Reflection In The Mirror 13 Normal

Judas was a normal guy with a rather normal personality. Heck, even his personality was normal to be honest.  He has simple black hair, albait bit messy. His eyes were of light blue shade and his skin tanned. He was very healthy and had lots of friends. 

   At least that's how he was supposed to be. But because of a brief moment of foolishness, he ended up in the Mafia. Who would have thought his strange hobby of mixing chemicals will lead to this… 

   Even then, everything turned out a little better at least. If you exclude the fact that he was taken by Fleur Famiglia, trained briefly, given a new name then thrown into match with 100% possibility of dying. 

    Judas sighed as he quickly washed his face, making sure to clean them thoroughly.  

"Seriously, this is over the top… "

  He mumbled, staring into the mirror. Honestly, he was scared and pretty sure he would die. He didn't want to fight!! So why must he?!? 

  The black haired young man tied his hair into a small ponytail and yawned. He had to pay his debt to the famiglia thought. And so far, everyone he met had been nice but Judas still missed his home. 

    With a sigh, he quickly dried his hands and face then headed out of the bathroom to the laboratory of the headquarters. He had developed 2 types of poison after working on them all night, yesterday. 

   First one was paralyzing poison, but the effect was slow and will only completely paralyze the victim after 10 minutes. 

   Second one was an instant kill type of poison. It was probably the most useful one in this fight. But the drawback was that it has to be consumed. Which was probably something he could do, he would just have to get the opponent talking and distracted before plugging in into their mouth. It'll be hard but not impossible. 

    Oh, also can't forget the antidotes for each, and a common poison antidote. Some weapon would be nice too. Something sharp and easy to use. 

     'I don't want to fight' 

   Shaking his head, Judas opened the laboratory door and quickly grabbed the 5 bottles set on the table. Three of them into the hidden pocket of his pants, softened and protected from breaking but also easily accessible. One went into the right pocket of his jacket and the last one coated the daggers Rowan had set aside for him on the table, then the poison coated blades into the holsters on the each side of his hips, held there by his belt. With this, the young man was ready to fight. 

   Taking a deep breath,Judas left the laboratory. Heading towards the front gate, where a car is waiting for him. It was already past noon and his fight is at 15:00 (3PM) as informed by Rowan. 

    As stated before, Judas did not want to fight. 

  'But you have to!~ you want to survive right?~' 

  Demon in his head asked, silver haired reflection in the window gla.s.s turning towards him with an amused smirk. The amethyst eyes that are so different from Judas's blue ones twinkling with something…. 

     Judas didn't know. Or rather, he did not want to know what that twinkle meant. 

  Ignoring the words in his head, along with the creepy reflection of his. Judas continued to walk and reached the front door. He without another word, opened the door and left the mansion. 

    Judas was a normal guy with a normal story. 

Only his reflection and the voices in his mind said differently. He didn't like it. 

  He entered the car and they drove away.

If anyone asked Rowan what he thought of the young man before him. He would answer-

   "Peculiar young man with bright eyes" 

And Rowan was rather sad to know that the innocence s.h.i.+ning bright in his eyes will die rather cruel death after this fight. 

   He knew that Judas was a smart young man but he was still naive to the ways of the corrupt. Now, because of one moment of foolish youth, he is being forced to fight for his life. 

   The greying man did not agree with his Donna's decision but could not do anything about it.  After all, Donna Camelia chose this bright boy to fight this battle with hopes of winning. So she must have seen some potential in him. 

    Rowan sighed a little and looked at the young man fidgeting across him once again. He only hoped for Judas to come back to them alive. It may have only been one day but he was already fond of the brat. 

   He smirked lightly when his gaze caught the flash of silver in his sleeves and the confident but nervous gleam in those intelligent eyes. 

   Perhaps, he should not be scared for the brat. 

Instead he should be scared for his opponent.

He took a deep breath and silently named every poisonous plant he could. Trying to calm himself as they waited for his turn. 

     Judas was scared(oh who was he kidding? He was f.u.c.king terrified). Rowan said he had every right to be scared and warned him to be cautious. He knew that already but that doesn't mean he knew how to be not scared! 

   He winced as the guy from Re famiglia was thrown overboard the platform and into the pit.

   So, the Ratti famiglia won this round. 

  The black haired youth stood up and made his way to the bridge nearest to him. It was his turn now and he was shaking with every step he took towards the platform. Judas felt like a coward as he finally reached the platform shakily. 

    And jumped when his opponent stepped into the platform after him with a thud. He lifted his head and looked up at the big burly man. 

Oh… 

Ooh.. 

So this is what that commenter meant when he said big. This guy was taller than Judas by at least 2 feet and those muscles were. He gulped and crouched down,pulling out his dagger. 

   'You can do this Judas.' 

'J-Just do it!' 

  He chanted inside his mind trying to calm himself down, not noticing the huge guy (what was his name again? Tiger? Yeah that was it. Tiger) had moved until too late. 

   "Thud!"

Judas gasped and coughed as a big fist met his abdomen, knocking the air out of him and throwing him at least a few steps back. 

  'f.u.c.k!' 

'f.u.c.k! f.u.c.k! d.a.m.nit!!'. 

  He thought, coughing as he rolled away from another hit. Oh G.o.d! Why in the f.u.c.king h.e.l.l did he agree to this again!? Oh yeah, his own stupidity. 

   Rolling into his knees and getting back into his feet. The young man looked around for any openings as he tried to dodge the fast thrown punches.

'Come on! Think, think!' 

Just as the big guy Tiger took a swing, Judas swung his hand and slashed the side of his hand a few seconds before the fist connected to his face with a nasty Crack. 

     '10 minutes…' 

That's all Judas needed. 

    '10 minutes' 

  He just needed to last that long. 

   10 minutes. 

Standing back up, ignoring his b.l.o.o.d.y broken bleeding nose. Judas grinned at the bleeding wound he created. 

    '10 minutes' 

  And the Tiger was going down.
