Mu Mingtang gave a hum as a response and didn’t want to even ask any further, but she made her point across, “Princess Jin, seeing as you made your way here purposefully, I presume that you have something to say. If so, please go ahead and say it so as to not waste both our time.”

“This Princess is very ashamed for wasting my sister-in-law’s time,” Although Jiang Mingwei said this, she changed the tone of her voice and asked, “On such a lively day as the first day of the celebration, we should enjoy the New Year along with everyone, so why is my sister-in-law sitting in a remote place alone? Could it be that even on such a beautiful day, there is no one around to talk to my sister-in-law?”

Mu Mingtang raised her eyebrows but endured her annoyance and replied, “You can think about it that way if you want to. Does Princess Jin have anything else to say?”

Mu Mingtang made no secret of her intention to chase away her guest. Jiang Mingwei was embarra.s.sed, but her tone was still adamant, so she sat down cheekily.

“Sister-in-law is really angry today, could something be wrong?”
