There was basically no chance of a normal person like him to make it alive in the wild. Furthermore he also didn't really have much knowledge about where these safe-zone or basically city unaffected by zombies are....

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh" Joy shouted out loud, roaring at the unfairness of life. Why did the G.o.d not bless these four people with brain!. His shout intermixed with the melody of the music, got silenced.
