I scratched my head as I sat around the small round table with the three other captains. My head ached as I watched them.

We have been discussing our future plans for over an hour. There are too many issues to tackle. Our food supply is running out along with our money. We are still weeks away from land, and even farther away from the Bermuda Triangle. I sighed. I wanted to go home so badly right now, and the Bermuda Triangle is my only ticket there.

"We could continue to ration the food but we will barely make it two weeks in. We are literally going to be starving after two weeks. The Carolinas are about three weeks away. If we don't find a solution soon we are going to revert to cannibalism."

The three captains stared at me in confusion at the word "cannibalism". I sighed and said.

"We are going to literally start eating each other."

The three captains' eyes widened as their faces turned solemn. This was a terrible situation that we needed to solve now.

"We have a lot of flour and water, can't we make something like bread?"

I shook my head at Weston's proposal.

"Our water is more important than the food. We can't mindlessly spend it like that."

That was when Francois said.

"Why don't we just loot another s.h.i.+p? We have no other choice."

"Absolutely not Francois! We are not going to steal other people's food! How are they going to live on after?"

"Relax Mila, we will nicely ask them for some at first. If they don't comply then we will just take it forcefully. Between the four of us, we have a chance of winning them over."

I sighed. All I knew how to do was wield a sword and a gun. My swordsmans.h.i.+p skills dulled in front of these three. Baron nodded as he said.

"I think that's a perfect idea. It's our only option after all. Unless you want to see the day where we start eating each other?"

I shook my head. Baron then leaned in and whispered.

"I wouldn't mind eating you after all Mila."

I pushed him away as I tried to control my flushed face. Jesus Christ this man was becoming shameless once more.

Honestly I hated the idea of stealing as it goes against my morals as a human being. But as I consider the option more and more, it seems like we have no other choice. I scratched my head once more.

"How are we going to find a s.h.i.+p to loot? No s.h.i.+ps come this route unless they are pirates such as ourselves or human traffickers. Both groups are dangerous to us."

"The most prominent group that we will encounter are probably the Spaniards. As their Queen has issued a decree providing monetary a.s.sistance to exploration. They are usually either bloodl.u.s.ting bandits or n.o.bles."

f.u.c.k. Since when did the blockhead Weston actually say something as intelligent as this. I gave him a thumbs up as he frowned.

Baron stood up as he said.

"Weston is right. Either way, those Spaniards are elite in their naval forces as well as swordsmans.h.i.+p. If we were to go against them it would be a bloodbath."

"If in the case we are actually encountering the Spaniards we can play a farce of some sorts."

I looked at Weston. What "farce" was he talking about? He smirked as he said.

"Most Spaniards are looking for special women. Our dear Mila here is quite beautiful. We can sell off the idea that if they give us food we can exchange Mila."

A second later Baron was choking Weston as he said.

"What is the meaning of this Weston? After so many minutes filled with your thinking, this is all your stupid mind can come up with?"

Weston chuckled nervously as he released himself from Baron's grasp.

"Calm down, the only reason I said this, is because of my confidence in Mila to pull this off."

"With that being said, let's go and find our target."

The other captains smiled with excitement. I smiled as well. For some reason I was getting swept along in the life of a Pirate. Despite how dangerous it was I was enjoying the thrill of it all.

I might just get hooked on to this feeling.
