Mr.Anderson was more worried, of Jeremy's social society,whether it could accept her and award her the respect she deserved,he was unable to keep some thoughts to himself so he unexpectedly asked.

"I know you are aware we are not from the same social cla.s.s,Henrietta will receive so much criticism from the society,how are you going to take care of that ?Are your parents aware of your marriage and are they supportive?"

"My father is aware of our marriage,he also invited you for a cup of coffee the coming weekend.My mother is not aware but dad will take care of that,about Henrietta not able to cope with my social cla.s.s, time will tell ,I'm certain she is above all the people of the so called social cla.s.s." He responded while handing over the presents he had bought to Mr. Anderson.

He was sure Henrietta wanted to spend some time with her parents,but it was not the right time so he stood and said. "We will be leaving now and about our marriage,due to security reasons,you are not to tell any living soul,I won't go into depth of the risks involved but keep what you know to yourselves'. Abruptly Henrietta sputtered out. "I will come back on Monday,for now I will be catching up with my parents." She said while looking at her parents for approval.Rose shook her head repeatedly and said. "You are now a married lady.According to our tradition after marriage when the daughter visits her parents for the first time,she can not spend a night in her parents house.Now that you are married,I will tell you all the do's and the don'ts in your marriage life in your next visit.

Henrietta was so disappointed,she accompanied Jeremy and they left together. "Were you trying to run away from your matrimonial home ? You did not even bid your husband goodbye.Can you respect this marriage or I'm expecting too much from you." The statement caught Henrietta off guard and she blurted out. " I told you last night ,I did not know I was to repeat myself this morning." Jeremy was truly agitated he leaned forward,looked straight into Henrietta's eyes and said. "Woman you are very rude,tame your tongue or I will do it for you,with that said he kissed her abruptly.

Henrietta pushed him hard,they were standing near a shallow open sewage trench and due to the slippery nature of the ground ,where Jeremy was standing he landed on the sewage trench.The children who were playing nearby burst into a snickering laughter,they all ran to the trench and surrounded Jeremy while sn.i.g.g.e.ring.Henrietta was awe struck,she immediately regretted her Impulsive action.Jeremy supported himself and he stood up ,his whole body was covered with the sewage.

He took his mobile phone out of his pocket and dialled Sozzy to arrange for him a clean set of clothes, soonest possible.Luckily ,Jeremy had undergone a military training and had experienced worst treatment.Without any word he hurriedly left the place with Henrietta following behind. "Jeremy please listen to me,I didn't mean to throw you into the filthy sewage,I'm truly sorry from the bottom of my heart." She remorsefully tried to plead for forgiveness but Jeremy continued walking with large strides leaving her behind.

Unfortunately Jeremy was not familiar with the route in the slums,so instead of him going outside the slum he was going back to where they had come from.Soon enough Henrietta realized Jeremy was heading back to her parents place,she was alarmed and shouted. "Why are you going back to my parents? " Jeremy didn't want to talk to her but since he desperately needed to get out of the slum area soonest possible,he blurted out. "Lead the way out of this place." She quickly ran a head of Jeremy and soon enough they were out of the Reed slums.
