Honey : The Empire's Treasure 14 Eject 9

Lila had everything planned out. When the Commander enters the room, she'll have the engine system go off. It'll be a false alarm but Kara won't know that.

Lila stood in the room waiting for the Commander's arrival. She hasn't seen Kara since yesterday evening, but once the alarms goes off she'll show up.

"Sir watch your step." Secretary Jun guided the commander into the last engine room.

"Are all the cores fixed?...Can we separate the s.h.i.+ps again?" The Commander knew the answer to this, but still want verbal conformation.

"Yes, Commander all cores are fully operational and the s.h.i.+ps can separate."

"Good...." The Commander looked at Lila, giving his nod of approval for her plan to commence.

Lila reached over the control panel to press a b.u.t.ton. All this will do is reverse the flow of air into the core. If Kara knew what to do she'll know she will need to release the pressure in the cores. Then redirect the air to it's correct flow. It's a simple matter but left for too long will result in a lot of damage.

Lila knew this, what's why she asked for the commander's approval first.

With the alarms going off crew members and soldiers started to flood the room.

Not knowing what was going on they immediately asked for Kara. Yet minutes pa.s.sed and still Kara had yet to show up.

The Commander looked to the soldiers present, "locate her and bring her back immediately."

Everyone disbursed. While the soldiers left the room, the crew continued to try and fix the situation.

"Ahhh..." a scream was heard.

Feet were moving as everyone in the room rushed to were they heard the screaming. Seeing a young female crew member crouch on the floor; people believe she was hurt.

"Are you okay? Stand up, lets have the medical officers look at you." Secretary Jun worked his way to the front of the crowd. Seeking to a.s.sist the young woman.

Before he could touch her she stood up and pointed in front of herself, "there's a body on the floor covered in blood."

At first no one could comprehend what the young woman was saying until she said it for the second time, "there's a body on the floor covered in blood".

This time everyone jumped into action. Moving the young woman out of the way, they indeed saw a body on the ground. Pulling the person out; on closer inspection they saw it was Kara. The very person they were all looking for.

"What happen to her? how did she end up in this state?" One of the crew members voiced out load what everyone was thinking.

With Kara found in this state the commander wanted to put an end to Lila's plan. Giving her the signal to return everything back to normal.

Yet before Lila to do so Pace rushed into the engine room and started the process himself under everyone's watch.

Completely surprise by this person's action, Lila wanted to make sure he was doing things correctly.

"Let me help you." When Lila reach out to release the pressure valve, her hand was slapped away.

"You don't touch anything... Where is Kara? What did you do to her? Some quick don't let this person escape!" Pace's hysteric voice cause everyone to look over in confusion.

"Pace, what are you doing?" Secretary Jun voice enters as he left Kara with the medics.

Pace looked at Secretary Jun then stretched his sight farther away where Secretary Jun was coming from to see Kara's p.r.o.ne body on the floor.

"Oh my!....You really did it? What is wrong with you? Are you that greedy? Did she kill her? Someone help her!" Pace's angry rant was directed at Lila. Everyone saw this.

The Commander having enough of this whole fiasco, "Enough! Everyone calm down. First someone cut off the alarms and fix the core." By someone, Lila knew he meant her.

Turning around Lila watched as Pace ran through the sequence to releasing the pressure valve and redirecting the flow of air. Allow the alarm to go silent.

Quietness returned to the room the Commander looked at Pace in a new light. Then turned to the medics.

"Is she alright?"

"She received a nasty trauma to her head. Plus she bleed out a lot. " the medic responded.

"Take her to sickbay. Treat her and I want updates." the medic nodded his head. With the a.s.sist of some crew members and soldiers they carried kara away on a stretcher.

"Now you two will be escorted to the conference room where you both will explain what is happening."

Lila was just as confuse by the whole situation as the Commander was. What exactly does he want her to explain?

Kara had woken up before they reach sickbay; but knowing their plan was not yet completed she continued be 'unconscious'.

In the sickbay the doctor laid Kara on the bed. Giving her a full body check - up the doctor concurred with medic. Kara had been hit in the head. Receiving a head trauma, left there untreated she continued to bleed out.

"I have stablize her and she is receiving care, but she will need to stay in observation. I don't know how this has affected her brain until she wakes up." The doctor told the soldier in charge.
