tried dodging them and some fell on them, halting their movements. Before they could recover from what happened, Ariana and the others have left.

Ariana and the others keep on running, then Ariadna stops abruptly.

"What is it Ariadna?" Ariana asked.

"Ari, we can keep on doing this, Isabel may be in danger".

"You're right, we stand and face them, we fight".

"Yes we fight, but not you two Catherine".

"What? Mother... " she cuts her short.

"I won't have that, Jasper take it" she hands over the bead that was still glowing to him, "take Catherine with you, it would lead you to Isabel, you must hurry".

"What about you two?" He asked his mother.

"We would distract them, get them off your trail, we do not want to lead them to Isabel do we?".

"No" Jasper and Catherine replied.

"Good, we need to finish them off, cover our tracks then... "

"How would you find us?" Catherine asked her mother.

"Tracking spell, when we've finished, Ariana and I would go find the other guardians, then catch up with you all. Also look for a change of clothes so you can blend in. After you've found Isabel you must go to the mountain of despair, there you would undergo the trials for the spirits to deem you worthy of becoming the next guardians. For now we would see if we can... "

"There they are, get them".

"Oh no, hurry, we'll hold them off" Ariana shouted at the children, before they ran, Ariadna hugged her daughter and Jasper dragged Catherine with him and ran away.

"They are escaping, get them" the captain said to one of the two soldiers with him.

"Oh no, you don't. You are going no where" Ariana focuses her mind and stones and big branches from the ground all raise up.

"Take cover, she would strike" they quickly hide behind the trees as she threw the branches and stones with her mind at them.

Then Ariadna and Ariana both dash towards the soldiers and began fighting with them.
