Reflection In The Mirror 18 Glimpse Of The Truth

(Warning! Pov change)

   "Blegh! Elias is a moron!" 

"Oi! No I'm not! Come back here you!" 

    I watched as Elias and Dante chased after each other. Even though they looked like they were fighting, both of them were smiling as if having fun. I do kind of want to join….

   I pushed my hair behind my ear. It was getting long, I should cut it soon. I sighed and turned my attention back to the two teens running around the garden. They should get back inside soon. Master would be here soon. 

I opened my mouth to shout when I heard two pairs of footsteps approaching. Aegis wasn't on guard so it wasn't anyone dangerous. It was probably them. 

    "Annabeth, Isolda. What are you guys doing here?" 

   "Gees, you're no fun to sneak up to Will!" 

 I sighed once again and turned around to look at the two girls behind me. One had chocolate brown hair and her eyes were poisonous green with electric blue pupils. The other had light pink hair with bluish silver eyes and normal pupils. They were both dressed in maid outfits. 

   Isolda huffed while Annabeth laughed lightly, ler laughter echoing like a tinkling of bells. 

 "Well of course to call you guys back inside! The Master will be back soon! But I won't now. You guys can go back inside on your own!" 

 I laughed along with Annabeth while the other two boys stopped chasing after each other to stare at us.

   Dante huffed and walked up to them, dragging grumbling Elias behind him. The black hair, sparkling blue eyed boy asked with a bright smile. 

   "Whatcha all talking about?" 

"Oh, they were here to tell us to get inside! Master would be here soon after all. If he finds out we went outside…" 

  The atmosphere turned gloomy at that. Master finding out wasn't anything good after all. Sensing the down mood of his friends Dante slapped Elias in the back and yelled.

   "LAST ONE TO THE ROOM IS A HOWLING FROG!!!" 

    He started running. As if finally getting what Dante said, Elias who had been rubbing his back yelped then ran after him. 

   "LIKE h.e.l.l! COME BACK HERE YOU CHEATER!!!" 

  I flinched. Yeah those two were pretty loud… 

Turning towards the other two I smiled.  

  "You two should head inside too. I will be there soon" 

   "You won't come inside now?" 

 "I need to pick up the things they left behind" 

  Annabeth smiled and took Isolda's hand who was about to protest. Ah, she must have noticed too. 

   "Let's go inside then Isolda. Come inside soon Will!" 

  "I will!" 

  I watched her pull Isolda inside the mansion until they disappeared inside until addressing the person watching us. 

  "Welcome back Master." 

  "My as polite as always William. Didn't I tell you to call me Father?" 

  "I'm sorry father. I won't forget next time."

  I felt his hand land on my lower back, pus.h.i.+ng back a shudder. It wasn't a pleasant feeling by any means.  His breathing was so close to my ear that it wasn't comfortable. 

   "I sure hope that you won't William. It's already the 3rd time." 

   "I'm sorry father." 

 "Don't apologise, you know what will happen if you forget again anyway. So I will forgive you this time. You are my Heir after all" 

 I could almost sigh in relief now but I have to hold myself together. He took his hand off of my back and the breath beside my ear disappeared. 

   "Well run along now William. You know when to come tonight." 

  "Yes, Thank you father." 

 I could finally move my muscles. Quickly picking up the scarred jackets and the book, I bowed to the master. 

   "Goodbye father" 

 I walked as fast as I could inside. Thankfully he didn't stop me. 

   Please, if there is anyone… Please get us out of here.. 

  I wiped away the tears I could feel falling. I can't cry now. No use crying for help. We just have to get out of here.

   Purple eyes blinked open and stared at the ceiling. Color fading away to sapphire blue. 

   Judas sat up, looking around the room blankly. 

   What had he dreamed? 

 He couldn't quite remember. 

It had been hazy and there were people he knew. He was supposed to know but that's it. 

   He could not remember further than that. 

  Sighing, the blue eyed youth blinked and shuffled out of the bed. He headed straight to the bathroom, maybe a shower would help.  Because Judas really did not feel like doing anything today. Besides, Rowen gave him a break until tomorrow's fight. And his bone was already healed anyway. But the aches and bruises remained…. So unfair. 

   Quietly, the sullen man turned the shower on. Well… Maybe a bath… in the bathtub getting filled with water, the young man once again drifted to sleep.

    "What's taking them so long? We called them like an hour ago!" 

   "Calm down Roy! I'm sure they will be here soon!"

    He paced, anxiously waiting for the backup to show up with trucks.  Seriously, it had already been 2 hours! Where the heck are they!? 

     Lily was trying to calm him down too but he could not stay still! They needed to transport these people (children!!) to save place before the person who kidnapped them comes back and attacks them! 

   They had managed to get them out of the vault in the sewers and out in the field but that's it. There were 22 people in total excluding both Lily and him. 

  Never have Roy been this agitated! It was the safety of innocent people at risk here! Some of them even needed medical help! And the government was f.u.c.king late! 

   He growled and continued to pace as Lilian tried to calm him down. He knew he should listen but couldn't bring himself to do it. He was just about to lose his temper when a young teenager approached him. 

  The girl looked to be around 14 at most. She had beautiful purple hair and red eyes, there were also horns growing from her head. She was probably of beast ancestry. In fact, all of them were.

So why were they there? 

But the girl cut his train of thought with her hoa.r.s.e voice. 

 "Are you really Roy?" 

 He blinked and smiled at her gently. She probably heard of him and reached out to rifle her hair. 

 "Yes, don't worry I will protect you now" 

"...." 

  Slap!!! 

"Wha?.." 

 His eyes widened as the girl slapped his hand away. He wanted to apologise and ask for a reason when the red eyes full of hate glared at him.

"I HATE YOU! DON'T ACT LIKE A f.u.c.kING HERO!" 

  What?.. 

  What!? What was she talking about!? 

"What do you-" 

"BECAUSE OF YOU DON HIDE GOT CAUGHT! BECAUSE YOU GOT IT INTO YOUR HEAD THAT YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE HERO!!!" 

  "Hide was a bad guy! He must have manipulated you all too-" 

"You don't know anything…" 

  The people around them were shouting now too. Lily stepped closer to him… They were shouting at Roy and Lily. Like they agreed with the girl. But why? 

  "What do you mean? Lily here was manipulated by Hide! He really is a bad person-" 

  The girl looked at Lily and she growled, showing a round of sharp teeth. 

  "YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING! DON HIDE SAVED US! HE FED US! HE HELPED US AND GAVE US HOME! WE WERE SAFE BECAUSE HE TOOK CARE OF US! BUT THAT WENCH! THAT WENCH BETRAYED" 

  The girl was sobbing now and Roy didn't know what to do.. What should he even do!? He was about to open his mouth when Lily pulled at his hand, shaking her head. So he remained quiet. 

  "Because of you we got nowhere to go anymore. You're the only bad guy here… " 

  The teen sobbed, another similar looking guy coming up to hug her. Probably her brother. 

   He too glared at them and Lily started pulling him away.  He tugged, trying to get him to stop but stopped when the crowd started to make a way for them to go. 

  "Leave… leave and don't show your face. We won't thank you for saving us.. It was your fault we were in there anyway…" 

   What was this guy on about!? What were they all talking about!? Their voices were full of venom. 

 "Leave!"

  Without another word, Roy turned around and started walking away with Liliana following after him.  He needed to get out of there… 

  He needed to be away… 

  He needed to leave. 

He wasn't needed here.
