Meanwhile as all these was going on, Ru Fangxi sat with a sad face.

Yin Anhao pacing about. Deng Yue remained calm as always.

"I can't believe the chairman, so much support for that b.i.t.c.h." Yin Anhao complained. She was furious, how could she be receiving so much love? They don't even know anything about her... This is ridiculous! "Okay, do you think the chairman fancy's Xueyan?" She asked. "Or perhaps, Xiujun fancy's her..."

"Fancy's her my a.s.s. Xiujun has only loved one woman!" Fangxi scowled. "We all know who it is, just that she doesn't give a care."

"It's okay, I think we should just allow her be. Let her enjoy it while it lasts," Deng Yue said and Yin Anhao rolled her eyes.

"Let her enjoy what? She's just trying cause havoc, and dispution." Yin Anhao breathed in. "But, she'll be shocked soon." There was a wicked smile on her face. "If her background is dug into..."

Fangxi head snapped at her. "Yes, you're correct! She won't last too long." She brushed off imaginary dust from her shoulders and stood up, heading outas her two minions followed suit.

Just at that moment, Mei Han whom wasn't paying attention b.u.mped into the ladies. She backed away and apologized. "I'm sorry, I wasn't looking."

"Yes sure," Yin Anhao started. "You not only lack parents, you also don't have a clear sight."

The words infuriated Mei Han, "You don't go around reminding people about their pains. You think it makes you look sleek? No, you're just a coward. A lion in a sheep clothing. Using people's weakness to target them, you've failed!" After lecturing Yin Anhao, she walked past making sure to brush shoulders, she knocked the shocked Yin Anhao into Fangxi who hissed.

"Mei Han!" But Mei Han was already very far off.

Deng Yue helped Yin Anhao straighten up, "That girl is growing wings,"

"I'll cut them off soon!" Yin Anhao was really angry. She wished she could send those two ladies flying with a flick of her hand.

They continued on their way out.

Her sob filled the ladies, she tried wiping her tears but kept sniffling and more tears kept pouring. Would it kill them not to mention her parents? Yes her parents had died, it wasn't her fault. Her relatives rejected her, and sent her to an orphanage... How was it her fault? Why was she blamed for everything?

By the time she came out of the toilet, her eyes was already hurting and red. She washed up and dried her face, still couldn't hide her eyes. She bent her head and walked out.

She tried not to make eye contact with Xueyan.

"Mei Han, where have you been? You've been gone for half an hour, where were you?" A worried Xueyan asked.

"I..." Mei Han discovered her voice was hoa.r.s.e and cleared it.

Xueyan went closer trying to lift the girls head, but Mei Han shook her head. "Please don't,"

"What happened to you? Did you cry again?" Xueyan worried tone made Mei Han look up.

"I got something in my eye and while trying to get it out I started crying..."

"Do I look that dumb, to you?" Xueyan was furious. "What happened? It's those three pests again, right?"

"No, it's not them."

"Hey Xue, let's go," Yuxi rested her body on the door frame.

"I've important thing to finish first," after Xueyan said that, she strode away. Disappearing into the big hall filled with workers parking up for the day.

"You sure do," Yuxi giggled. "Hey, are you alright?" She asked.

Mei Han nodded. "Yes,"

"You don't look like you're."

"I'm really alright,"

Xueyan met the three girls retouching their makeup in the bathroom. "Aye, aye, aye. You must be having fun by always poking at her."

Yin Anhao opened her mouth ready to speak but Xueyan told her to, "Shush it. I'm not done."

"Do you think you can command me?" Yin Anhao asked. Angered by Xueyan's courage to always shut her up.

Xueyan took a step forward, "One more word from you."

Yin Anhao had a lot to say, but words refused to form.

"And you think by aiming for Yin Anhao you're strong enough?" Fangxi asked, colouring her lips red.

Xueyan chuckled softly, but they felt the rumble in their body. "What do you know about being strong? You put your best friends in the front to always save your a.s.s... You're just a coward."

Fangxi laughed. "Now I see where that stupid girl learnt how to talk. Anything else?" Now she was facing Xueyan.

"Yes," Xueyan kicked Fangxi's leg and the latter fell to the ground. "You should be thanking me, I don't wear heels always."

"..." 

Deng Yue and Yin Anhao was both shocked.

"Go for my secretary, I will go for your leader." She pointed at the two panic-stricken girls.

Fangxi remained on the floor in a daze. What just happened? Did she just hit her precious b.u.t.tocks on this hard floor? Her cloth was now sitting directly on this dirty floor?

She couldn't imagine the pain and the dirt on her as she fainted.

"Are you okay, Fangxi?" Deng Yue soon recovered. "Anhao, help me." Yin Anhao still couldn't believe it. "Anhao, help me." She couldn't lift Fangxi by herself and she was still pretending like she fainted truly. She managed to drag Fangxi up as Yin Anhao was too shocked to react. "I'll slap you myself if you keep standing there," she gave Anhao a push and staggered away with Fangxi.

When the workers saw them, they couldn't hide the amus.e.m.e.nt dancing in their eyes. Some even started giggling.

The two looked like a mess.

When they entered their booth, Deng Yue sprinkled water on Fangxi's face. Why didn't I think about doing this first? 

Fangxi shut up from the couch she lay on, her hands balled into fists. "Where's she?" She looked left and right in search of Xueyan.

"I bet you should go home for a change, and Xueyan? She left a decade ago."

"Ah!" She screamed in pain as she tried move and her waist make a cracking sound. "That girl wants to kill me." She bawled.

"I thought them a good lesson, so you don't have to be scared."

"What did you do?" Mei Han spread her hand in order to stop Xueyan from going further.

"Just taste of their own medicine." She chuckled and Yuxi joined her.

"You must have kicked some b.u.t.ts," Yuxi smiled. "They don't know what they signed up for." And they started laughing again.

Xueyan picked her phone to dial the teacher's number, and her mouth fell open. She had a log of missed calls. When did I miss all these calls? Then her thoughts flashed back to when she had seen Zhaolin earlier. She had noted in her mind that he didn't look too good. She felt really bad that she missed his calls, he must be upset... Was he calling me before I saw him at the restaurant?

"What is taking your mind, off your sorrounding?" Yuxi asked.

"I have a... Never mind," she didn't know why, but she felt sad. He must be sad... Or maybe not.

The car drove towards the school, as she directed. She wanted to take her daughter on a shopping spree. The little girl had been studying too much. She never knew Qingran was doing all that to impress her. And she was impressed. She brought home her text and she got credit... For someone who had never been to any form of school since she was born... She felt really proud of her daughter.

When she got to the school, the little girl was waving a friend off. "Hey, mummy?" She excitedly called and ran up to the three women. "Aunty?"

"Yes," Yuxi answered. "How are you?"

"Fine. h.e.l.lo, aunty Mei."

"Oh my, Ran'er." She touched the little girls cheek.

"How do you know she's Ran'er?" Yuxi asked, Qingran didn't give people the pleasure to call her, by her pet names... She would instead tell you she's Bai Qingran. She must have found Mei Han sweet enough to do that.

Qingran sat in Xueyan's lap, as the driver drove away. Another car pulled into the school compound.

Zhaolin rested on his car, a smile tugged on his lips. Zhihao sauntered towards his father, the same smile on his face.

When he got closer he looked up at the man while s.h.i.+elding his eyes from the sun, "Hi,"

He bent to pick him up, then dropped him ontop of the car. "How was your day?"

"Fine," he grinned. "I saw Qingran leaving with a group of three ladies,"

Zhaolin suddenly frowned. "Did you see the car?"

"Yes, exactly like the one you gave me."

And Zhaolin sighed. "It's okay,"

"Are you sure? Though they were smiling..."

He pinched his cheek, "You are worried about her?"

Zhihao grinned, "Yes, and please let's stop over at Granny's place. I'm famished."

Zhaolin couldn't help but be more proud of this little guy. He was busy trying to get away from s.h.i.+ya and his lovely son was helping out. "Let's go,"
