The Star In The Midnight Rain 21 Touch

From this chapter onwards we are heading back to Jen's (Chae-youngs) point of view.

After they took Sora away. My step-father came back in with my step-mother.

"It's annoying to see you every hour," She said.

"You met her?" asked my step-father.

"At the hospital, so I wouldn't be suspected," She said while smoking.

She came closer to me and smoked on my face.

I coughed.

"Just let her go," I told them.

They started laughing.

"Why should we listen to you," They said.

She then took out a baton and, started hitting me with it.

"Tell me, what is the last step?" She said.

"She won't stop until you tell her," He said.

I didn't talk. So back and forth they hit me with the baton.

Suddenly they hit my left side and, I blacked out.

When I woke up I was in a flower field. But this time it was the front yard of my old house. The house I was tested at.

I looked around, then I ran inside. I looked at the mirror, I was my young self again.

I walked to the living room and Min-Gyu was sitting there.

"Hey," I said.

No answer.

I then saw my mom who walked through me. Was I a ghost? Was I dead?

When I went to my room, I saw my young self crying.

I walked to her. She saw me but her eyes were glowing.

I went closer then I touched the tip of her index finger. I felt chills down my bones. It felt as if my body had changed completely.

There was a flash of light.

When I opened my eyes, I was back, but inside a tub.

I was breathing into a mask. I looked up to find an away to get out. I saw a away.

I caught my breath and took off the mask I put it on the door and, I twisted it until it opened.

When I got out Min-Gyu and Ji-Wook came toward me.

"You're really annoying me today," said Min-Gyu.

I then ran towards them and fought them.

I kicked Min-Gyu's then he tried to kick me, so I moved fast and kicked his leg instead. Then I turned and kicked his face. He fell and looked like he wouldn't be able to get up.

Then Ji-Wook came toward me. I straight up kicked his stomach, then I punched him until I had all the anger out.

I went towards Sora's tub. I opened it and, helped her out.

When she got out she slapped me.

"Next time tell me everything," She said.

I smiled at her and nodded.

We got ourselves towels and left that house. We managed to call Jin-Young and he picked us up.

"It's good that you guys are okay, everyone had been so worried," said Jin-Young inside the car.

I then thought to myself. If Ji-Wook wasn't the umbrella guy then who was. They sounded similar but he's voice was deeper.

I need to find him.

"Noona, are you okay? You look pale," He said.

"I am fine," I said with a smile.

How much longer was I going to smile like it was okay?

Then they dropped me off at home. I called Ka.s.sy and my friends and, let them know I was safe and, okay.

When I got inside, I quickly undressed and went into the shower. After I came out I felt someone looking at me. I looked around and there was a man next to my bedroom window.

I looked at him in horror.

"Who are you?" I said.

He opened his hood. When I saw his face he was the most handsome person I had ever seen. I got closer to him.

He was looking at me all stunned, like I was.

I then tripped and fell on him.

He smelled like expensive cologne and, cigarettes.

I looked at him closer.

"How long are you planning to look at me like that?" He said.

"Y-you sound like that man," I said.

"The man that gave me his umbrella," I said.

He looked at me weird.

He carried me and got up. He set me down.

"Do you need anything?" I said.

"Yeah kinda," He said.

I looked at him with a what is it look.

"Water," He said.

I sighed. I walked to the kitchen and, opened the fridge.

"AHHH," I screamed.

The c.o.c.kroach ran away.

I was shaking.

He came close to me and held my hand.

"Are you okay?" He said.

"I have a phobia of c.o.c.kroaches," I said.

He patted my head. I handed him water. As he drank it, I looked at his neck. I started blus.h.i.+ng.

"Anything else," I said.

He gestured no.

I was walking away when he pulled me.

"I wanna stay in contact with you," He said while blus.h.i.+ng.

"Umm sure," I said.

I gave him my number and he said, "By the way, I am not a creep who came here to have water."

"Then why are you here?" I asked.

"To protect you," He said with a smile. He then took off his jacket.

"Why do you mean by protecting me?" I asked him while following him.

"Umm well your mom knew my mom and, she got the news that you were hurt so know I have to look after you," He said.

I then saw his tattoos.

"Are you related to Park Jin-Young?" I asked.

He stopped and turned around.

"He's my brother," He said.

He got closer to my face and said, "Any more questions kitten?"

"No," I said while blus.h.i.+ng.

He smiled and got away from me.

"Wait you're staying here with me?" I said.

He nodded and said "What room?"

"There is a guest room down the haul," I said.

"If you need me, call for me," He said and walked down the hall.

The same back. It was him.
