Chapter 5 Part 1

The welcome event for the new students lasted for about 2 hours. Afterwards,
the members of the student council planned to go eat together. The program
director patted Lin Chuyan’s shoulder and asked, “Lin Chuyan, are you coming?”

It was quite nice of him to invite him as Lin Chuyan wasn’t a member of the
student council.

“I’m not going, you guys go ahead.” Lin Chuyan turned it down.

“Alright.” The program director felt a little let down and turned to see all the
female members of the student council were also quite disappointed.

He had to admit that this Lin Chuyan was quite popular amongst the girls.

Lin Chuyan was kept behind by his professor for a short talk. When he left the
auditorium, most of the people had already left.

He loosened the tie and looked at the time on his cell phone, it was 10 o’clock
sharp.

A girl walked up to him. “Lin, Lin Xuezhang.”

“En?” Lin Chuyan lowered his head to look at the girl. The girl was looking

way to deal with it. If the girl was confessing to him, he would say that he already
had a girlfriend. If the girl was inviting him for some event, he would say that he
was sorry but didn’t have the time…...Therefore, he already had his response ready
when he heard the girl begin to confess to him in broken sentences.

What he didn’t expect was that his cell phone would suddenly vibrate. He’d just
received a message and couldn’t help himself but take a look at it.

It’s Nuannuan: I’ve been reported! I’m banned!

Lin Chuyan couldn’t hold back a chuckle.

The girl couldn’t believe that her confession would be mocked. She looked at him
in surprise, with tears in her eyes and a face as red as a pig’s liver. She was so
embarra.s.sed and frustrated.

Lin Chuyan was also embarra.s.sed. He stopped laughing and was about to say
something, but the girl already turned around to run away, wiping her eyes all the
while.

Lin Chuyan actually wanted to explain to the deeply saddened girl, but she had
disappeared from his sight and he didn’t even remember what she looked like.

Lin Chuyan turned his attention to his cell phone and replied to It’s Nuannuan:
That’s what you get for not listening to me.

Xiang Nuan sensed gloating from Chuyan’s reply. She angrily replied: Can’t you
just comfort me a bit since I have already suffered so much?

Chuyan: How would I comfort you?

It’s Nuannuan: I’m banned for 24 hours, I can’t form any team during this period.
So you can’t form a team either. Don’t play with others…...Answer me in a loud
voice, can you do it?

It’s Nuannuan: The time to examine our friends.h.i.+p has arrived!

Chuyan didn’t reply.

Xiang Nuan thought her demands was a bit excessive? After all, they only knew
each other for 3 days and it was online. What kind of friends.h.i.+p was there……

Yet, she was worried that if Chuyan leveled up too quickly, then they couldn’t play
together anymore. Where could she find another lousy player like him again?

After 5 or 6 minutes, Chuyan finally replied.

Chuyan: Ok.

There was only one word, so clear and simple. Nevertheless, Xiang Nuan laughed.

The reason why Lin Chuyan waited so long to reply was because he had gone to
the supermarket. He grabbed some basic necessities and snacks, those he had tried
before or those he had never eaten before. They would be cleared out quickly by
those hungry wolves in his dorm anyway, they wouldn’t go to waste. It was kind of
strange, he never had felt such a strong urge to go shopping before. Now that he was
poor, he wanted to buy everything he saw as if he was getting revenge on someone
for no good reason.

While he was in the supermarket, he kept talking with Nuannuan.

Xiang Nuan was quite satisfied with Lin Chuyan’s promise. She screenshot the
answer and sent it over to him: Keep it as evidence.

The remark about him on the picture caught Lin Chuyan’s attention.

Chuyan: The strongest elementary school kid?

It’s Nuannuan: Cough, cough, cough, cough, cough.

Xiang Nuan was still angry at Chuyan. To get even, Xiang Nuan changed his t.i.tle to
“The famed number two feeder.”
