“Okay.”

Uncle Qiu placed 2 sets of breakfast on a tray.

“Bring your breakfast upstairs to eat together with Tianxin. Just leave the plates outside when you’ve finished eating, but you have to get your own lunch later. I need to go out for a while.”

He put the breakfast on the table and touched her forehead with the back of his hand. He was relieved to find that it did not feel hot.

Suddenly, Ye Tianxin opened her eyes and looked at Li Qingcang.

“Qingcang, your hands are very cold.”

She pulled his hand and placed it under the blanket.

Li Qingcang was caught by surprise and he tumbled onto the bed, next to Ye Tianxin. Although their bodies were separated by the blanket, he could feel her hourgla.s.s figure. He suddenly recalled the image of Ye Tianxin sleeping in the bathtub that day. That scene was the most beautiful picture to him; it was now forever imprinted in his mind. No other scene in the world could be more beautiful to him than that.

“Qingcang, why are you up so early?”

Li Qingcang lay on his side, next to Ye Tianxin. “Silly girl, it’s already 9 o’clock.”

“9 o’clock?”

Ye Tianxin frantically jumped out of bed. She did not want Li Qingcang’s grandfather to have a bad impression of her.

This is not good. Why did she get up so late this morning? Grandpa must think she is a lazy girl.

Ye Tianxin was wearing Li Qingcang’s white tee. The bed was shaking as she got up.

Li Qingcang’s heart skipped a beat as he looked at her long legs standing on the bed. He suddenly thought of his suggestion to go to the hot spring the night before.

“Tianxin, don’t panic. Grandpa had left for the temple early in the morning. He wouldn’t know what time we wake up. Besides, Grandpa is a very nice old man. He’s not as petty as you think. Lie down first. Don’t catch a cold.”

Ye Tianxin was tall, but Li Qingcang was much taller.

“Come, Tianxin, let’s have breakfast.”

“Okay.” Tianxin smiled happily. “Shall we go to the hot spring after breakfast?”
