Mika couldn't help the fit of giggles that escaped her mouth when she saw Ruven's face after he saw the monster outside the window.

With him keeping the monster busy, Mika glanced at her surroundings and saw that she had escaped to an office building in the residence. Pulled herself together, she began to search for any useful information left behind by the Bizana clan.

Since she already had planned to come here after things were taken care of on ailwin's side, Mika figured there was no sense in her wasting a trip today.

Sitting down behind the wooden desk, Mika rifled through its draws before moving to the cabinets around the room; putting whatever she found interesting into her pockets for later review.

When this room was done, she moved on to the next. Like this, she searched five rooms before she checked on Ruven's situation.

After cras.h.i.+ng through the windows to reach its meal, the monster had went about destroying the building in its frustrations, luring Ruven out of hiding. With the building caving in above him, Ruven had to run for his life into whatever shelter he could find.

Without being able to teleport, thanks to Mika's nanos in his system, Ruven was having a hard time escaping from the monster he summoned.  

At first, he tried to run towards the build he last saw Mika in, but that didn't work out.

The monster had seen through his escape plan and quickly charged after him.

Despite being in his prime, due to using teleportation to get everywhere he went, Ruven's stamina was very lacking.

Lungs ready to collapse, he knew he wouldn't be able to reach last five meters to the building, let alone the door before the monster got to him.

Swiftly making a detour, Ruven entered Lord Elre's house through the broken front door.

*Screeeeeeech!* *Screeeeeeech!*

The monster's claws reached in trying to grab him. Though it was smaller than the other monster than chased Ailwin and Braeden, it was still too big to enter the house.

Seeing its prey again just out side of its reaches, drove the monster crazy. In a frenzy it started to beat at the walls of the residence, trying to tear its way inside.

*Boom!* *Booom!* *Cras.h.!.+*

Watching the monster beat at the walls made Ruven grit his teeth in anguish. 

When he brought that monster here he never thought he would be running for his life.

*Pant* *Pant* *Pant*

"….This b.i.t.c.h....made me....step on my own foot!….I'll kill….I'll kill her..."

Safely under a stable roof again, Ruven tried to catch his breath while d.a.m.ning Mika to an early death.

From the large window in the office, Mika watch Ruven enter the main residence.

Is that where Lord Elre gave Ailwin the tablet?

Thinking she has found enough information, Mika decided to help Ruven with her wisdom.

Who am I kidding? I just want to mess with him some more before I kill him. Mika laughed to herself.

Working her way back to the first cabinet she search, Mika picked up the case of liquor she found earlier.

She had thought of saving them to sneak back to the dorms after all this was over, but now her mind had better ideas for them.

Shredding the curtains on the windows, Mika stuffed the pieces into a couple of the bottles before gathering them into her arms.
