Demon King App 11 Chapter 10

Ava is shocked at the sudden appearance of Bryson, being able to run pa.s.s the two of them without being detected until the last moment is a feat that Ava does not expect would come from a weak looking boy like him, this is the same sentiment that is currently running down the mind of her opponent, in fact the nurse lose her concentration far longer than Ava is.

Taking advantage of the nurse's shock, Ava kicks her in the stomach, because of the sudden attack, the nurse let go of her dagger and she is push backwards.

With the momentum turning in her favor, Ava performs a roundhouse kick, the impact sends the nurse inside one of the empty rooms breaking its door apart. Without even trying to pull the dagger stabbed in her hand, Ava activates acceleration magic and attempts to chase after Bryson, but when Ava came across the broken door, she saw in the corner of her vision the nurse inside the room, a magic circle in her hand aiming a spell at her.

A blast of high-pressured steam shot at Ava, she hastily deploys an anti-magic barrier, unfortunately, it is a little late and a puff of steam explode at Ava's left shoulder which push her body to the side and she crash into the door of what looks like a storage room.

Ava force her body to roll unto the ground to minimize the impact of her fall, when she attempt to stand, Ava saw her opponent right across the room activating another spell, clicking her tongue in impatience and irritation, Ava once again deploy an anti-magic barrier just in time to protect herself from the raging blast of flame coming at her.

Ava manage to protect herself from the flames, but in turn, the room she is in became engulf in flames, when Ava look around the storage room, she saw an oxygen tank in the corner of the room catching out flames, a bad premonition wash over her upon seeing that, and with haste, Ava abandon defense and activates acceleration magic attempting to get out of the room, but contrary to her expectation, the tank did not explode and instead, she is send flying into the window by a kick unto her stomach.

Ava crash into the window and she rolls into the hospital's courtyard, as Ava tries to stand the commotion intrigue the bystanders at the hospital and they get out of the building trying to take a glance of what was happening outside, the sight that greet them is Ava, with the dagger still stabbed in her left hand and the sleeve in the left shoulder of her suit burned along with the skin underneath.

One of the guards who came to respond to the commotion approach the wounded Ava, while Ava is pulling the dagger in her left hand, she saw the nurse inside the still burning storage room, she is dragging two unconscious guard with her, she throws the guards outside the window and come out of the courtyard herself.

When the guard notice the nurse, he turns into her. "WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" The guard ask the nurse with a confused and agitated voice while pointing a u003cmagi-gunu003e at her.

"Me? As you can see, I'm a nurse here and I'm trying to stop that woman from kidnaping one of our patients." The nurse said with an innocent smile.

The guard looks at the two-unconscious guard with worry and ask. "THOSE TWO ARE THE ONES WHO VOLUTEER TO CHECK WHAT WAS HAPPENING INSIDE, SO, WHY ARE YOU DRAGGING THEM JUST LIKE THAT?!"

"Don't worry they are just unconscious and I saved them from that woman."

The guard is still suspicious of the nurse so he looks back anxiously at Ava.

"!!" Ava tries to warn the guard but a u003cFire-blastu003e is already flying towards him, so Ava abandon the idea of warning him, instead, she activates acceleration magic and leap towards the guard saving him from being burned into crisp.

The bystanders saw all that happen before their eyes, this cause them to run back inside the hospital in panic while some froze in their place due to shock a fear.

While the saved guard is trying to stand and the people around are running in panic, Ava in a hurry stand back up and shout at the still confused guard.

"a.s.sIST ALL THE CIVILIANS AND GET THEM OUT OF HERE!"

After giving an instruction to the guard, Ava shot u003cwind-cutteru003e into the nurse and once again engage her in a melee combat.

The men in the parking lot are getting ready to get out of the hospital when a sound of something solid bas.h.i.+ng into a car, shattering its gla.s.s and activating its anti-theft alarm reach their ears. When they turn to look at what has happened, they saw one of their colleagues leaning in a deformed car unconscious and blood flowing out of his mouth.

Upon closer inspection they realize that the man is the one a.s.signed to finish off the boy who tries to get in their way. Having a bad premonition, the men look at the hospital's exit while getting ready for a fight.

Inside the dark hallway just a little past the broken sliding door are two fiery red eyes bearing down at them as if a predator who finally found its prey, they even swear that from the darkness, they saw a mouth curve in a devilish crescent moonlike smile.

This sight induced fear into the men's heart that they unconsciously shot magic into that fearsome sight, with a dreadful heart, the men stands in frozen in their place as they wait for the smoke to dissipate and confirm if they manage to kill the menace, unfortunately, before the smoke even vanish, a cold thunderous voice resound in their ears.

"THAT'S RUDE."

While s.h.i.+vering from fear and shock, the four men turn to look in their back, Infront of them is the boy, his hairs that should have been pure dark-blue, are now mix together with some silver strands of hair, while his calming sky-blue eyes are now turned into two fiery red eyes of a beast. The four men instinctively leap backwards after seeing this bizarre scene, unfortunately, one of them got caught and grab by the neck.

The boy lifts up the man as if he is as light as a feather, the man in the boy arms struggle to his hardest to free himself from the boy's grip. The man tries to activate a magic but he is met with a frightening heavy punch in his stomach which cause him to crumple his body even though he is being grab by the neck, after choking and convulsing multiple times, the man finally stopped moving and the boy let go of his neck letting the man's lifeless body fall into the ground.

The three men watch that scene unfold before their eyes while s.h.i.+vering from fear, their mind is screaming at them to run and scape from that place, but their body, stiffened from fear, refuse to listen to their call.

"W-who.... are...you?" One of the men ask.

Hearing that question, the boy shows a devilish smile. "Me? I AM THE DEMON KING."

The ruler of demons, the pinnacle of demonity, if not for the men's knowledge and the boy's appearance, the men would have believed it, but the ruler of demons, never mind coming in this city, it's a known fact that the Demon king never leaves his Kingdom.

"D-don't lie! T-that's impossible!" One of the men shouts like a mad man.

"Why is it, that no one believe me when I say that?" The boy looking tired, let out a heavy sigh.

Seeing the defenseless state of the boy, the crazed man attempts to shoot a magic against the him, but before he even activates it, the boy vanish and reappear in front of the crazed man, he grabs the crazed man's face and slam his head into the ground creating crater centering on the crazed man crushed head.

Seeing that brutality, another man let out a pitiful whimper while also trying to shoot magic into the boy, unfortunately, the boy's hand pierces his chest before he manages to release it. The man coughs out a mouthful of blood while looking at his chest in confusion, when the man's body lose its strength, the boy pulls his arms off the man's chest and kick the dead body away while blood is sprouting out of its chest.

"SO, YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE LEFT." The boy announces with a cold and terrifying voice.

The last of the five men fell down on his knees, with his eyes clouded from despair, he asks with a small voice. "Was that, magia blade? You cannot be just a simple boy if you have a lethal MSA like that."

When the boy heard that, he let out a maniacal laugh as if he saw the man as someone hilarious.

After his laughter died down, he speaks to the man. "Oh yeah, you modern guys categorize combat magic as lethal and non-lethal right?"

Pausing for a moment, the boy continues to speak as if mocking the kneeling man. "Since, you're gonna die anyway let me tell you a secret... When it comes to combat magic, there are no such thing as non-lethal, every combat magic can kill, it only depends on the user."

Hearing that, the man raises up his head, but before he even manages to express his shock, he felt something sharp hit his neck and his vision spun around before it became pitch black.
