She looked at YuYing and ordered her to change her clothes.

"Get another dress which is more comfortable than this. Choose that white hanfu[5] at the second chest. I want to sleep immediately after we return."

She was still wearing the red hanfu and she wanted to change it in a much more comfortable dress. She liked the color of red, showing her dominant and arrogant side, but wearing white was more comfortable for her. In front of Xu Ji An, she lost the motivation to pretend and act like a n.o.ble lady.

Her three maidservants immediately helped her change her dress but when she finished dressing, XuanRong did not leave, instead, she sat on the table and ask YuShen to prepare for a dinner. The three dumbly stared at her before trying to hold back their laughter. She was also affected by them and could not help but laugh.

"XiaoJie is really mean."

XuanRong glared at YuShang.

"What 'mean' ah? I am hungry. I can't move my limbs when I'm hungry. How could I stand up and leave the courtyard if my stomach is growling like a hungry lion?"

She had to select carefully in order to avoid mishap. She did not want to experience being betrayed once again like what YuLi did to her. Although she no longer cared about YuLi, the wound she created inside XuanRong's heart left a scar that could no longer heal no matter what.

After she finished eating, XuanRong told YuYing to bring her a cup of tea and sat idly, trying to waste time. Thinking of Xu Ji An's face filled with anger, XuanRong inwardly laughed.

Xu Ji An had been listening to XuanFei's performance. At first, his emotions were greatly stirred when he heard her piece.
