Chapter 810

“I have saved the world once again!” Dio said with a smile on his face, but everyone just avoided making eye contact as they couldn’t bear to see Dio in this state. 

“I have contacted the medical team, they will come here soon!” Tony said as he held his nose to hold back the tears that threatened to come. Dio just shakes his head as Tony was really his best friend! Tony already cried when Dio wasn’t even dead just yet! 

Dio summoned the [World] with the little amount of Hamon he had, but fortunately for him, Reality Overwrite used Soul instead of Hamon Energy, and he still had quite a lot of Soul! Soon, he overwrote his wounds, and the souls that he acc.u.mulated until this moment were immediately depleted down to the last one! 

Then, he looked Wanda in the eyes and smiled at her. “Don’t worry, love, we have done our best!” he said as he lied in Wanda’s arms. Right now, the Reality Overwrite failed to refill his vitality!

Steve and the others were forced to let out a bitter smile as they indeed had tried their best to stop Thanos. 

“You have saved so many people, why can’t you save yourself?” Wanda said frustratedly, clearly holding back her tears.

“I have used all my energy for this battle! But I don’t regret a single thing I have done! At the very least, I still have a chance to look at you for the last time!” Dio said as he started to cough blood a few times. His body had started to deteriorate as he didn’t have much strength left!

So, Dio knew that he had to bring [Gold Experience] back!

“I have something to say for you, my love!” Dio said as he whispered it to Wanda.

“Say it, I am listening!” Wanda said frustratedly.

“How many children do you want if we had the chance?” Dio asked playfully.

“I will have as many children as you want!” Wanda said with a sad look on her face.

“d.a.m.n, I can’t wait to see our children run around the house!” Dio said as he started to close his eyes.

“We will make it happen! Stay awake for me, please. Hold on just for a couple more minutes, doctors are already on their way!” Wanda said as she tried to keep Dio awake, but eventually, Dio closed his eyes. The Avengers couldn’t help but burst into tears as they thought that Dio was dead! 

Thor then threw his Stormbreaker away in anger and smashed Thanos’ wrecked s.h.i.+p even more as he couldn’t accept such an ending! But it wasn’t just him. In fact, everyone else couldn’t accept that Dio had died either!

But suddenly, Dio woke up and frowned. “Stop throwing things around, you guys! You almost scared me to death!” Dio said casually. 

“Alright, I am sorry!” Thor said as he held his hands up and stopped what he was doing earlier.

“Hey guys, why is it so cold? When did New York get so cold like this?” Dio said as he started to tremble. Everyone shuddered again as they thought that Dio had to be close to his demise if he told everyone that it was cold!

Wanda immediately hugged Dio tightly as she tried to warm Dio. Tony even exposed his Arc Reactor to make sure that Dio’s last moment was warm.

“Actually, I have a last wis.h.!.+” Dio said emotionlessly.

“What is it?” Steve said as he tried to listen closely to Dio’s last request.

“I want to dance together with everyone, but it seems that is no longer an option for me!” Dio said sadly. Everyone was frozen in place, they knew how absurd the request was, but they didn’t have the heart to reject it either. 

“f.u.c.k it, let’s do it!” Pietro said as he didn’t want to make Dio wait for too long. Everyone didn’t care about their appearance right now as it was for Dio’s last request! 

“That’s great! Tony, open my email, and there is a video stored in the cloud server. I originally wanted to do this dance with you all, but it was unfortunate for me to end like this.” Dio said with a sad look on his face. Tony began to get a feeling that he was being pranked, but he did what Dio had said immediately anyway. 

Tony opened Dio’s file and saw the video that Dio was talking about, but once he saw what type of dance it was, Tony still couldn’t understand what its origin was! It seemed Dio had really prepared for this dance party he was talking about! Tony sighed in defeat and showed everyone the dance Dio had prepared. 

 “Wanda, stay with me for now! After the end of the dance, I want you to keep the video for me!” Dio said hopefully.

“Alright!” Wanda nodded her head immediately. Because the Avengers feared that Dio would die before they finish the dance, everyone immediately started to get into position as soon as they saw the video.

The infamous Harlem Shake, become Avenger Shake! The dance’s step wasn’t complicated, so everyone could follow the dance quite quickly. It was a pretty spectacular scene as everyone was really in sync! 

Dio felt touched as he didn’t expect everyone to agree to this selfish request of his. This was beautiful! Where else could he see Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Dr. Strange, Black Widow, the Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Panther, and so on dance for him?

So, Dio closed his eyes slowly and smiled happily. The music of the dance was finally over, and everyone stopped dancing without saying anything. Clearly, they were embarra.s.sed by the dance. Still, the sad atmosphere was still there as they thought Dio had died. 

Steve then walked to Wanda’s side to comfort her, but Steve heard something that made him question everything they had done earlier! 

It was the sound of someone’s breathing when they fell asleep after an exhausting day! And it came from Dio! Steve didn’t understand what he was hearing right now as he thought Dio had died!
