There were two reasons as to why Jiang Mingwei came to look for Mu Mingtang today. Firstly, to get back the rank she used to be, and secondly, to find out the reality of the situation in Prince An’s Mansion. In other words, she wanted to know about his physical state and how much he had recovered.

Looking at Mu Mingtang’s expression and condition now, she seemed to have drawn answers for these two questions.

Like a crabapple after the rain, she shone brightly and it was unbearable.

In the beginning, it was Mu Mingtang who resembled Jiang Mingwei.

Mu Mingtang was sent to the palace as Jiang Mingwei’s stand-in in her previous life, which formed a bad relations.h.i.+p between the two. The two of them were not alike, but because they were born together, they accompanied each other even throughout lifetimes.
