Star Wars: Force Bound 16 Warning

"The name is Lyn if you mean me." She still smiled while telling him her name.

Jack just looked at her before he changed his gaze from her to the others.

He observed the other 6 people. Two of them had helmets on and were rather heavily equipped.

"Wait, are you not the guys that hunted us down?" Jack was a little bit surprised.

Another person laughed lightly. It was actually the merc leader that he met earlier. Only that currently he had his helmet unequipped and one could see the blonde short hair he had. His brown eyes were looking at Jack.

"We are just as surprised as you are. We got this mission right after you guys went ahead and talked with Grakkus. Oh, right. I should probably introduce myself now, huh. Name is Billy and these two are Kyle and Rash."

"I guess Grakkus is keeping a short leash on us...Jack, keep a close eye on them and try to keep those artifacts hidden.", mentioned David in Jawaese.

Jack only sighed and looked at the other three people. Two of them were adult humans, one female, and the other male. Both looked like your typical criminals. They seemed to glare at Jack in contempt.

"Pyr and Mist.", said the guy with a short sentence.

Jack wondered a little bit that they didn't introduce the last person with them. It was surprisingly a young female Togruta clad in shabby clothing.

"What about her?", asked Jack while looking at the young Togruta with light blue skin and darker blue montrels on her head that were decorated with white stripes just like the white patterns on her face.

"Our slave? She is just a luggage carrier." The guy now snorted after hearing his question.

When he said that the girl seemed to look even more to the ground.

"What are you even still doing here? Get useful and prepare our rooms.", said the woman.

Jack frowned and he felt anger well up in his heart. He walked over to the young Togruta and kneeled in front of her. "What is your name?"

Seeing what Jack did she raised her head lightly and looked him into his eyes. Just at that moment, Jack felt something peculiar.

"Hey, did you not hear what we said? Why are you bothering about our slave?" The guy was now slightly angry because he saw how he tried to communicate with his slave.

And just as the guy came closer, Jack growled and lashed out. He instantly grabbed the guy by his neck and slammed him at the metal wall near them. The guy called Pyr was shocked and tried to claw himself free from Jack´s grip. But he could only feel that the strength this guy exerted was by far stronger than him.

"Listen up, buddy...You better shut up...I dislike your kind the most and if we were not on this mission together I would have already killed you for being a slave owner." Jack threatened him with his words and his yellow eyes seemed to penetrate Pyr´s soul.

It was clearly effective since Pyr started to stop struggling and only looked at Jack with fear apparent.

Glaring at him for a few seconds longer he let the guy go and pushed him to his lover or whatever that woman was and looked back at the others.

"Just to make one thing clear. WE are the ones owning this s.h.i.+p and if YOU dare think about doing something stupid or not listen to our command, you will regret it."

Then he looked at the mercs that seemed to have become wary.

"The same goes to you guys. Don't try me."

["Dark Presence" learned]

The atmosphere was getting colder by the second. Only the voice of the Togruta girl broke it. "Um...Kelana Nir...That is my name."

Jack looked back at her and a smile appeared on his previously hardened face. He kneeled down again. "It´s nice to meet you, Kelana. My name is Ja´ak Shea. You can call me Jack for short. My friends over there are called Ben and David. The short ones David."

Kelana looked at his friends for a short moment and then back at him. Inside her emerald eyes, one could see slight confusion in them.

"Was that really necessary?", asked David now from the side.

Jack only stood back up and walked to the criminal couple.

"How much?", he asked.

"What?", asked the woman while still tending to her partner who was still rubbing his neck that became red from the force Jack used.

"Don't play dumb. How much do you want for her?" Jack repeated once more and now it was clear he wanted to buy Kelana off from these two guys.

They looked at each other and after the woman nodded and looked at him she stated the price. "500.000 Credits."

Jack narrowed his eyes. "What did I tell you just a second ago? Do you take me for a fool?" Jack´s voice was once more became cold. Then he grabbed inside his coat and took out credits worth 300.000. Luckily there were many different plates worth different amounts. And there was one worth 100.000 each.

So Jack threw three credit chips at the couple. "That should be enough for you. Now hand over the slave control device."

The two just looked at the money and both their eyes became huge. Without hesitation, they picked up the money and handed him a device that controlled the slave chip inside the young Togruta.

They didn't even bother to bicker about the price since Jack knew with 300k credits one could get a fine used s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p or some battle droid. At least everything worth more than a slave that needed to be fed and accommodated.

It was normally used to track down the slave or if needed could activate an electric shock inside her body. It was actually just an improved version of a slave collar, really.

The young girl that only looked like to be 12 stared at this and her confused look became even bigger.

"Kelana, go and follow David. He will show you your room.", said Jack to her and looked to his friend who only nodded and waved her to himself to follow.

"You guys can also go and grab a room. There should be enough living quarters on this s.h.i.+p...Otherwise, make yourself somewhere comfy for the time. It's not that I like for us to stay together that long, but the trip will at least takes us 2 weeks." Jack did turn back to Billy and Lyn to tell them the rather long journey they would take.

With that Jack started to walk away to grab a room for himself.

Ben just looked after him and sighed. "Well, now that this is over with. Please behave, alright?" Then Ben walked over to Lyn. "So, the cheeky woman that got us into that trouble is called Lyn. Is that your actual name?"

Lyn looked at Ben. "And what if it isn't?"

"Well, I at least would like us to keep honest with each other. After all, you kinda do owe us that much?"

Lyn smiled. "I don't think I owe anyone anything. Next time, try a better timing, okay?" She then just went past him and also seemed to go get a room.

Ben only had his mouth open as if he wanted to say something but only clicked his tongue and returned to the c.o.c.kpit. He, sure enough, knew that he kinda failed in his approach.

David looked at his friends and then walked with Kelana to the living quarters as well and opened up a room for her. It was rather small but that was just how life in s.p.a.ce was. Rather minuscule and compact.

"Here is your room.", said David in basic now.

That somehow surprised her because she only heard him speak another language. Then her curiosity got the better of her. "Why did he buy me from my previous owners?"

David turned to her and shrugged his shoulders. "Who knows, kid. Why don't you just ask him yourself later? Go ahead and get some rest for now. Okay?"

Kelana wanted to still ask away but only nodded and entered the room.

When the door closed David sighed and walked back. There he saw Jack approaching.

"What exactly was that?", he asked Jack.

Jack only smiled wryly. "I kinda got mad again. Also...I think that the girl is force sensitive."

"And you know that how?"

"I just felt it...Anyway, I will get some rest because I feel tired. You two make sure not to let your guard down. Especially towards those two b.a.s.t.a.r.ds, alright?"

David only sighed. "One day either you or Ben are going to be the death of me. I hope I at least get to tell you that before that happens."

"Good night to you too." Jack only smiled and then chose a room as well. It was even directly opposite from Kelana´s room.

Inside the room instead of just laying down in the bed, Jack sat down on the ground after locking his room from inside and started to try and meditate.

Since he never did that he would have to figure it out first. But he knew some yoga practices that could be useful to do that.

Sure enough at some point, he got it done and fell into a meditative state.

Jack also checked the skill he got previously. It looked like he used the dark side just for a short moment when he got angry at those two guys and threatened them.

He really needed to learn to counteract this. And the only way he could think about was to clean his alignment and meditate on the light side. The thing was, the only way he knew how was to meditate while using the force.

And he did that with placing one of the lightsabers he stole in front of himself and then started meditation. While he meditated he slowly started to float his own body above the ground and even the saber started to float around himself with his telekinesis.

It was not the result he expected because he now knew that he could make his anger even more potent than before which could probably increase the dark side inside him.

He noticed, when he meditated about his anger, it was as if he relived the moments that made him angry. Weirdly enough he could see memories flash by that were not his own.

They were as clear as if he would look at polaroid pictures.

And before he could dwell too much on the thought who´s memories those were he soon lost himself in them and woke up from his meditation sometime later in a cold sweat.

Jack felt sick to the core and his eyes were glowing menacingly. He knew what happened and his gasping breath slowly calmed down.

He actually ended up doing the complete opposite of what he tried to do. He easily lost himself in his dark past or better to say in the dark past of his body.

´Fine, increasing my stat points is the way to go then if I can't avoid being sucked up by those experiences...And yet I don't even remember what I saw just now...I definitely feel pain and anger...´

[INT increased by 3 and WIS by 2 through the intensive meditation.]

´What? Wait, how long was I gone? Terra?´ He was pulled out of his thought process by a notification.

[You meditated for 2 days straight, Jack.]

´s.h.i.+t...That is rather long. The last time I did something like that was when I was sick and bedridden. I wonder what the others did until now. What time is it currently?´

[I get the feeling you didn't understand the meaning behind a guide when you took me with you...]

´Pretty please?´

[It should be around 10 am...]

´Thank you very much~.´ A small smile appeared on his lips.

Then Jack looked at the objects still floating inside his room after his focus changed back to reality. His eyes remained on a little stone with a blue color that was also in the air with the other parts.

It looks like while he meditated he also disa.s.sembled the lightsaber.

Grabbing the kyber crystal, all the other things soon fell down because his meditation stopped completely. Standing up he could smell a really nasty smell wafting to his nose.

"Oh s.h.i.+t...I completely forgot to take a shower first...G.o.d d.a.m.n it." With that realization, he went ahead and left his room to get himself a shower in the refres.h.i.+ng room. A very long one because he also could tell that the sewer s.h.i.+t has already become one with him.
