"It's okay Jayne. It's all over. I'm here with you now. You are no longer alone. Even this doggie will be fine. Alright?" He kissed her forehead and comforted her.
A few minutes ago when she saw the dog crying for help, she remembered those moments when she fell off the mountains and how she was crying for help before she became unconscious. She felt immense pain to remember it.
They reached the mansion. It was very well-lit and decorated for the party. A huge line of different cars were parked all along. The entire mansion was in party mood. But Jayne paid no attention to any of that. She wanted to save the dog first.
She ran inside the mansion with the dog and asked the nearest maid for the first aid kit till the doctor would treat it.
The maid saw a beautiful lady with a dog panic-stricken along with their First Master. She greeted, "First master!"
"Yes, didn't you hear? Go get the first aid kit!" He ordered.
"Yes Master." She ran inside to get the kit and came back soon.
Jayne cleaned the wounds and applied medicine and bandage. The dog became fine. It started running around near Jayne.
Jayne felt so happy, even she began dancing and then she hugged Ronnie not caring for what anybody would think.
Ronnie chuckled, "So, finally are you happy now?" He kissed her forehead.
"Very much Ronnie. I'm so relieved now. Thank you so much." She was so delighted that her face glowed like the full moon.
At that instant a deep, authoritative female voice could be heard. " What's with the commotion there?"
"Mom!" Ronnie greeted his mother and walked along with Jayne towards her.
Jayne saw a woman in her fifties with sharp eyes, neatly arched eyebrows, thin lips, honey silken skin, with shoulder length caramel hair walking down the stairs towards them.
She was wearing a pink couture dress with minimal jewellery. Since she was tall, her dress fitted her very well and she looked elegant, a perfect lady of the house playing the perfect host.
Jayne then realised from where Ronnie got his Greek-G.o.d looks from. She could safely say, 'Like mother, like son!'
"Ron! I'm so happy to see you my child." Mrs. Caroline Roy fought back her tears and hugged her son.
Jayne stood beside them and saw the love and affection between the mother and son. She too was overwhelmed with their emotions.
Ronnie then looked towards Jayne, "Mom, this is Jayne."
"You don't have to tell anything else." She said in a stern voice.
"Mom I-" Ronnie was interrupted by his mom.
"I told you not to tell anything else. Can't you listen to your mother Ron?" Mrs. Caroline Roy hissed at her son.
Jayne was intimidated by Mrs. Caroline Roy and hence she hid herself beyond Ronnie.
"Will you please step aside and show yourself young lady?" Mrs. Caroline Roy said with the same authoritative voice.
