the house was completely destroyed, the ape raising its four hands high in the air started beating its chest with its large fists in a fast pace, shouting a seemingly victorious howl toward the sky.

nora raised her head searching for kurono and the others yet to no avail, her vision was blurred by tears, she could hear the people on the neighborhood screaming and yelling for help, they are probably thinking it is a terrorist attack, she thought.

and that was what the whole world would think, no one would be able to guess that it was instead the work of aliens, most of human beings do not believe in the existence of another race beside their own in the first place, she was once like them too, the idea had seemed unbelievable to her.

yet here in front of her stood a creature who doesn't belong to this world, turning her head she stared strangely at the five red apes who didn't move a finger from the beginning until now.

they were glued to the ground not taking a single step forward, and if you look closely you will notice the expression of fear and terror plastered on their face.

the creatures were very afraid of the black ape, they didn't dare to make a move without his command, at first they refused to obey his instructions so they had a fight against him yet the consequences were disastrous, the only ones who survived his rage were them, the others were either eaten or had their body separated into many pieces, and so they became his subordinates.

but nora didn't know about this or she would have long escaped, after the ape stopped its actions it slowly reached out one of its hands toward the ground, picking up three small humans from the pile of bricks and debris, they were none another than kurono, Jessica and louis.

after the surprise attack made by the ape, jesicca took a lot of direct hits that made her lose consciousness without noticing the strange liquid that started flowing out of her suit wich made it useless, the others were more fortunate though, however they were eventually caught, the house fell directly on them holding their movement for a second, and so the opportunity to escape was lost.

kurono opened his eyes looking at the alien's ugly face, turning his head he noticed louis a look of fear on his face and the unconscious Jessica leaning on them, he tried to move but found it hard with the great pressure been exerted on them while they were slowly approaching its mouth.

'i need the x-gun to escape' gritting his teeth he thought.

his own gun was dropped on the ground after they were captured by the alien.

fortunately jessica had one of her own that was pressing on his back.

he s.h.i.+fted his hand with great difficulty and pulled it, slowly directing the muzzle toward the alien's wrist he pulled the trigger repeatedly.

bang_bang.

his heart was beating furiously as he kept on firing, they were being pulled toward the creature's mouth, if they couldn't break free they Would die.

"ugh" the alien's fist was exerting a huge amount of pressure on them, thanks to the battle suit though kurono and louis didn't feel much, however the unconscious Jessica grimaced on pain.

opening her eyes with difficulty she directed her gaze toward the alien's disgusting large mouth and especially its set of giant sharp teeth.

she was horrified, yet before she could scream for help a boom sound was heard right beside her ears, and the next moment she found herself falling with great speed toward the ground as the pressure she felt a moment ago was completely gone.

her legs swung randomly and her hands were moving around trying to catch on something, she just woke up and barely understood what's happening, all what she knew was that just when the black ape was about to swallow them the creature's hand was blown off by something or someone.

'no need to worry, i'm wearing the suit' her face lit up looking at her own battle suit as she gave a sigh of relief, she started calming down.

it didn't take long before she reached the ground, a large bam was heard as her frail body hit it, her whole body was in a great amount of pain, her leg bones were fractured her head was bleeding and her teeth were shattered.

seeing this scene nora hurriedly approached her cousin, shock visible on her face.

at the same time the big ape gave a fear striking howl toward the sky while holding its bloodied hand with great anger.

the five red aliens didn't even hesitate before they madly ruched out of this place, each one of them chose a way before hurriedly escaping using all of their six limbs.

louis and kurono both reached the ground and using a few large leaps they quickly escaped.

"kurono, uncle louis help her please" watching the fleeing figure of her friends nora yelled trying to attract their attention.

not even glancing back kurono kept on das.h.i.+ng hating the fact that he couldn't speed up anymore.

on the other hand louis hesitated for a moment, he stopped and turned his head, and that was the greatest mistake he made so far, he felt his body being hit by the ape's leg, it was like a train had struck him as he found himself high in the air breaking through a certain number of building before stopping and as the suit lost its power his body dropped down, he lied lifelessly on the ground's cold surface.

the alien didn't calm down at all instead it seemed to be getting madder and madder , it looked left and right searching for the one who caused her this great amount of pain, however kurono had already escaped, now he was hiding in the inside of a building nearby, yet he didn't relax.

'it found us before and it will probably be able to find me again' he was absentmindedly thinking but when hearing a dripping sound near him he turned his head looking fearfully at the strange liquid now falling from his own suit.

"when did that happen?" he mumbled as he began breathing in and out in a fast pace.

his suit stopped working, he was now no different from the average human being, vulnerable to the aliens power.

looking through the window's gla.s.s he gritted his teeth. he noticed how the black ape stopped searching for him as it slowly approached the other two survivors.

"r_run" Jessica spoke with great difficulty.

even though Jessica was barely alive and would probably die, nora never thought about abandoning her to escape, yet she knew that her chance of defeating the enemy was non existent.

she raised her trembling hands pointing the gun's muzzle toward the approaching alien before firing.

the alien disappeared from its former place instantly appearing above them and with a large force it hit nora throwing her in the air, catching her body with one of its hands it proceeded to smash her on the ground repeatedly.

all this happened right in front of jesseca's eyes but she couldn't move a finger. waiting for death she closed her eyes for a minute yet when she opened them again she shockingly found her self lying on the gantz waiting room.

instead of joy only sadness and despair existed on her heart.
