Since that visit, Lila often stopped by to meet her brother in this place. To her surprise, Haruka didn't seem to mind either. The two of them seemed to form some a bond, because when she woke up. Haruka wasn't as bitter towards brother anymore. She wonders what happened; she examined Haruka for injuries just in case. But it didn't look like they fought, so they calmly had a conversation about her?

It was hard to believe, but Lila supposed she shouldn't question the matter any further. It's a good thing for her if they get along. Haruka seems to know that he's her brother, so won't it be long before he makes the connection? Lila shook her head, her brother's disguise plan is actually perfect. He's stronger than her too, so she has no reason to doubt him.

But, "I wonder when he will tell Haruka the truth," Lila said out loud. Her brother can't be planning to keep this act up forever, and something tells her that brother wants to regain his friends.h.i.+p with Haruka too.

"I want to become an honest person, a strong person. Somebody who will protect those she cares about. That is the kind of person. I want to be." she whispered ever so quietly.

Lila extended her hand out; it really is such a vast sky. Such a vast and far away sky. It's not something that anyone can reach by merely extending your hand out. It's something she understood all too well. If it is something that people can reach that easily, then there probably wouldn't be any more hards.h.i.+ps. There would not be any suffering's and misfortunes. When that happened will she finally be able to meet with those she left behind?

"You know Kiryu. It really would have been better for you if you fell in love with a cute girl who is a completely normal girl with dreams and not someone who's cursed. Maybe then you would have had it easier. Perhaps if I were normal, then our meeting would have been different. I would have seen you and thought what a cool senpai, and we would end up brus.h.i.+ng against each other in the corridors, and you'd end up saving me from strange guys. Then one day I'd call you up to the rooftop and confess. I mean even if you had feelings for me. My Kiryu you surely won't be able to do something like that," she laughed, "But you know none of that can happen now... It can only remain a dream."

"I'm so happy, regardless. I really am. These past few weeks have been like a dream. I thought to myself like this were normal. And maybe I could have said it properly too."

As of late, it had become somewhat painful. Almost suffocating even, Lila couldn't breathe whenever she thought about it. About what happened that time a few months ago. Why was she suddenly reminded of it?

Even though after that night Haruka took her away and she cried for three days straight. Even though after that she didn't bring up it again. She acted like her usual self... And well, perhaps for a little while she was able to forget about it. After all so so many things happened during the time frame of the month afterward. For a little while, she was able to forget this pain. The pain that came from Austin Kiryu leaving her.

Upon hearing a ping sound, her gaze lands on her phone.

In the end she had started up a twitter account; apparently, it's something most idols do these days to here the responsive messages of their fans encouraging them. Well, she supposed she understood that logic. From the second she made it, she already gained one follower.

At the beginning a.s.sumed it would be Haruka since he was the one who managed to convince her in the end. But to her surprise, it was somebody else. It shouldn't come as a surprise since she's an idol now. It's completely normal to have a fan or two. There was something about this person that gave her a completely different feeling than all the others.

A nostalgic feeling, this username, and that way of encouraging. It was so forward and yet so awkward. Could it be, somebody came to mind. A flash of silver, but Lila shook her head, no it can't be.

From the sounds of it, it seems to be a resident too.

The bracelet idea huh?

It was one of Kasumi's suggestions. During our next concert. We should wear a bracelet. We can all make them together'. She fingers the now torn bracelet in her hands; in the end, it broke. She wasn't a superst.i.tious person but even Lila saw that as a sign. A sign that things that have broken can no longer be fixed.

Lila blinked at the response. This person seems to know a lot about it. About the concerts, she and the others in her group held in a local mall for promotion purposes.

She deeply sighed what is she doing wasting time on something like this for. It's not as though knowing that factor would change anything. But she clenched the phone closer to the center of her chest; there is something about this that gives such a nostalgic feeling.

Her thoughts broke off when she heard the door open from behind her, "Lila? What are you doing out here, it must be cold," Oujiro said appearing through the doorway.

"I was watching the stars."

Oujiro joined her; he didn't sit down but merely stood beside her," I see. It's almost that time huh?"

Lila nodded

"It's almost been a year since then."

Almost a year since her mother returned and since she started dating Kiryu.

Since she put on that stage and conveyed her feelings to her most important person.

How much time has pa.s.sed since they had to break up? Since she chose another path?

"Senpai, do you think I'll be able to become a true idol?"

By that question, Lila was asking him if it's possible for her to become a legend like her Mother and sister. Just because she obtained the t.i.tle of number one, it didn't make her a legend. To become a legendary idol, a person has to do so much more than obtain a t.i.tle.
