Chapter 139 - Fu Hua Discovers That Jia Li Is Pregnant

He put his card on the bed, before unfolding the crumbled receipt to take a look at the drugs Jia Li purchased because he was curious to know what kind of drugs were prescribed for her.

The first thing that caught Fu Hua's eyes was the pregnancy test kit purchased for $**. The price wasn't his problem, but instead, it was the item purchased.

A surprised glint flashed in Fu Hua's eyes as he stopped to think for a while.

'Why would she need a pregnancy test kit?'

'Is she pregnant?'

Fu Hua needed answers to his questions, and only Jia Li could answer him, so he took the receipt with him and walked towards her room door.

Luckily enough, Jia Li did not lock the door, so he easily had access to her room.

Fu Hua enters her room and looks around, but he couldn't find her in the room. Her backpack she left on the bed caught his sight and he went straight for it.

Fu Hua opened the bag ???? and took out its contents. The only thing that caught his attention was the brown envelop, so he took a hold of it, and just then, Jia Li walked out of the bathroom.

She was surprised to see Fu Hua in her bedroom, but most importantly, he was holding onto her current secret.

Fu Hua glanced at the surprised look ???? on her face, and his brows creased further. The next thing he saw was the familiar figure rus.h.i.+ng towards him.

Fu Hua knew that she was coming for the brown envelope, so he held it above his head.

"You want this?" Fu Hua asked the annoyed Jia Li.

"Fu Hua give it to me!" Jia Li said in an annoyed tone as she tried to reach for the brown envelope, but she failed to do that, and that made her angry.

"Tell me, what are you hiding from me?" Fu Hua asked in a dangerous tone.

"Nothing, just give it to me!" Jia Li replied as she was almost about to start crying.

"No way! I won't give it to you." Fu Hua replied as he raised the envelope higher and evaded Jia Li from reaching it.

"Fu Hua, this is not your concern, give the envelope to me!" Jia Li said angrily as she tiptoed to reach for the envelope again, and by doing that, she rubbed her chest on him.

"I won't give it to you until I see for myself what you are hiding from me. And, what are you doing now, are you trying to seduce me?" Fu Hua asked with a frown.

Jia Li stopped trying to reach for the envelope and glanced at him with an angry look, as tears could be seen br.i.m.m.i.n.g in the corner of her eyes.

"You are so annoying!" Jia Li said before rus.h.i.+ng out of the room.

Jia Li was angry, annoyed, afraid and nervous because she failed to get the test results from Fu Hua. She didn't know how Fu Hua will react when he sees the test results.

She had no idea of how he will treat her when he learns that she is pregnant. Jia Li was scared, so she ran away and went to lock herself up in the workshop, and took the key with her.

Fu Hua clearly saw the tears in Jia Li's eyes, and he didn't think his actions just now, was enough to make her cry.

Her action, already told him that she was hiding something big from him, and that, he must find out.

Fu Hua sighed as he opened the envelope, and then the pregnant test kit fell out of it. He picked it up and glanced at it, but he couldn't tell or interpret the result, since he was onto seeing 2 red lines on the screen.

Of course, there was no way for Fu Hua to know what that means since he has never experienced it before.

Another thought that came to Fu Hua's mind, was that Jia Li took the pregnancy test to see if she was pregnant, but the result turned out negative, so she wanted to hide it from him, and became annoyed when he got hold of it.

Fu Hua proceeded to open the test result after keeping the kit aside, and the first thing he saw there, was 'pregnancy test results'.

Fu Hua didn't understand the part that talked about the level of hormones that were high in her body, so he skipped that part and went straight for the interpretation.

Fu Hua thought he wasn't seeing well, so he glanced at it again to confirm his surprise.

'She's pregnant?' Fu Hua thought ???? as he held the result in his hand.

'Why did she get to hide it from me? Is she scared that I won't accept it?' Fu Hua thought as his brows creased in a deep frown.

Remembering that Jia Li ran away from the room, he went to look for her.

He searched in the living room and kitchen while calling out to her name, but he didn't see or receive any response from her.

Glancing at the door to the workshop, Fu Hua walked towards it and tried to open it, but he discovered that it was locked, and definitely, he knew that Jia Li was there.

When he knocked and called out for her but didn't receive any response, he went to his room and came back in less than 2 minutes with a bunch of keys ???? in his hands.

He picked out the right key and unlocked the door with it. When he opened the door, he saw Jia Li squatting on the floor with her face buried in between her legs.

Fu Hua frowned as he walked towards her.

"Jia Li?" He called out as he reached for her trembling shoulders.

Jia Li heard him unlock the door and walked towards her but she chose to ignore him because she was convinced that he has found out about her pregnancy, and she was scared of what he had to say.
