Chapter 562 - Alix's Return To China

Feng Alix made it to the headlines the day after the New year celebrations. The news of her pregnancy has been kept under wraps after much speculation from a few fans and many anti-fans. But a day after the new year, she released so many photos from her maternity shoot.

'Feed your eyes, a beauty is always a beauty.' Feng Alix had said under the photos she released.

A few people who still saw her in a good light congratulated her. Some anti-fans expressed their concern for Feng Alix pa.s.sing her evil traits to an innocent child.

Some even said that by the time the child was born and grew up under her care, she would have become her replica in character and traits.

'Shouldn't the government ban some women like her from ever having a child because this is one of the reasons our society is ruined?'

No matter how many tongues were las.h.i.+ng at her, Alix didn't bulge. Right now, she was preparing to fly back to China.

It was not easy for her to convince her husband to let her have her child in China. The threat of the Suarez family towards her and her child was many that she managed to pull through till now.

Her baby was due in February and she wanted to leave immediately. Her husband had asked her to stay until she gave birth to their child before she could travel, but she refused.

Apart from the threats around her, Alix was in a hurry to go back to China so she could start making plans to meet someone soon. She had many agendas for going back to China apart from giving birth to her child.

Alix received so many death threats and mishaps, like losing her balance on the stairs because the rails were stained with oil.

Slipping and falling on tiles because of oil spillage. Given something to eat which was not beneficial to her and the child. Being scared to almost death by the grandchildren of her husband on several occasions.

They would sometimes hide insects in her bedroom, plate, car and resting area which caused her frights on several occasions.

After listing all these to her husband in tears, Mr. Suarez finally allowed her to travel to China and have her child there since it was a place she always felt at home.

Before leaving, Alix made another request, we wanted his lawyer to come with her as it would be of great help.

Mr. Suarez had 3 lawyers and Alix had to spell out the one she wanted and that was Carlo. At last, he agreed to let her leave with Carlo.

"Was it your idea for me to come with you to your trip to China?" Carlos asked two weeks before they came down to China.

"Why not? Are you unhappy about it?" Alix asked.

"I have a life over here, why are you dragging me to travel with a pregnant woman like you?" Carlos asked in an annoyed tone.

Alix chuckled heartily and asked, "Are you feeling irritated being with a pregnant woman like me?"

"Of course! I am not your husband or bodyguard, why do I have to follow you around?" Carlos asked.

"In case you don't know, I get what I want. This is what you have to pay for, for being Mr. Suarez's exclusive lawyer." Alix said.

Carlos was the only lawyer out of the 3 lawyers Mr. Suarez had, that didn't work for anybody and he was paid a hefty sum of money every month.

Carlos was really annoyed with Alix for bringing up things out of her selfish reasons.

"How long will you be staying there?" Carlos asked. Although Mr. Suarez had told him that he only had to follow Alix to China until she gives birth, he already knew that she would have other plans.

"I don't know, we will see about that." Alix had replied.

Two weeks later, Alix, Carlos and a servant Mr. Suarez a.s.signed to look after Alix took a flight to China.

Arriving there on their first night, they spend their first night in the hotel and the next day, Carlos contacted an agency to see the house they had reserved for Alix.

Mr. Suarez had paid the deposit before Alix made the trip down to China. So now, Carlos was going to inspect the house on behalf of Alix, before they can make the full payment.

Alix with her unknown intentions wanted to find a house close to Fu Hua's place but that was not possible. It was going to cost a lot of money to buy a house there from anyone that was ready to sell theirs and knowing that her husband wouldn't allow that, she debunked that idea and instead, picked a house in a conducive place.

The first place she had picked was an expensive apartment where so many important people lived but she gave up on it because she didn't want anyone to monitor her or guess when she left her house and returned and all of those headaches.

At last, she picked a small duplex located in an expensive area to settle down.

Immediately after recovering from the jet lag, Alix immediately showed off that she was in China. She took walks in the hotel premises and took pictures next to the building to show off without minding that she could be attacked for exposing her location.

Two days later with Carlos's expertise and efficiency, Alix moved into her new place. Carlos wasn't supposed to live in the same house with her, so he also rented the building next to hers to stay.

Alix hadn't liked that idea but she couldn't make him live in the same house with her since the caregiver her husband had a.s.signed to her, was present.

Alix's arrival in China caused sharks of reactions from many people who asked her the reason she came back when she looked like she was almost due for her child's birth. But that was not any of Alix's concern.

Alix was busy having different spa and beauty sections and taking so many photos in different places and posting them.

Sometimes, she would rant about her experiences about being pregnant like she was the first woman to ever become pregnant, which annoyed a lot of people greatly.
