"Good".

"You should go back to bed Eli" Gregory said as he went to a.s.sist her.

"I would have been resting if not for all the yelling" she said with a smile.

"I'm sorry Elizabeth".

"It's okay. I know you are worried, I am too but I have faith in the children".

"Yes. Thanks" Jamie said with a smile.

Elizabeth smiled back and let Gregory take her back to her room.

In Gandera, Ariana and Ariadna took another direction from where the children took and made their way deeper into the woods.

"You look nervous Ari".

"What? No way".

"Ariana, you can't lie to me".

"You can erase memories but you can't read minds dear".

"Now that hurt".

"Didn't mean to... " she was cut short by Adriadna.

"Its okay. I know. So what's bothering you?" She asked as they made their way through the bushes.

"Well, we haven't seen our friends in eighteen years now. What if something happened, what if Claudius caught them? What is they are... "

"Don't say it because it is not true. They are alive. Even Claudius caught them, we would save them".

"We have been away for long, we don't know anything about here. For all we know that tyrant would have ruined Gandera".

"Hey, think positive, all we have to do is ask. And not nicely from the soldiers of course" she said with a smile on her face.

"Yeah... You're right. Do you know if Queen Isabella and King Axel are alive?".

"I do not know, but I doubt Claudius would kill the Queen, he might be holding the kind prisoner or... Well I do not want to think about them like that".

"I know, the queen wouldn't give up without a fight. Let's hurry, perhaps we can get enough information from our hideout".

"Yes, good idea".

So they hurried through the woods, running as fast as their legs could carry them.

Suddenly Ariana stops and pulls Ariadna by her hands backward. The next thing an arrow flew past them in the next second.

"That was close, thank you Ari".

"No problem".

"Is someone out there? Come out" Ariadna shouted.

"Ariadna wait, it wasn't shot by someone".

"What? Then how... ".

"It's a trap"Ariana said getting up as she moved closer to inspect the traps on the ground.

"A trap... "

"Yes, take a look" she raised a rope on the ground and gently moved forward lifting it up.

All of a sudden it stopped, she pulled on it and another arrow shot but she quickly used her telekinesis to redirect the arrow.

"What do you notice Ariadna?".

"It... It is still fresh a bit".

"Meaning, it was set a few months ago".

"People are living close by".

"You don't set traps, except you have something to hide or protect".

"Ari, the guardians. We are close to our hideout" Ariadna squealed.

"Shhhh, we have got to be careful. Let's go".

They hurried again, this time mire watchful about where they stepped on. Their legs. .h.i.t a few traps but luckily they dodged it.

Suddenly the wind became more powerful, throwing them back. Three arrows were shot close to their heads and they quickly jumped back up and took their fighting stance.

The next minute, a group of people wearing a cloth over their face, leaving just the eyes open appeared before them.

Before they knew what was happening, they were attacked and a fight ensued.

Ariadna who was slavery skilled in hand to hand and weapon combat, quickly beat on of the people, taking over the sword and began fighting.

Three of the people attacked Ariana, she quickly picked a stick and began fighting them.

From afar, one of the masked person threw a dagger at Ariadna, seeing this Ariana used her powers to stop the dagger midway and sent it back. It hit the person on his shoulder.

While she was distracted, another shot two arrows at her. She stopped the arrows and lifted the person in the air then threw the person far using her power.

"I've had enough of this" she concentrated and used her powers to lift all their weapons from their hands. Ariadna saw this and ran behind Ariana.

As she launched the weapons back at them, a voice rang out.

"Everyone stop" and all the weapons stopped midway.

It was the voice of a lady, before they knew what was happening, the people parted and a person dressed in black trousers, black long sleeved top with a black cloth tied around the nose and a long black haired tied in a pony tail came forth.

By now Ariana and Ariadna looked disheveled, with their hair scattered and covering most part of their faces.

"Who are you?" The voice asked.

"It doesn't matter, who are you and why did you attack us?".

"It matters if you want to leave here alive".

"Haha hah haha ahhaaa... " Ariana burst out laughing.

"What's so funny?".

"If we want to leave here with our lives huh. You do not seem to understand the situation here. I can kill all you men in one go".

"You are trespa.s.sing".

"I am pa.s.sing by".

"Now move before I lose my patience".

"Kill them" the voice said.

"You shouldn't have said that" Ariadna said as she took out a dagger from her back and a.s.sumed her fighting stance again.

"Let's see who dies. Bring it on".
