The Immortal never intended to fight Yuan with their full power, thinking it would be an overkill. Moreover, they were still hiding from the pursuers from the upper heavens. If they released their full cultivation, the pursuers would definitely find them in a heartbeat.

'There's no need to expose my location just to kill a mere mortal! I'll end this before he can even realize what had killed him!' The Immortal laughed inwardly before they flew at Yuan with immense speed.

Seeing that the Immortal had no intention of fighting him with their full strength, Yuan smiled and said, "You'll also regret underestimating me."

Once he was close enough, he began thrusting Dragon's Soul at the Immortal.
