Shao Yan stayed silent.

The woman inside the cubicle, not knowing that Shao Yan was outside, still continued to talk, "So do you think.. she also slept with Wenhai and uncle Huo too?" And then she bursted to chuckles by herself.

The two women outside were so embarra.s.sed, they could only gave a stiff smile at Shao Yan who was glancing at them through the mirror.

Shao Yan purposely took her time in was.h.i.+ng her hands. She's waiting for the third woman to come out. Hm.. Suddenly her fingers looked so interesting. Her fingernails were already so long. Maybe she should go for manicure tomorrow?

After she heard a flush, Shao Yan took a paper napkin to wipe her fingers. One finger by one finger. She bid her time.

When the third woman finally came out and saw Shao Yan, she was so surprised.

"Oh my! Senior!!" and reflexively put her unwashed hand to cover her mouth. She staggered back to the wall, almost hit the other girls who were standing there unmoving.

Shao Yan looked up and stared at the three women from the mirror. She did not say anything. They were feeling the pressure inside the restroom slowly rising high. Project Manager Shao was surprisingly scary ah~ What was this chilly air?

Shao Yan soft voice suddenly echoed in the restroom. "En, are you girls... having fun tonight?" Shao Yan spoke so gentle, so demure like a little miss.

They looked at her warily, "Hee.. Hee.. Yes! Yes! It is a really nice party, Senior!" one of the women tried to laugh, but she was feeling awkward.

Shao Yan nodded while still looking down at her fingernails, "En. That's good" she paused, "If there is anything you see that needs improvement, let me know immediately."

Shao Yan looked up again and stared back at them from the mirror, "After all, I campaigned to be the project lead for a whole year. President Huang himself awarded me this project."

She paused, and scrunched her eyebrows, "Hm.. Could it be because I speak four languages? Anyway, don't feel bad to ask anything, alright?" and then she slowly broke to a smile.

She threw the paper napkin away, and then turned around, finally looking at them face to face, "Oh! By the way, I remember that all of you are only 2 years younger than me, right?"

The three women looked at her puzzled, what's with the sudden age discussion now?

Shao Yan smiled again, and then continued, "You young women ah~ Don't just focus on working. Go out and find a boyfriend too. You should have lots of s.e.x."

Shao Yan then used one of her pinky finger to draw a curve line below her eye bag, and pointed to them, "You ladies need it more than I do" she lowered her voice, "... o.r.g.a.s.m actually make your skin looks brighter!"

Their face went so pale at Shao Yan's bluntness.

D.. Did she just tell us that we look old?!

That we did not have boyfriends?!

The three women were shocked and unable to retort back.

Shao Yan turned around and was about to walk out.

She suddenly stopped and turned to them again, "Oh! Right! One more thing, Daniel was the one who chased me. So it's not pillow talk. It is MY beauty that rule the world!"

She swiped her hair dramatically, swung them to the back and then she walked out of the ladies room without looking back.

When Shao Yan stepped out, her hands were shaking. She quickly turned to a corner and leaned her back to the cold marble wall. She took a deep breath and slowly exhaled.

She gave herself a pat on the back, 'Good job, Shao Yan. You lifted your head up high!'

Shao Yan always hated conflict, but she felt that she could not back down just now! Hopefully she acted like an adult!

The her two years ago probably would have just came out after was.h.i.+ng her hands, without saying anything. She realized, maybe she grew stronger because of Li Xiqing?

She wallowed in her embarra.s.sment for a while. She couldn't believe she could even said those words out loud.

"I didn't know that o.r.g.a.s.m actually make your skin brighter?"

Shao Yan stiffened up and slowly looked back. She saw Li Xiqing was looking at her smirking. And then he walked closer and held her hand.

"... You..."

Shao Yan was speechless. She tried to search for words. And then tried to talk again. "You.. How much did you actually hear?" Shao Yan frowned and then grabbed his arm.

Li Xiqing held her hand, and started to walk out. They needed to enter the ballroom now. Or they would be late.

"Hm.. let's see" he stroked his chin, while pretending to be thinking hard, "I know that it is YOUR beauty that rule the world", he pursed his lips trying not to laugh.

Shao Yan was horrified! Mister! Basically you've heard everything!

Argh!

Li Xiqing was looking at her face that kept changing expressions. From stunned to horror, to now painful sorrow. Why did she has to be so cute. He could not help it and finally smiled at her.

The night was too long. He wanted to just hug her and kiss her right now. Sigh.

So he could only be satisfied with rubbing her hair and pinching her cheek for now.

He moved closer to her ear and whispered, "But.. Yan Yan, I don't remember about the s.e.x and the o.r.g.a.s.m part." he looked into her round big bright eyes, "When are we going to try that?"

Shao Yan slapped his arm "We are late!", she trudged to the ballroom leaving him behind.

Before they entered, Shao Yan checked her own appearance. "You look good. Don't worry." Li Xiqing stroked her head.

Shao Yan took a deep breath and then took his hand and walked with him.

"How did you find me just now?" She finally asked him.

"I couldn't find you when I heard the announcement. I was looking around when I saw you entered the ladies room. So I decided to wait outside."

Shao Yan nodded. She still couldn't believe that her gangster act just now was caught by this man.

"So what four languages do you actually speak?" he was holding her lower back, directed her to her table.

Shao Yan looked at him, and cheekily said, "I lied" she stuck out her tongue, "I only know English".

She shrugged, "But they won't know it anyway" and then she grinned happily.

Li Xiqing rubbed her hair and shook his head helplessly. His girl.. was sometimes so mischievous!

Ninety nine round tables were set up inside the grand ballroom. Most of the guests were already seated.

There was a small golden color gift bag placed on top of each chairs. Inside, there were some souvenirs for the guests. Gold Crane had put in five grams pure gold crane origami-shape accessory and twelve miniature of Chinese zodiac made from Swarovski crystals for each guests.

Shao Yan sat on the same table as her team, while Li Xiqing sat with his team, President Huang and VP Zhuang.

Mr. Qu stepped onto the stage to open the celebration, "Thank you everyone for celebrating with us today. Gold Crane is now 50 years old. Like excellent wine, we will blossom to be more appetizing and more mature as we walk together on this journey with us."

Miss Li chimed in, "To start the night, please welcome to the stage, Gold Crane president and CEO, Huang Junjie!"

And round of applauses finally marked the opening celebration of the night.
