Reflection In The Mirror 14 Slip Off

10 minutes my a.s.s… 

  That's easy to say! But how is he supposed to last that long without being pummeled by this guy!? 

  Judas cussed under his breath and rolled out of the way again. This was troublesome, thank G.o.d guns weren't allowed! 

  The Tiger guy seems to be a person who specializes in guns and decent in close combat because of his large frame. And if Judas had been any slower, he would have been pummeled to the ground long ago. 

   He glanced at his wrist watch briefly. Only 3 minutes have pa.s.sed. This was tiring and so unfair, he grumbled under his breath and barely stepped out of the way from a kick. And Oh G.o.d up above, is that a pocket knife!? 

    He was screwed and no one can convince him otherwise. Fudging aghhh! 

   Judas could taste blood on his lips. He split his lip, broke his nose and there probably was a big bruise on his face. Wincing slightly, he spit the blood out of his mouth and charged towards Tiger.  Even a newbie like him knows that he can't keep dodging forever.

  Tiger laughed, and grabbed Judas's hand. He then pulled him forward, disrupting the boy's balance and stabbed him in the abdomen with a smirk. It felt good to take revenge for the little cut the boy gave him. 

    Seriously, what did he think he'll do to Tiger without even arming himself with anything other than daggers. He may not be gifted but he was still stronger than the average human. Which was what the kid was from what he gathered. 

    The kid coughed out blood as one of his daggers clattered on  the ground while the hand that had previously been holding it moved to his injury. For a good measure Tiger twisted the blade, drawing out a cry from the kid. 

   He smirked and pulled the the knife ou-

His eyes widened-

  THUD!! 

   "Cough! Haah!.." 

 He panted, coughing out a little bit of vomit.

'W-what!?' 

  What had just happened? One moment, he had been pulled by the knife and the next he was kicked in the gut, being forced to let go of the knife handle as he was pushed backwards. 

     How did the boy? What? 

Tiger stopped short, cold sweat broke down from his temple. 

   He absent mindedly noted that he was trembling lightly. He looked around for the source of this pressure, pressing down on him. 

   A chuckle… 

  He slowly turned his head towards the boy standing in front of him. Why was he laughing? Didn't he feel it to-

  'Run..' 

A step back. 

   Another one.. 

And another.. 

   Until he was standing at the edge of the platform. 

  "Haha…" 

  Stop laughing… Don't laugh!

  The boy straightened, still quietly chuckling. He pulled out the knife from his abdomen and threw it into the ground as if nothing. 

   As if he wasn't bleeding. 

  "8 minutes, I guess I underestimated the potency of the poison I made" 

    Poison? What poison? Is that why Tiger can't move? Was the dagger poisoned? 

     The boy laughed again,(what was his name again? Judas? Yeah it was Judas). Started walking towards him.

    All the instics in his body flared. 

 'Run' 

'Get away! Out!' 

'RUN!!!!' 

   Tiger wanted to move but he couldn't move, his body wouldn't move. Why wasn't he moving!? 

  Then realization dawned on Tiger. 

Ah, the poison… 

   It must have paralyzed him.. 

  He heard something spilling on the floor. What was it?  The boy was laughing again as he stood in front of him. 

   "You s.h.i.+t yourself? What a coward" 

He said. 'Oh, so it was what the noise was…'  Tiger thought he couldn't bring himself to feel humiliated. 

    Oh, Judas was looking up now (was that even his name? Or did some monster eat the real boy?) and all of his thoughts come to halt. 

  Amethyst eyes with golden rings started at him as foreign looking smirks overtook the boy's features. 

  'So that's why..' 

Tiger thought. 

A hand pressed against his chest with a last "Goodbye" whispered into his ear. And then-

 He was falling.. 

  He was falling and falling and-

Oh G.o.d he was falling into the pit. 

   Scream bubbled in his throat and so he screamed.. 

  "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" 

 Don Hide watched him fall with a bored look on his face. 

  And no more….

  The crowds were absolutely quiet until the desperate screams of Tiger could not be heard anymore. 

 Then, they cheered. 

  They cheered for Judas. Because, Of course, no one fighting for the Fleur Famiglia would be weak! 

  At first, it looked like Judas was about to lose but then the Beast famiglia fighter froze unable to move! Most likely a poison! And wasn't that smart!?

He slowly backed Tiger the edge then pushed him down once the guy was paralyzed! 

   People talked amongst themselves, praising and speculating the fight. Even though it was a short one. 

   Ignoring them all, Rowan beelined to the bridge connected to the platform. Watching Judas make his way towards him, ready to catch and treat his injuries. 

   He knew the boy was stabbed by Tiger, and he most probably was bleeding, after pulling the knife out. 

   The moment Judas stepped down into the ground, Rowan started fussing over him. 

Checking for injury, but first and foremost, he pushed the s.h.i.+rt up expecting to see a bleeding wound. 

    Rowan stared at the sight before his eyes unbelievingly , making Judas laugh. 

Instead of an injury, under the s.h.i.+rt was b.l.o.o.d.y skin with no sign of injury. Like, he hadn't been stabbed at all. And if it wasn't for the blood, Rowan would have believed that. 

    "B-But How?" 

 He looked up at Judas searchingly. The youth only smiled and opened his mouth to answer. 

  "I-" 

His eyes rolled into the back of his skull and he pa.s.sed out, limp in Rowan's hold. 

'Exhaustion...'

The old man thought as he picked up the young man and carried him back to the car.

For now, resting was more important. He could get his answer from Judas later.

Turning to the driver holding the door he nodded.

"Boar we're leaving"

"Yes Rowan"
