"Humour me, little bro. It has been so long since I have last been able to check up on you. I really do want to make sure you are okay but I also want to tease you." Kazuki laughs heartily and starts looking over Gabriel's body. "You don't have much muscle and yet I hear that you are as fast as ever whipping up the medicines. How come I was never able to compete with you on speed?" 

Gabriel pulled his arm away. "It's all in the technique. You and I do things completely different and that's what I am that much faster than you. I have perfected the technique that Grandfather drilled into my head. That old man was brutal but at the same time was right. If you really want something then you need to work hard for it. Also before you ask the most I have done is give her kisses. She is so sweet and innocent. This is the first girl I have ever gotten close to like this. I have had others try and throw themselves on me but I am known as the cold prince at school. Can we go now?" 

"You are clear, Dr. Saito. Let's go. I will come with you and help out. I might not know what you need but we will work faster if there are three of us rather than two." Kazuki holds out his hand and pulls Gabriel up. "I am a bit surprised that you told me that Information." 

"If I didn't tell you, I just know that you will contrast the facts in your mind and I will be made out into a bad guy." Gabriel let Kazuki help him out and the two left the room. "Mari, thank you for letting me sleep for such a long time. I am going to see Subaru now." He changed his shoes and stepped outside. 

Mari shook her head and watched as the two brothers left the inn. 'Forever I will be grateful.' 

Kazuki bowed to Mari then followed Gabriel out. "Gabriel we will be ready to leave I figure in a few hours. The others are back from the fields. I thought that we could let them relax for a few hours. Yes, I know that you want to get home but you also need to worry about the herbs that you picked with Subaru." 

"I know. I want them to take a break. They were a big help out in the fields. They deserve some time to rest. Oh, that reminds me I never introduced you to the other man that travelled with me. Edward is the father of my beloved." Gabriel says this as they reach the house and knock on the door. 

Subaru opens the door and smiles. "Gabriel, how are you feeling now?" 

"I just pushed myself and caught a fever but I have recovered. This tends to happen when I overwork myself and do not get an adequate amount of sleep." Gabriel looked at Subaru, "I am sorry for worrying you but thank you for looking after the herbs."

"If I do not look after them who else would? Kazuki came and gave me a hand. It was really inspiring to see that he was also fast at sorting. We managed to get it all sorted and I set aside all the tea leaves for you and started to pull out what else you needed." Subaru walked into the house and led the way to the kitchen.

Gabriel followed him in and looked at the herbs that were sorted and nodded his head. "Thank you for doing this. I feel relieved." He looked at the wrapped herbs and smiled. 

"If this will help you sleep then I do not mind helping you out. I'm going to suffer a lecture when I get back but that is all in the past and I just wanted to have a good time and marry the one I loved. I must ask, Gabriel. How many meetings did they make you go on?" 

"Too many. It has been at least two or three every weekend since my sixteenth birthday." Gabriel shrugs as if that did not affect them. "I was nice in the beginning but as the meeting got piled on me I was very resentful. I already loved another and I didn't want to think about other girls. It was the last meeting that brought us together. I trashed it and went to the garden. That is when I feel harder for her then I did the first time I laid my eyes on her." 

"You were always the hopeful romantic. I am proud of you. I want to hear how you destroyed those meetings!" Kazuki was looking deeply at Gabriel, happy that he could see his little brother again.

"There is a lot of work that goes into those marriage meetings. I wonder is it really that easy to break it?" Subaru asked this while chuckling. 

 "It can be if you know what to do. To sabotage my meetings I said some things that would be taken the wrong way but the last one. The girl that wanted to be with me had a guy that she was secretly meeting and I said no based on the fact alone. I would only be with someone that is pure. The look of horror on the parents' faces and hers was well worth the effort. I went to the garden after that." Gabriel shrugs and continues going through the herbs. "This looks like it will be enough of everything." 

"Excellent. I gave you about half of the tea leaves. I didn't realize that I had so much saved up so I divided it. Half fresh half dried. I hope that is okay?" Subaru thinks of another root and pulls it out and hands it to Gabriel. "This was on your I might need more soon list." 

"Thank you, I really truly am grateful to you Subaru." Gabriel bows his head.
