But all of them weren't the same individuals who were the year before. All their lives had changed dramatically with the coming of the new year. January 1st...changed their lives forever! Ronnie and Jayne got married and were now husband and wife. On the other hand, Virat and Sanvi's life had now become entangled overnight since they'd explored the forbidden territory though Virat was still quite unaware of it.

"Honey, I don't want to work. Wish I could stay with you all day all night." Ronnie buried himself in Jayne's chest on their bed. He kept throwing tantrums just like a kid who'd come up with reasons not to go to school after vacation.

"My dear husband, I ain't going anywhere. You'll come back home to me, your wife. Plus, I've to go to the university today. It's my first day. So, come on up! Get ready. Else we'll be late. " Jayne had to literally drag Ronnie out of their bed.

"Baby, I've an idea. Let's shower together. That way, you can get what you want.. that is to get ready soon and I can get what I want..." He rubbed his palms and seductively eyed Jayne while peeping into her top.

"Ronnie!" Jayne had to now push him inside the bathroom.

"Jayne listen to me, we can save water and time. Come along baby….."He kept pleading to Jayne.

Jayne was still recovering from her honeymoon sores. Literally her entire body had hickeys. She could hardly get up from bed. Yet, she somehow put up a face like she's normal. Thinking about their entire honeymoon, Jayne thought, 'If I go in with Ronnie, I'm sure I won't be able to hold in any longer. Moreover, I don't even think I'll be able to get out of the bath. I should logically prevent Ronnie from showering together.'

"Ronnie, if you shower alone, you'll hardly take thirty minutes. But if I come along, we won't be out anytime before three hours. Remember? Switzerland? We spent more than half a day in the bathroom. That way, you'll be late to office and I won't be able to go to college." Jayne clarified to Ronnie rendering him speechless. She was silently celebrating that her plan worked.

But Ronnie refused to give in. "Jayne today too we'll come out in thirty minutes. Just a quickie. Come with me baby.." Before Jayne had the chance to refute he scooped her up in his arms and sealed her lips with his mouth. The sounds of "Ah!" could be heard amidst the sounds of hot water flowing down their bodies.

Like Jayne had expected,.she had no energy left to even lift her fingers. Ronnie lovingly wrapped his wife with a bathrobe and carried her out and placed her on the bed. Jayne pa.s.sed out immediately. Ronnie left a note on her bedside table.

He then changed into work clothes and went downstairs. Daniel West was already waiting for him.

"Good morning, Boss!" Daniel West greeted him. But Ronnie's hickey on his upper neck couldn't escape his eyesight.

Daniel West didn't know how to react. He thought, 'At such times, Ignorance is bliss!' He smiled to himself and got back to his usual calm composure.
