Part Wolf 55 Chapter 55: Weight Of Memories

"Zack look out!" She screamed, clutching at his neck desperately.

He jumped to the left, narrowly escaping the wolf's jaws slamming down on him. Elize's heart started beating faster with fear. Her palms were sweaty and the pain in her shoulder was on an unprecedented scale now because of all the movements. Her grip on Zack's fur was loosening as her strength was falling rapidly. She looked back at the group of crazed wolves following them right on their tail. They didn't seem to be running out of energy. Her vision started blurring as she weakly leaned on to her mate's back.

Zack took another sharp turn followed by a few irritated barks from behind them. It was a close pursuit. The wolves following them were as close to them as the fingers on one's hands were. Often she could feel the breath of a wolf on her hand. She'd shrink back as a reaction, but as time pa.s.sed, it was getting more difficult to get away from them. Elize felt like she'd slip off from Zack's back anytime soon. She was growing weaker and weaker by the second. As her mate dodged another attack, her fears came true. Elize's injured body slipped off from the Alpha's back and fell towards the group of l.u.s.t filled animals.

"Zack!!!" She screamed, her scream cutting through the furious barks of the animals.

Zack flipped back in desperation, pus.h.i.+ng his paws towards Elize. But it was too late. The edge of his claws only managed to cut through air.He looked towards her in shock, his face registering a horrified expression which was the last thing Elize saw before pain blinded her to everything around her. Her body hit the ground with a force so strong that it shook her insides. She landed on her wounded side, making the injury worsen further. For a moment, she could see stars from the agony that it resulted in. Not even a single sound came out from her for the first few seconds, as pain took over all her senses. The ferocious barks of the wolves now circling her body forced her to stay alert. She wanted to get up and run, although she knew that there was no escape from the situation.

From the days spent with their kind, she knew one thing. That the wolves in front of her wouldn't know the difference between their kin or a stranger at that moment. Trying to get up from the cold forest ground, Elize held her breath and forced herself to turn towards her side ignoring the pain coursing through her body. The moment she did Elize cried out in agony, her limbs refusing to budge even an inch. The slight moment had excited the animals that were barking at her with much vigor. Through the slits of her eyes, she could see the animals readying to pounce on her.

"NO!" She screamed as several pairs of jaws locked on to her clothes.

"Krrrrrrrrr!!!!" A huge chunk of her ts.h.i.+rt was ripped off of her by hungry jaws, leaving the skin of her stomach exposed to the cold of the wind.

Elize s.h.i.+vered, seeing the l.u.s.t in their eyes. Determined to hide the truth of her feelings, she glared at them defiantly, raising her hand against the nearest wolf she could find. The creature dodged the attack easily, as her weak hands landed on the hard forest floor. Her action was not ignored, as another wolf approached her and quickly made her hand immobile by placing its foot on her palms. Looking at her with eyes filled with desire, it started licking her hand upwards towards her armpit with an uncontrollable hunger.

"Leave me alone you b.a.s.t.a.r.ds!" She shouted, flailing her free limbs at the wolves weakly.

Her protests were ignored, as the wolves started licking and nipping at the exposed skin on her stomach and her legs. Elize struggled desperately to no avail. Her human self was no match for a bunch of crazed werewolves. She looked towards her mate. Zack was in a killing frenzy, shredding through the wolves who kept him away from her. The golden brown fur on his limbs and around his face was matted down with a thick coat of dripping blood. She could see that there were huge gashes on the sides of his body, healing quicker than the ones on the smaller wolves.

Feeling her gaze on him, Zack looked at Elize. Their eyes locked for a fraction of a second. Elize could feel that he was in pain, seeing her like this. His eyes showed guilt at not being able to protect her. But Elize blamed herself for the situation. If she was the target of the wolves, she was the one putting Zack through all the danger. He was getting hurt because of her. If only she had her powers, Elize thought sadly looking away from him.

As she felt a wet feeling against the inside of her thighs she squirmed uncomfortably, trying to bring her legs together.

"Grrrrrr." The wolf standing between her legs growled threateningly.

"f.u.c.k off!" She shouted, glaring at the huge creature.

The wolf barked at her furiously and pushed it's snout forcibly against her core. Elize was too weak to move. A sense of helplessness enveloped her. Tears spilled out of her eyes as she layed there helplessly, while the hungry wolves started tearing the rest of her clothes and licking at her exposed skin. Sharp teeth grazed her wound again and again, drawing more blood out of it. Wet rough tongues dragged across it, making her moan in agony. Elize struggled to stay awake, as the pain pushed her consciousness away from her.

"Krrrrrrrr!!!" The rest of her ts.h.i.+rt was ripped away, exposing her b.r.e.a.s.t.s to the cool forest wind.

"Please." She begged, her voice coming out as a squeak.

"Krrrrrrr!!" The front of her shorts was ripped off as her plea fell on deaf ears.

Elize lay there on the cold forest floor, completely naked in the midst of a dozen l.u.s.t-filled werewolves. She weakly turned to the side, drawing her legs against her chest in an attempt to cover herself. She was s.h.i.+vering in fear, her body shaking from her helpless sobs. She closed her eyes, accepting her fate. Maybe this was how she was going to die.

Flashes of memory played in her head. The same gray eyes that looked like hers stared at the monsters hovering above them in a look mixed with pain and hatred. The same gray eyes, but they were dozens of different faces. All were breathtakingly beautiful, different yet similar in some way. Elize realized that the memories were not of her own, but of different women who all somehow bore similarities to her. Their screams pierced her mind as an overwhelming sense of helplessness pushed at her from the memories.

'Please!'

'Please!'

'Please!'

Various voices screamed inside her head. Elize's sobs increased as the sadness of the voices became one with her own. For some reason, she could feel the weight of each memory, like it was her own. T was as if she was going through the same thing again and again.

"Please." She whispered in the middle of her sobs.
