Love Is A Sweet Poison 93 93 I Would Like A Child

"I am hungry but I can wait until food arrives for me." Mayumi claimed into Amelia's lap and sat there patiently. 

Amelia hugged the girl and giggled. "Children just love me." 

Miyuki watched the scene unfold happily. "I can see that. I like you too as you are just the sweetest lady I have ever met. I cannot see you doing something wrong. Do you want a child?" 

"I would like one but with my condition being uncertain it is hard to say if I will be able to have one." Amelia said this as Gabriel entered the room.

"If you want one then I will do everything in my powers to keep you both alive. I promise you that." Gabriel walked to her said and kissed her on the cheek. 

Miyuki squealed at the affection Gabriel gave her. "I will do everything that I can to help as well. I know that I am just a maid but I will still help out as much as possible." 

"Thank you, both of you." Amelia blushed and looked at Mayumi. "I am sure it will not be long now. 

Gabriel sat down and patted Mayumi on her head. "Yes food is on the way. Papa is requesting it right now. We didn't know how long you would sleep for and didn't want your food to go cold." 

"I can wait Uncle. Auntie is very nice and is letting me sit on her lap." Mayumi sat happily.

"I do not mind. It is not causing me any grief. I thank both of you for wanting to help me get a child. It will take some work but I am sure that it will happen if the timing is right. For now we need to inform our parents of our decision on the wedding date." Amelia held Mayumi and let the girl lean on her. 

"Ah, before we tell them I would like to use that to our advantage or I should say to help out Kazuki. I am certain that we will all eat together and my father is going to be mad so I think it would be wise to use this as a way to calm him down." Gabriel looks at Amelia then starts to finish his food. He lifted an egg roll and held it out for Mayumi to eat.

"Itadakimasu!" Mayumi says this and eats a bite of egg roll while the rest falls on Amelia's empty tray.

Amelia giggles then picks up her chopsticks and picks up the rest of the egg and feeds it to Mayumi. "If you believe that it will help. Then I will let you be in control of this. You know your family best." 

"Thank you for understanding. I will do all that I can. Mayumi, when you meet your Grandfather I need you to do something for me as well. Okay?" He places a second egg roll on Amelia's plate. 

"If I can do it, I will help!! I do not want Grandpa to be mad at mama and papa." She ate the food that was offered to her by Amelia and agreed to whatever Gabriel was planning. 

Seeing the questioning look on Amelia's face Gabriel got up and kissed her forehead. "It is nothing mean. We are going to all go for a short walk. The fresh air will do you some good and will pick some flowers. Mayumi will give them to father and Mother." 

"OH! I get it. I will do that. I like picking flowers! Can I pick a little bit of flowers for other people as well?" Mayumi smiled and started at Gabriel. 

Chuckling he reached over and patted her head. "Yes you can do that. I have no issues with it. I will help you as well." Gabriel finished off his food. "Gochisosama." A knock on the door sounded. 

Miyuki got up and collected the three empty trays and took them to the door and slid it open. "Thank you for bringing the little girl's food, Sara. If it is not too much trouble could you bring these empty trays to the kitchen for me?" 

"Miyuki I will do that. Just so you know I am happy that you finally got the lady you are to care for and I will be in charge of the little one. Although unconfirmed, I am looking forward to it. May I serve her the food and then I will take these away from you?" Sara bowed and looked at Miyuki.

"You can come in. Mayumi is hungry." Amelia said this when Miyuki looked at her.

"Thank you, Missus." Sara got up and carried the try in the room and set it down in front of Amelia. She bowed and looked at the little girl. 

Mayumi looked at the lady that brought the food and looked into her eyes and saw kindness. "I am okay with you. Thank you for the food!" She starts eating the food on the tray and picks up a meat bun and blows on it before biting into it. "MMMMMM. This is so yummy!" 

Sara smiled at her and got up. "I will be off for now. If I am chosen I will be hanging out with you more. I am Sara, Missus." She bowed then picked up the trays and left the room. 

"I like her as well. I will put in a good word for her. Since my word has some pull." Gabriel watched the two children eat their food.

Miyuki came back to the table with Amelia's medicine. She handed the three packages over the table. "Amelia, you still need your medicine. It will be good for you to take it now while you have something in your stomach." 

Gabriel picked up the green package and opened it up and held it to her lips. "I will feed it to you so that Mayumi doesn't have to move." 

Amelia opened her lips and swallowed the powder then opened her mouth for the second dose. Once all three medicines were taken she picked up her tea cup and drank the rest. "Thank you Miyuki and Gabriel. I am very lucky to have you both taking care of me."
