She glared at the plate and huffed resignedly, F*ck manners! F*ck Etiquettes and f*ck her nanny lessons!

Su Qianwei looked at the enticing delights and bend her head, her hairs joined the search party for food too. She had to jerk her head from time to time to not let her hair fall in the food.

It was humiliating!

After a whole day of suffering, they were greasy and in a desperate need of a wash.

But G.o.d didn't save her from that crazy f*cker to die of starvation in the name of etiquettes and manners! So Su Qianwei shrugged off the fact!

After several failed attempt she finally caught two egg quarters in her mouth. The pepper and salt that was in the eggs made her nose itchy and she knew she was going to sneeze.

She at once turned her face away from her food, she couldn't afford to spoil the only fuel her body was receiving after a near-death experience!

Su Qianwei ate with the manners of a newly requited savage man but survival requires adaptions, Okay! Her whole mouth was smudged with sauces, food crumbs and dried egg yolk.

She looked like a five-year-old that had a battle with food and lost. Nowhere was the arrogant Su Qianwei who led the socialite circle with her words as commands.

If her nanny was looking at her from heaven, she was dying again of a heart arrest that was for sure.

Su Qainwei couldn't help but admire his skills. He was more than Okay and easily open a hotel of his own if the Yu's kicked him out for his shady heritage. h.e.l.l! She would sponsor him for the heavenly food he made.

After half hour of when Su Qianwei had satisfied her hunger, Yu w.a.n.g returned with several cute birds in a little cage, they were dinner. Poor birdies!

In his hands was also a paper bag which meant he also went to the city to get some stuff and then when he was coming back he would have picked them from the traps he had set on many parts of the forest, she ran into them in her search.

Su Qianwei glared at him hardened so he wasn't listening to all the profanities she had generously dished out for him?! Despicable man!

But it was useless to expect a gentlemanly behaviour from a man who lived his half-life in a freaking forest!

Yu w.a.n.g ignored her presence like she wasn't even there, collected all the dirty dishes in the sink and started to wash them.

Su Qianwei felt a little more mortified than she was already feeling. She wanted to offer to wash the dishes, she had never done any of that but it was no rocket science.

She could afford doing it but Yu w.a.n.g would a.s.sume she was a snake smiling to look innocent so she saved her breath.

He gave her a brief glance and turned to her again with a snap. His brows reached his hairline. Su Qainwei felt humiliated and averted her eyes to the floor.

Food was still smudged on her face, she must look disgusting but what could she do she was bound on the chair. She was bristling by the fact when she felt a wetness on her mouth.

Her face shot up to Yu w.a.n.g who was in front of her holding a wet cloth on her mouth. He dabbed it gently with concern like he was cleaning a baby's mouth, with tenderness and great care.

There was no disgust or taunt in his expressions; Not once did he make eye contact with her through the process, when he was done he turned around grabbed a dry tissue and wiped her face dry and turned back to his work.

She felt a little guilt for her previous judgement of him but stayed quite. This just proved beyond their t.i.tles as heirs, they were human with humanity beneath their cruel exteriors.

Only Lei Xinyi considered it though...

Yu w.a.n.g was setting all the spices and ingredients he had bought in their a.s.signed containers and that was the only sound that rung in the potent silence.

Su Qianwei looked out of the window, it was depressing how the things have progressed, Lei Xinyi was somewhere dead or close to death, all the rest heirs will be on the necks of one another if Lei Xinyi death is affirmed.

But one question was beating her head like wild drums.

"Why didn't you...kill me?" her voice was quiet, Yu w.a.n.g stiffened but didn't turn.

"I am not a murderer," his words were laced with sarcasm and disgust, "...Unlike you."

Su Qianwei felt like needles p.r.i.c.kling her eyes as she turned deep red. Her stomach was wailing its protest at the cruelty of his words.

Yes, she wanted to kill him but that was in self-defence! He had been the one to chase her first. She was not a murderer too but no matter how she wails her sorrow no wretched soul would ever put their fate in her!

"So you were chasing me to play monopoly with me?" The sarcasm in Su Qianwei voice was an evident ent.i.ty.

Yu w.a.n.g didn't reply. He pursed his lips and moved on to his routine.

He wants to end the game and the only way to do it is to end the players. It was frustrating and depressing!

Every day waiting for your death like your coffin was already prepared, always looking behind your shoulders, sleeping with your one eye open just so no one is there to put you in the coffin was frustrating, depressing and heartwrenching!

Lei Xinyi wanted to do the same years ago in the Lei's Head Quarter but the death of the last rightful heir's ten years old son changed everything. She couldn't kill him but his death killed a part of her.

He was innocent, defenceless, he couldn't even understand why he was killed.

Yu w.a.n.g wanted to end this misery named life. They weren't living lives, just breathing their impending fates. This life...you had all the money in life but no one to spend it on. You couldn't even have a family, bonds, emotions, once you are killed they would be left for mourning you.

All the luxuries paled, dulled, withered in the face of the ecstasy he could never have, the things he will never see.
